Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

Really randomly I have been spotting today which is 1 week before period/1 week after ovulation. Given my last period was 1 week late, maybe I am just back on track now? V bizarre.

Hope you 2 are ok - are those tests you’re posting ovulation or pregnancy? Feels like a lifetime ago that we TTC our second and I’ve forgotten everything 😄

Hmmm maybe but what are the chances from one hit! And I am only 7 days post DTD and apparently that’s early. Gah I’m a hyperchondriac at the best of times and pregnancy stuff makes it even worse!!

Honestly didn’t realise I had not posted this!! Should I count the peak one as my peak even though it was early?

Awww I hear you @Terrazzo it is so easy to get carried away with it all! These are opk I am posting! This will be my first proper cycle 🙈🙈

@Springflower3 yes that's definitely your peak hope u have DTD! Not having much look my side doesn't even look any darker. Feeling a bit disheartened today. Top was yesterday bottom today x

Aww @Skl2021 it’s horrible when you don’t see the lines getting darker! I feel your pain! It will happen, will you resist the urge to buy more once these are done? Is there a chance though, your diluting your pee to much? What about the monitoring your temp? It is a cheaper option if your buy the thermometer and just record each morning?
Yea we DTD last night and the night before.... I suspect I would ovulate some stage today? My temp was slightly higher today.... so I think tonight will tell the tale if it has gone up? That’s me totally guessing tbh I will wait and see what the app tells me 🤣🤣🤣 xx

TTC no 3 and I'm 30 aswell, currently on cd 31 - had depo removed mid March. AF used to arrive cd 35 so will see as seems like forever since I've had to track

@Springflower3 no I'm not buying anymore IL just go with the flow. No I'm not to bothered about temping. Wouldn't be accurate anyway as I don't get up at the same time. IL just keep DTD regularly as I can and hopefully I'm covered. Now u have the dreaded tww!! Xx

@Skl2021 oh goodness the tww.... I’m gonna stop testing now... hopefully I have or will ovulate so no point watching the line fade! I tested this morning just to see and it is still high but defo not what it was so I gonna take it the surge is over!
My fingers are crossed for you! What has been your longest cycle? Xx

@Springflower3 couldn't help myself and got a BFN this morning.... about 30 mins later I can feel some slight cramping. Yes tracking but feels like forever since I did this before! DD is almost 6 and DS is 3.5. Sounds silly but really want to fall ASAP as got lots of weddings and things planned summer 2022 🙈 anyone feel the same? Xx

@nicole301 how are you tracking? I’m using opk and just starting using OvuSense (I don’t think it will tell me much this cycle but maybe next).
This is my first cycle as I came off the pill end of March and had my break thru bleed 4 weeks later! I’m defo finding this cycle is shorter for me as I thought I was a 32 day cycle!
When your other 2 kids did you have to try for long? Xx

@Springflower3 my longest cycle was 49 days. That was horrible didn't know what was going on. Last cycle was around 29 days. And ovulation was cd 17. I'm currently cd 18/19 now so hoping something will happen soon 🤞🤦

@Springflower3 it's just an app called period tracker. 7 months with DD and 5 months with DS. What about you? X

@Skl2021 I am jealous of your restraint! Yes god love you those do sound like long cycles.... yea the temping with a thermometer does sound like a bit of a hassle... I don’t know how the ppl that do have the patience to track it so well!! Hopefully this time your cycle won’t be that long... if your surge is quick to happen the opk may just not have picked it up. Or there is still time for a 30/32 cycle to occur
@nicole301 with my first... she was a total surprise and unplanned! Didn’t realise I was pregnant until I was like 8 weeks 🙈 then my son I used the cb digital opk and it took about 4 cycles. This will be my first attempt with my new DP so it is a total unknown! He has no kids of his own but I’m hoping all is good anyways xx

@Springflower3 oh trust me I have no restraint 🤣 last few months IV been like a mad women testing like crazy. Symptom spotting it took over my life so this month I said enough is enough I need to step back a bit. It is killing me especially now my body is playing tricks. I just want to ovulate 🙈 it's not uncommon for me to ovulate this late so just got to wait. And my cycles can vary so let's see 🤞are you going to test early? X

@Skl2021 it’s funny how you can totally conjure all sorts of aches and pains and be googling this and that!! I was crampy last night after DTD and was convinced yip this is me ovulating I can feel it! When In reality it was prob nothing!
It’s defo hard for you cause your cycle Is all over the place, do you think the testing and stressing impacted on things?
I want to say I won’t.... tbh I’m trying to not even see the date my af is due so I’m just winging it..... Although the thought is crossing my mine, this is really early for my o as typically I had a 32 day cycle..... so... what if I had the LH surge but no o? Should I continue with the opk to make sure? 🤣🤣🤣 xx

Hey ladies! 😊 I’m also TTC #3 and this is cycle #5 for us. I’m 37 and have 2 DS aged 13 and 11, from previous relationship. This will be my DP first! I’m on CD10 so coming into my FW and going to try to BD a lot more leading up to it, and not just around ovulation. 🙈 I’ve been pretty relaxed up until last month when I decided the vitamins and pre-seed need to be ordered to help in a panic. DP laughed when I handed him the lube and he read the back of it. Good job he’s easy going as I’ve got him on all sorts. 🤣 I fell pregnant 1st month with both of my DS’s but obviously I’m older and with a new DP so feel in uncharted waters! 😬 It’s scary and also exciting as I’m worried about age affecting things, but have to remind myself that 37 isn’t ancient, I’m pretty healthy and to relax. X

Hi @Nats7504 your in same boat as me with a new DP! It’s so unknown! My DP and his ex did manage to get pregnant but unfortunately she miscarriaged. Which is never nice but at the back of my head I’m thinking well his sperm must be ok 🙈 I feel terrible even thinking it!! Are you tracking? Have you been on the pill or anything? Xx

@Springflower3 It is isn’t it?! I feel like a FTM who has never tried to conceive before. My other 2 came without any effort. My body is making me work for it this time 🤣 Aww, that’s sad but as you say it’s a positive that he’s got swimmers that know what to do! My DP has never got anyone pregnant before 🙈 so we’re hoping his are working and not swimming in circles and my eggs haven’t curdled with age 🤣 I had my coil taken out in October last year after being in 5 years. Periods returned but a little irregular, between 21-28 days. That said the past few months they’ve been 26/27/28 days so that’s better than 21! I’ve been tracking for my own peace of mind that I’m actually ovulating and had positive OPK around CD11-13. It’s a minefield and trying not to stress too much. How old are you and your DC? Xx

I’ve noticed this month I have potentially ovulated earlier than I thought? I conceived my daughter by surprise!! She is 9 and my son is 3... took about 4 months with him! I tracked a bit then with cb digital but it is too expensive! So I just use the easy@home strips! I’ve also bought OvuSense which was like 80 quid! But the first time I used it I got thrush so I’m just starting to use it now again so I won’t get much information from it this cycle! Xx

@Springflower3 They certainly do, take a while to get out your system. Have you had your first period yet? With me not having a period for 5 years I kind of expected it to take a while to settle down. Why do you think you’ve ovulated earlier? I’ve never taken notice of the ‘signs’ but now I know them I have no idea how I missed them before! I use the ones from Home Bargain as the CB ones are so expensive and after spending a small fortune on vitamins I couldn’t justify it. I haven’t heard of Ovusense but sounds expensive! Xx

@Springflower3 omg u sound like me! U will drive yourself crazy. I did opks one month for the whole month because of the same reason 🤣 it consumes you. I'm sure that was your peak xx
