Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

@Nats7504 oh that was lucky that it only took one month with both of yours! But like you say new partner is it his first then? Surely then if your body knows what it's doing it should get quicker every time 🤣🤞🤞 haha we can wish. Yes I had horrible sickness with mine aswell. My youngest was up most of last night and I'm knackered 🙈 questioning if this baby thing is doable. Why would I want to go back to sleep deprivation 🤦🤦 getting to old for that 🤣 xx

@Springflower3 was wondering were u had gone 🤣 haha i hope they do too. I wasn't even on the pill or anything to mess them up. I'm sure they weren't this erratic before ttc 🤦 wow u had good pregnancies and births how lucky 🤞🤞 I'm petrified of doing it again after my last one. Haha just relax yes as if its that easy 🙊 well if your sure your ovulation is in that window then yes it's a good plan u should be covered and less stress for you 🤞 xx

🤣🤣🤣 things were a bit tense in our house last night.... @Skl2021 and tbh ttc was the last thing on our minds!! It was a stupid argument and I’m not even sure what the reason was 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️
Aww you will be grand, at least you know what to expect! That’s the good thing about it not being your first! Would you have tracked your cycles as much before ttc?
Well that’s the thing I’m not hundred percent sure.... like I could end up having a longer cycle..... my opk is the same as yest but that’s to be expected as I am only cd7 🤣🤣 could be another 7 days before my peak! Xx

@Skl2021 Got to love a good old reality check! Better this morning? My youngest sleepwalks and it’s hard to settle him as you’re not meant to wake them up. It’s a treat 🤣
Sickness is the worst, I’m not looking forward to that at all. Or the labour to be fair. I’ll just skip to the baby in my arms bit please!
@Springflower3 Wow, they sounds short and sweet labours. Mine were 24 and 12 hours, maybe the next will be 6?! 🙈
Aww, sorry to hear that you and DP are knocking heads. TTC is so tough. Maybe the every other day thing will be a good thing? You can pick up subtle signs when it’s coming with CM and all that. Xx

@Springflower3 aww hope use are ok now 💙 it is stressful. Maybe take the odd one to give u an idea that's what I did?

Aye he doesn’t get that us women have more to think about when ttc! But we have agreed no tracking this month..... so no checking my apps to see what cd I am nothing! So I am going in blind......... xx

@springflower3 oh wow nothing will u be able to handle that? 🤣 Would stress me right out thinking I'm missing something 🤦 no he wasn't I'll just gets like cramps pins and needles in his legs and just cries all night on n off. He's fine again now xx

@Skl2021 I don’t know 🙈🙈 like we have agreed to sex every other night starting from the weekend for 2 weeks... which I know sounds like hard work but even if it is every 3rd night I think we will be covered.... well I’m hoping so! But I won’t know when my period is due so I will just have to wait and wait......

@Springflower3 so does that mean no early testing either? Wel u won't know what dpo you are 🙈🙊 I love the idea just can't do it 🤣 yes I was thinking that or bad circulation just happens every now and then 😞 xx

@Springflower3 You’re going full ‘relaxed’ even I don’t think I could do that and I’m lax when it comes to them 🤣 Maybe you could sneak them in so you know you’re on the right track and not tell him?
Mine thinks there’s something wrong with him and want to go to the dr 🙄 I had my 2nd vaccine today so at least that’s out the way xx

@Nats7504 yes good plan I would have to sneak some 🤦 can't give up full control. @Springflower3 if u manage it your a stronger woman than me 🤣 @Nats7504 my oh was like that with my first child constantly blamed himself and thought it must be a problem with him but more people ttc take 6-12 months. I had me 2nd on Sunday so glad it's all done now. X

@Skl2021 I couldn’t give up control either, you just need to be more sneaky. My DP didn’t know when I was using them, only when I told him I was ovulating. God that sounds so romantic! 🙈
He thinks cause I fell pregnant quickly with the boys that it’s got to be him. Told him that was 12 years ago and I’m older and fatter these days 🤣 xx

@Nats7504 oh god id love to be back the same size as I was with my first 🤦 now I only have to look at food 🤔 haha romance goes out the window when ttc. When are you going to start testing? X

@Skl2021 I haven’t started yet! I am not sure if I can completely give up but at the same time maybe for a month or so not tracking will help me not be so consumed by it? I am not entirely convinced though 🤣🤣🤣

@Springflower3 give it a shot and if u can't do it then sneak the odd one 🙊 isn't going to harm and u still won't be too consumed! Not in until Saturday again. But we have people leaving work in the next week or so and until now havent took anyone else on so I might be working all the days to cover and I bet that's right when ovulation will be and IL be too knackered to DTD 🙈🤦 just wish it would hurry up xx

Romance is dead when TTC, it becomes so clinical regardless of how we try to not make it that way 🤣
I’m CD3 so won’t be testing for another week, I ovulate around CD12-14. I’ll let you both know when I start!!!
@Springflower3 He’s keen which is why it’s getting harder to hide our disappointment every month. Our time will come! All of ours will xx

@Skl2021 I most likely will.... like even if I see it getting darker I think that would satisfy me! I have a en-suite in my office so I can easily sneak in there and do it 🤣🤣🤣

Awww I want chocolate now! I’ve lost 5 stone since January 20 so I have to try and maintain it!! I suppose I kinda hoped that with losing the weight it will help with ttc! I was heavier when I ttc with my son!! Xx

Hi all I’m not even sure if this is the right thread so apologies if I’m in the wrong place. Me and my partner have been trying ( in a relaxed way) for maybe 2 years but taking it more seriously in the last few months, I bought ovulation test strips but during my last cycle they were all negative and I doing something wrong or am I just not ovulating any more? I’m 37 Si was hoping I had a few more years left in my tubes😳... any tips or help would be great fully received

When you say they were negative? Like did they get darker at all? There are apps you can down load which can help you identify your peak etc I use Premom which is good! Have you got pics from your last cycle? Is this your first time ttc? Xx

No it’s my 3rd child and we’ve having unprotected sex for 2 years but just looking at my cycle on my iPhone and trying to work out from there when is best..... the ovulation tests just didn’t show a second line at all apart from once which was still quite faint compared to the other one. My period is due over the wknd and I get quite anxious around now hoping it doesn't come. I had an early miscarriage a few months back 9/10 weeks so I always think Wel somethings still working but nothing since then. I’ve bought pregnacare folic acid tablets hoping they help too

@Springflower3 yes just seeing it go darker u will know your in the right week 🤞usally 7-4 but will have to juggle it round the kids. It's just the being on your feet all day that gets me 🤦 need to get back into the swing of it then IL be alright. Wow well done on the weight loss I could do with loosing alot but no matter what I try my body just won't loose it soo frustrating 😤 xx

@Ibbleobbleblackbobble did you take ovulation tests for the whole month? Is there a chance u missed the ovulation window? X
