Trying for baby number 3

Hi mummies

I'm in month two now of ttc my baby number 3, I know it's not been long but I'm nearly 30 and I'm worried that i won't be able to get pregnant again ☹️ did anyone else feel like this? I went through the whole tww last month and this month I'm trying to be a bit more casual about it as I STRESSED last month ridiculously. I hated trying to track ovulation and dpo it was alstreful absolutely expensive with pregnancy tests I got a bit obbsesed! Any support would be lovely

I'm a housewife who currently has my two children already 7 year old girl and 9 year old boy, I am so desperate now for a baby though it's giving me anxiety the thought of not being able to have another xxx

Is your AF finished @Skl2021? I dunno I just have this overwhelming feeling that it not going to happen for me and DP..... like it is so much down to luck really? Like I don’t want my life to be consumed each month with the different stages etc of ttc! I’m having a wobble today I think xx

@Springflower3 yes finished Friday. I always want sex after my af has finished and it's so annoying as why can't I feel like this around ovulation 🤦 I thought u want it more around ovulation and meant to feel great it's the opposite for me 🤣 yes I have wobbles aswell. At the start I thought it would happen straight away now I'm coming round to thinking it will take ages like my first. Like u say its pure luck. Think it's only around 20% chance each month anyway. Yes I feel the same always wishing the month away to get to the next point then you have wasted most the year 🤦 I can't just switch off and try without trying if u get me I'm so consumed with my cycle 🙈 xx

@Skl2021 have you started to test yet?
Lol I think it is because you have like 5 day break then your really wanting it but then by the time your fertile your not as excited 🤣🤣🤣
I know, I think was talking to my friend yest and her saying she was going to try for another baby soon and I’m thinking she will be pregnant before I am!!! The rationale side of me is thinking it has only been one cycles and with my second it took 5 cycles 🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️
We need to get the positive vibes back!! New cycle n all that!! Im CD 6 so going by last month I will be in my fertile window by this time next week 😳😳 xx

@Springflower3 yes of course I did 🤣 couldn't wait. Faint line wasn't expecting anything anyway 🤦 just wanted to poas!! Yes usually happens quick for everyone else 🙄 you have only just started though so keep positive. My first took around ten months 😩 so I'm half way there 🙈🤞 My fertile week could be anytime according to my body 🤣 are you ready to get busy 🙊🎉 xx

@Skl2021 not going to lie I poas with smu! It’s was darker than I expected? So I’m like wtaf! Defo far off positive though! So that would be in line with me having a peak around CD14! Let’s hope you don’t have to wait 10 months this time!! Am I ready? I don’t know.... are you going to smep this time?? Would you buy the preseed to?

@Springflower3 yes mine seem darker than normal but never tried them this early so might just be like that until ovulation. No don't think I'm going to do anything like that don't think I would keep it up 🙈🤣 xx

Hope you all had a nice weekend. Mine was chilled but still feel shattered! AF came full flow yesterday so on CD2 today... here’s hoping cycle 7 is my lucky one. 🙌

I am also ttc baby number 3. I have 2 sons age 2 and 4. I have an 17 month gap between them and would have liked another baby with a similar gap but due to a health issue which needed surgery (now resolved thankfully) I wasn’t able to ttc until now.

Hoping it won’t take long. I was quite anxious to conceive ds1 and was proper intensive ttc 😂 which took 5 months. Ds2 i just came off the pill and he happened almost immediately. Will see this time!

Had a strong line on ovulation test yesterday and pretty sure I’m ovulating today as I have some right hand side ov pain. Dtd last night and day before so fingers crossed.

@MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat ah I had positive ovulation Saturday, mine 3.5 and almost 6 (in a few days). 2.5 year age gap and I wanted a bigger gap this time.
Took me 7 months with DD1 and then 5 months with DS1. Hoping to fall much quicker this time as I'm due to be a bridesmaid in July next year and really don't want to be huge and uncomfortable 🥵- I've been a bridesmaid 8.5 months pregnant in august and it was hard work!

@MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat hii ☺️ mine are 7+5 and hoping it happens soon as the age gap is getting big 😩 should of started alot sooner. Is this your first month ttc #3? Good luck now your entering the dreaded tww 🙈🤞🤞 do you test early or wait? Xx

@Skl2021 it’s my third month ttc technically but the first month I’ve been tracking and actively ‘trying’ I had a steroid injection in my back a couple of months ago which has really messed up my cycle hopefully that will settle down soon.

I usually end up testing a little early just with the cheap strips as I’m impatient! With both my boys I had a positive test a couple of days before my period was due. I have a weird cycle normally anyway. I don’t ovulate until day 22/23 of my cycle then have a 7-8 day luteal phase. It doesn’t seem to have stopped me conceiving in the past though.

Fingers crossed for all of us and hope we aren’t waiting too long!

@Skl2021 I’ve had my little wobble of whether I’ve left it too late but it’s only been 6 months so gave myself a little slap 👋 🤣

@MarmaladeToastAndAMarmaladeCat ohh we love early testing 🤞🤞🙊 Not long until u test then. I always thought short LP caused problems. I normally don't ovulate until around then aswell but my lp has been around 11 days.
@Nats7504 what's the plan this month? What u trying? I don't know what plan of action to take 🤣🤦 xx

@Skl2021 I’m not sure I could SMEP it again and not get a BFP at the end of it, but feel I need to give it a shot 😂 Got to be in it to win it. I don’t think DP will be so keen on the lube again so would need to sneak it in so he doesn’t know. Although I’m sure he’ll guess when I’m ready for business before I’ve even got into bed 🙈 🤣

@Nats7504 yes IV tried it too but it takes alot of effort. Don't know if I'm ready for it again but if it works then it's worth it 🤦 haha no the lube didnt sound too good 🙈 but u need to get your moneys worth 🤣🤣 no my cycle was 31 days. It's just my ovulation is always in the 20s so my lp is only 10-12 days. My cycle length from when I started tracking has gone 49,38,28,31. So still all over the place 🤣🙈 xx

@Skl2021 I couldn’t do it months on end. If it doesn’t work this month we’ll have to concentrate on the important days, as like you said it’s hard to keep up. There’s still loads of it left and isn’t cheap. I’ll use it out of principle 🤣
They are a little all over the place but starting to shorten? Has your ovulation day changed with your cycles? Xx

@Nats7504 🤣 isn't ttc so sexy 🙈🙄 the things we try 🙊 my ovulation days were 22,17,25 so God knows this month. I don't know if that's hindering me or making it harder as it's later than normal xx

@Skl2021 it is isn’t it?! Especially when the novelty has worn off and you just want to be pregnant!!

@Nats7504 haha I want to be pregnant but not physically 🤣🙈 I hate it especially how uncomfortable u get 🤦 cant remeber with my first if they were all over but we did try for ages so maybe they were. And my second I didn't track or anything just tried for one month and happened 🙈 if only it was that easy xx

@ I can’t remember much of being pregnant with the boys, apart from the awful sickness. Long time a go now!
Ahh, they say that fall pregnant with your second quicker as your body knows what to do. I fell first month with both of them which is why I’m being precious with it taking longer this time. But older and new partner.
It’s reassuring that your ovulating and your periods are settling. Xx

@Skl2021lets hope your cycles settle down! That’s exhausting trying to figure all out... like I understand why you need to track!

I hear you about the pregnancy thing, it’s all great seeing the line show up but then you have to actually be pregnant for 9 months! Thankfully both mine have been straight forward! Then labour.... I’m even luckier... both of my labour from start to finish are about 4 hours!

DP told me last night I need to relax or it’s not going to happen.... ffs yes it is that easy!! So I’m just gonna dtd every other day for a week starting from Friday and then maybe I will relax as I won’t know when I ovulated...... is this a stupid idea? Xx
