Hi ladies Has anyone tried the sperm meets egg plan? I downloaded the free ebook earlier on amazon & Im going to give it a go this coming month! Anyone want to join? 💁🏻‍♀️ I'm month 4 ttc.

I'm 36, TTC #1, using one of those fertility monitors from Clear Blue as well and actually got pregnant the first cycle active trying. Ended up being a chemical unfortunately. Tried the next cycle with no luck, and then took a break last month from all of it. Was nice to have a normal cycle for a change.
I just read about SMEP and thought I want to try that for that month. But I screwed it up a bit. I hope that doesn't matter in the end... We DTD on day 8+9 and will do again 11, 13 should be ovulation if the cycle is regular. from then on at least two days in a row and a day after (having my brother's kids overnight will interrupt our plans quickly on day 15 ;)). What do you guys think? Still kinda in the correct order?

Sorry to hear of your loss!

But sound right what you are doing with SMEP (but I’m no expert. First month trying this method)
From what I understand you start dtd on CD8 and do the dtd every other day until your positive opk/ovulation day. Then do it for two or three nights straight miss a day then one more time.
Starting doing opks CD10

I’ve done CD9, 11 and then 15. (Hubby wasn’t well in between). On CD16 and got a positive opk so going to try just do 4 days in a row to try cover all bases!

Yeah, for me it won't be 8 / 10 / 12 / 14/15/16 but more like 8 / 9 / 11 / 13/14 / 16/17. Or so. But I feel like it's very close :)

@Poppet2021 yeh once the line is as dark or darker than the control line it's positive. Then ovulation happens 12-48 hours later. Some say 12-72 hours. Everyone js different i guess! I suppose that's what SMEP is trying to do with the 3 days, wait 1, then one more....that's 5 days....120 hours. So covering all the bases I guess!

No I still haven't gotten my positive opk. I usually get it day 17. I'm day 16 now. I'm doing the wait before the TWW 😅

Hi @Bundaberg84 🙌 yeh that looks fine to me. I think the idea is to break the habit of focusing too much on ovulation day etc and to make sure u start early! So I don't think it matters if it's alternate days once the pattern is right 👌😁 best of luck!

I’m on CD16
Very very dark positive on opk. As dark as control line within one minute

Ah I’m CD16 today too!! I forgot we are exact cycle day buddies!
My opk was as dark as the control within a minute. So we will dtd tonight, and the next three nights for sure. We are going to try next 4 nights. All the way up until Friday. Let’s see if we can manage it!

Still no peak for me :(
I've worn my Ava bracelet for 5 days now and it's calculated my peak to be day 19 which is the end of this week so hopefully I can get some rest from SMEP soon 😬😬😬
The lines seem to be all over the place though 

Welcome @Bundaberg84! I'm using the clear blue monitor too! How's it going for you? So far I've had 10 high days and still waiting for my peak 😬😬

I’m on CD17 today got really dark positive opk yday and today. So going to try dtd until Friday then rest! And sleep early!! Haha

Hey @Elsbeth1 is it your first month with the monitor? It took me 15 sticks or so until I got the peak, it felt like ages! But from the next month won it was10 sticks as advertised.
Actually I got pregnant the first cycle using the monitor! Unfortunately ended in a chemical, but ut clearly works ;) good luck! Xx

Yeah its my first month with the monitor I've been "high" since day one so annoying 😬Do you start testing later with month 2 then?
Did you just DTD on all the high and peak days on your first cycle?

@Elsbeth1 I'm good thanks! I was sad of course but I made my peace with it. At least I know technically it 'worked'. It just wasn't meant to be.
We DTD two days before peak, on the first day of the peak and two days after.
Yes, for me it's now cycle day 9 to start testing as day 18 is usually my peak. That way you won't miss an early ovulation.

@Poppet2021 I got my peak on CB today! I had an almost positive OPK lastnight (0.82) but I expect really dark peak OPK today as CB is now showing peak. We start our 3+1 in a row today. But as you say we may try keep it going 4-5 days. See how we go!

Is anyone here taking proceive max? My cycle is different this month. It's weird. I think today is LH peak. It's day 19. Usually always day 17. I think it's affected my cycle in a good way. TMI but there's no need for grapefruit juice in my house 😅😅😅 if this is my month Im crediting it

The only thing I’m doing different this month is using preseed.
What does procieve max do? increase CM?

I’m CD 19 today. Going to dtd tonight and tomorrow then a break.... am tiredddd!

@Poppet2021 yeh I have preseed too, literally don't need it 😂 I didn't know proceive max was meant to increase cm but it has dramatically and over an extended period of time. It's just a really comprehensive prenatal supplement. I'll be going tonight, Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. I could take a break Sunday as that's the "1 day break". I'm delayed about 2 days this cycle and it's down to the proceive max I'd say. It means we've been doing every day for longer as I thought I would ovulate 2 days ago!

I have my peak today! Dtd yesterday and today, planning on tomorrow and then Monday. Sunday will probably not be possible as we have all 4 kids of my siblings overnight and the whole Sunday. But I think it will be fine either way?

I peaked on Monday and Tuesday. Dtd since Sunday and will continue until Friday night then have a biggg break! Haha

I have a question for your guys particularly @Bundaberg84 who's been using the clear blue monitor as the helpline isn't open until Monday 😬😬😬

So today I do the pee stick in the morning and insert into the monitor.. after the 5 min wait I take it out and it says invalid test test again 😡

Since I pee on the stick instead of into a cup I wait another 3 hours and try again (didn't eat or drink) this time it works and it says "high" for the 14th day in a row but the line on the pee stick looks completely different to the other days (picture attached)

I took the invalid pee stick out the bin and there's also a very clear left line which I've never had before

Do you think this should have been my peak and the monitor is just faulty?

My Ava bracelet says I should be ovulating today too (picture attached) and I do feel different the last few days - CM (I think) and pangs in stomach and more hungry
