Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

So yesterday I posted that I'd got a faint line on my IC maybe like 30 mins after I did the test. This morning decided to do a FRER but it's bfn 😢 feeling quite deflated and like that should show something if my IC line was genuine yesterday. I'm 12 dpo

If you think implantation was yesterday you may have another 4 or 5 days before HCG high enough to detect so you're not out yet @DOB78

@MessyBob89 did you POAS again this morning? I wouldnt count yesterday if it was over the time limit just incase it was an evap and gets your hope up too much but crossing everything that you get something today 🤞

Good for you just going for it @Sunbird24, fingers crossed now is your time. The donor sounds great, I love that you get to see photos of him at various points so you could almost have a glimpse into the future into what your child may look like 😍

@dob78 don't blame yourself you can do everything 100% right and the chances of it happening each month are still low regardless of what you do, cant remember the exact stats but I'm sure it was as low as 25% chance each month or something like that despite you ticking all the boxes. Sending big hugs and you're not out yet, hoping that AF doesn't arrive and you've a wee jellybean just getting snuggled in there.

I'm joining the POAS corner of shame which is surprising as you all know poas is the last thing I want to do given my history of none of them sticking. But I weighed myself this morning and I'd lost 4lb 🥳 Now I'm one of those ones that needs to work my ass off clean eating and exercise just to lose 1lb a week so to drop 4 on a week where I wasn't particularly trying hard rang alarm bells as any other time I've been pregnant I've lost unexpected weight before it. So POAS and it was a bfn, counted my dates back and realised I'm only around 7dpo so what a waste of a stick it was hardly going to be anything other than a bfn that early 🙈😂 Anyways I'm not going to question it I'm just going to be happy I lost 4lb and wait for the highly likely late period without poas so it doesn't count as another CP while celebrating being 4lb without effort this week 😉

@Juno231 love that fencing we've bought something very similar, when we moved in there was chicken wire fencing because apparently OAPs like to be able to all see one another in their gardens so the privacy now is great, they however now hate us because we've "ruined their view" yes into OUR garden! I like gardening but DH is a landscaper so I don't get a look in, I can't complain!

@DOB78 sorry on the BFN, like @Sausage1990 said though that wouldn't be long enough to start producing HCG so I wouldn't say you're out.

Getting my first acupuncture session set up today, I am so stressed this week so hopefully she can fit me in soon and it will help 🤞🏼

@larrythelizard don't give up hope yet!! I had cramping at 6dpo and a temp dip...and I had a bfn at 8 and 9dpo didn't I, and then last night's bfp...so a good 4 days after the cramping.... give it time! 🤞🤞🤞

@MessyBob89 sometimes you do get indent lines on the ics- I've had one before. I've literally never had a pink second like in my life but I've had some funny ics.

I'm actually wondering if I should go poas now as I know I'll get a second line, having taken the trigger shot the other day. It might be the only time I ever see one. 🤣

Yes poas with FRER and negative - though I feel I can see the slightest shadow of a line but don't know if my mind playing tricks on me!

Yeah, I feel like I've seen shadows on ic perhaps because of an indent but this is quite a distinct pink line (albeit a bit outside the reading window!

I feel like I can see the slightest of shadows on this morning's FRER (can't get it to show on a picture though). However I'm 12 dpo and af due tomorrow. Could I still be in? Or in everyone's experience would the FRER show a positive by now?

I didn't know whether to? I need to see how many ics I've got actually, to see if I've enough to do it. When would you start? 7dpo? I dunno if to do that or just be patient and wait 2 weeks.

@Minster2012 yes two things seemed to massively improve hubby’s sperm, he had antibiotics for an infection that was picked up on a sperm culture and future you tomato pills! We have had 3 mc in a row and I was constantly told it was my poor eggs...no one ever did any tests on hubby, until we went private. Not saying it wasn’t my poor eggs but there is more and more evidence to say mc can be linked to poor quality sperm as well, so good to get him sorted.

Update from me - had a scan (all ok at that point 8+6) had booking yesterday, and epu today as need to argue my case for more clexane...tbh I will go mental if they say no...so paranoid they will want to scan, and I can’t just deal with scans on the hoof so to speak...so progress steady but still anxiety sky high!

Anyway sorry for long message just haven’t been on for a while xx

Phew! I find it so hard to keep up with this thread and I'm really trying to follow everyone's journey! Hopefully I'll get a chance to eventually learn where you all are!

Anyone on progesterone have any anecdotes on how their RHR has been impacted by it? I don't want to read into anything while on medication!

@MessyBob89 I had a fairly strong frer line at 12dpo but think I implanted at 6dpo, so it does depend! 🤞

@DKDK123 well done on the 4lb, definitely be pleased with that! I really feel like my bfp was because I'd lost around 10lb over the previous few weeks, maybe not even the weight loss but the fact I was making healthier choices and exercising xx

@franklydear I'd have well sneaked off to do a test whilst OH was out. Mine hasn't even bothered to ask what's going on, he's done his bit so 🤷

@DOB78 I am feeling doubtful too, but I am late and no af symptoms, feeling pretty normal and boobs less sore too, but getting tearful at metal not great, in my defense is the unforgiven II, Metallica's very sad song

Hi everyone. Decided to stop being the creepy woman just watching everyone from the back of the bus and introduce myself.

I did join in a bus about 6 months ago but they move so fast I couldn't keep up.

We've now been trying for our third and final for around 2 years, after conceiving our first two within a few months this has been a surprise. We have accepted it may not happen, and won't be taking interventions if it doesn't, but still hoping it does. Some time in the next 6 months would be nice as a 10 year age gap eldest to youngest is my mental limit.
