Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

A cottage at the seaside you say @Minster2012? I'm desperate to get to Cornwall but too far for a long weekend and don't have the annual leave for a full week (saving a couple of weeks in the hope of a road trip to France later in the year!)

Hi ladies. So finally this feels like a normal period. No spotting, med-heavy flow. No "light" days. I'm on day 2 with the usual cramps which I wasnt getting there for ages. I was getting 2 days spotting, 1 day light, 1 med, another light then gone. No cramps. So fingers crossed this is progress. I'll be watching over the next 2 wks but prob wont post much. Bank holiday wkend and I'm gona enjoy that. Fw the following wkend so will DTD plenty lol. Wishing u all luck and hope to bfp from some of u beautiful people x have a nice wkend

Currently playing a gambling game with the weather, hung my washing out this morning and now it's gone grey and dark. Do I leave or put in the dryer.... Hmmm

@bez91 I'm sorry to hear about the sinusitis, I used to suffer a lot with that although my neurologist reckons they were migraines all along. I had acupuncture in my face once for it, and I spent Christmas week that year with a green bruise on either side of my nose. It looked like a fungus or moss was growing on my face. I hope that doesn't happen to you!

@InkyPaper you poor thing - that sounds exhausting for you at the moment. Your holiday sounds lovely though. I can't wait until we can plan things here. Hopefully things will be open here in June or July.

@Franklydear your hair sounds amazing. Mine is thin and fine and falls out and regrows constantly due to my thyroid acting the maggot.

So today I went to see my endocrinologist. I thought it would be about my thyroid but she seemed mainly interested in my PCOS which was good as it was the first time I saw a doctor who seemed to know what they were talking about.

She has doubled my metformin dosage (I just took a double dose after my lunch and I have an important work zoom meeting at 2pm so pray that I don't shit myself because it gives me awful tummy issues when I increase the dose! I should have waited til this evening but she told me it could increase my chances of ovulation by 40% if I doubled it so I wasn't going to be hanging around).

She recommended tubal studies and told me to get prolactin and progesterone tested this month (will have to google prolactin - I have no idea what it is).

She said I was basically pissing into the wind trying to conceive whilst the thyroid was batshit at the end of last year, so DH said we should just think of it as we've only been trying since January, when my thyroid numbers became normal again. So that is helpful to me, though I'm not sure why. Makes me feel more hopeful.

So it was a positive enough appointment. Hopefully it will happen for us soon.

Have I lost the plot? I’ve been waiting the last 2 days for AF to show. Because I’ve had cramps and been exhausted and decided to test cause I have ic’s to spare. Am I seeing things?

@notyetamumbuttrying we were NPNP in February and officially started trying in March. I’ve been my usual exhausted before AF and I’ve had cramps on and off since yesterday. I only tested because i had spares and AF is late ish because I’m very very regular. I’ve BFN up to Wednesday and I gave up for this month. Mad dash to Amazon now.
