Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Omg I'm glad it's not just me that feels like it's been forever @paintfairy! I looked on the calendar this morn and I started injections on the 1st April. At least it'll be the last on Saturday...few more days 🙏 I love your testing early idea. Gutted you got robbed of the two lines. I really wanted to test daily after transfer but my OH is making me not and stick to the OTD just keep the mindset that it's worked. I saw someone do it on Instagram. The stuck their IC's to a pad with what day it was post transfer and you saw it go from positive to negative and back to positive.

@notyetamumbuttrying lying about the wee could have gone badly 😅. It's not unusual to have a full bladder but not be able to wee after a GA and they need to put a catheter in then to prevent kidney damage 🙊. I couldn't have fibbed anyway as they made me wee in a bed pan so they could measure it 🤣. The flood gates ended up opening at 2230 last night and then I was up to wee at midnight, 1am and 2am annoyingly!

Got home at around 9am this morning and feel a million times better just by virtue of not having the dizziness, tiredness and nausea. I'm very bloated from the gas though and quite sore so def on bed rest for now.

@paintfairy yeah basically it doesn't explain anything but at least I won't have to wonder about the endo anymore. Sorry about the single line but I can't wait for you to get a bfp next week 😁

@Minster2012 the more I think about it the more I'm sure the consultant was still thinking about the other patient when she said to get the ball rolling for ivf but tbh I see her next in June so that's only a month before their 2 year mark so I'll try and hold her to it then anyway!

@MoominC lovely to see you here! How long have you been trying for? I feel like the US person could have taken the dildo cam out whilst the computer was rebooting??

We've been trying for around 4 months now. Had a MC 2 years ago after trying for a year and needed a break, then covid hit and had a few losses in the family so only just getting back to it How about you?

@Juno231 yeah at least you won't be left wondering. Frustrating though. And yeah right! 🤣
@MoominC yeah I'd have expected them to take it out too! Last time I went it was still in the 'wash' and she was like- oh it'll be a bit warm. 🙄 yeah great.

@juno231 glad you managed to pee!! Took me a good 7 hours after my op and it was almost catheter time. Rest up, keep some heat on your shoulder and try and walk about a bit if you can - helps to shift the gas. Xx

@paintfairy I did expect her to take it out at the time to be honest yet it stayed in lol. I don't know if she was just surprised and didn't know what to do or it was just in the right place. Luckily i'm quite chilled out and could laugh about the whole thing If it had just come out the wash at least you know it was definitely clean lol and I think I would prefer warm to cold x

@bez91 was definitely an experience 🤣 sinusitis is awful. I used to get it a lot when I was younger. I ended up having my sinuses drained and it's much less frequent now. Maybe something to look into if your having it so regularly

Oh I do have a ridiculous update! Went for my 7po blood test today. No one appeared to be waiting yet it took an age. Finally got in the room (hospital) and there were only 2 young girls working. Obviously I got the useless one. 🙄 So firstly she couldn't find on the computer what it was. She had to ask the other girl. Then she faffs for forever and finally starts doing what she needs to. Starts tapping for a vein (the other girl had someone come in to do after I went in, sorted him, and he'd now left, that's how long this took) and must have been tapping for like 3 minutes. No one ever struggles to get blood from me usually. In fact I think I could have done it myself. Then she sticks it in (I'm now not looking) and I'm thinking you are dragging it about whilst filling up this tube and it's hurting. Again seemed like forever. When then it transpired she hadn't even got it in a vein! So I've no idea what she was doing. 🙄 She then took it out and taped it up. And said to the other girl- you'll have to do this one (like I was awkward?). So she said OK. Then had to sort out her ppe. I was like ffs. Anyway she came and did it from the other arm (because the first was now taped up) and did it first try, with no bother. I mean honestly? 🤷‍♀️

Question for bbt people - I got my peak LH first thing yesterday and bbt was 36.21c, this morning my bbt was 36.92 but I did wear socks to bed. Have I already ovulated 😱😱😱 and if so I am now so worried that I have missed the boat as we only 🍆 on Sun and yesterday so far this week 😭😭😭

I also think I am having ovulation pain this morning but did get a bit on Tuesday night and last night.

I think temping might have stressed me out 😂
