Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Oh and we like an embarrassing story to get your ticket for entry please!

And if you see mention of my blog then blame these guys they made me do it...#shamelessplug

@DOB78 a cuski is his comforter, he's had them since birth, luckily we have a few & different colours & he's not precious

@DOB78 every other day DTD would be fine, did you decide on OPKs or not? You could try the SMEP like @Haiyaa says but there are plenty of ppl we've had who have got pregnant from just a few times 🤞🏻

@Juno231 ahhhh yes hopefully the Lap went well sorry to have forgotten 😘🤦🏼‍♀️hope it went well, hugs

@Billythecat those kittens are seriously cute! And definitely not out yet then if you don't know when OV was, also that's great on the referral, def steps in a forward direction are to be celebrated 🙌🏻

@notyetamumbuttrying he is funny, not so funny when I was on hands and knees doing the floor & he was trying to jump on me and "ride my back" like "horsey horsey horsey" 🤔😂

@Franklydear yessssssssssss that's amazing well done you've done it!! Hope you celebrated well with the Mac Donald's honestly you've done brilliant by pushing that 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🤗🤗

@MessyBob89 damn it sorry bout AF, prob was a CP then. I heard good things bout the yam root & considered it but it's def good to chill on things too, I say that but I did bone of the chilling and was shoving a cup up my foof!

@ArrrMeHearties you should also drink wine & eat raw steak whilst you can too, I did 🤣😂

@Tornado2Inc thank you hun, reassuring to hear similar with your "dad"!! 🤣I'm so hoping it's all ok. I didn't buy any more tests today, tried to forget about it. The floor helped 🤣you have my wine yeah?

@InkyPaper can't believe there's no where to do it that's terrible, and CD51? Bloody twatface. I'm stepping away from the tests, trying to channel a mixture of "it's ok" and "what will be will be"🤞🏻

@Dollybird89 still here?!! Fuck off flo! You enjoy that wine, have a glug for me! I love your video!

@2alreadywantanother yes that def means you've ovulated! Let's hope everything's worked that quickly 🤞🏻🤞🏻

Well I am relaxing now, Watered my new plants I bought to try look funky! Last time I got some for my birthday I killed them pretty quick, let's hope they last til viewings 🤣

I shall do a picture tomorrow when they are up? Are there any planty people?!

OP posts:
paintfairy · 27/04/2021 20:43

@2020mission phew! 🤣

Madeoftea · 27/04/2021 20:45

I really can't keep up with how fast you ladies are 🙈

@Minster2012 I hope you're doing okay my lovely. I have no plant advice unless you want the quickest way to kill them.

@Franklydear that's great news!

I'm on CD31 now and unsure if I did ovulate on day 27 or not because I have no usual symptoms but definitely got my peak on opks. I don't really know what to expect, it's just frustrating because my cycles were like clockwork before my mc and I knew where I stood with them. Fingers crossed that next cycle is back to normal (or preferably af doesn't show up at all!) but I'm not having much luck so far this year.

I know you have to have been trying for a year before doctors will do any tests and I fell right before we hit that mark. Is it now another year from this point or is it worth giving the gp a call?

bez91 · 27/04/2021 20:50

Yes @Minster2012 step away from the tests, all is good, take it a day at a time!

@Madeoftea I'm just just under the year mark and had losses over the past year and the GP has seen me. To be fair the one that instigated it all was a junior doctor so maybe they ballsed up and I got lucky but definitely a year I think no matter the circumstances so give them a call 😊

Madeoftea · 27/04/2021 20:59

Thanks @bez91 I hope that a year is the case no matter what. I think I'll wait until af arrives and then it gives me something to take control of and feel like I'm taking some steps. I'm sorry about your losses, I hope you're doing ok.

Minster2012 · 27/04/2021 21:03

@Madeoftea thank you, I've got ice cream & decaf now 🤣def call the gp again, at least ask for the day 21 bloods (or after you ovulate) but def call them

@bez91 I'm trying 🤞🏻😫

OP posts:
Dollybird89 · 27/04/2021 21:03

@minster2012 yup day 25 of AF.. costs me a fortune in products! I'm glugging the wine back just for you 🤣

InkyPaper · 27/04/2021 21:24

@Dollybird89 day 25!! Oh bless ya. That's the worst. Hope it goes away soon ❤️

@Minster2012 right?! I don't know what people are supposed to do if they don't live within an hour of the hospital. You can't even park at the damned hospital because the parking situation there is ridiculous - last time I went, I drove round the hospital in a big loop, had to kick DH out the car at a bus stop (literally the only scrap of space available to pull in) and then he dived in when I was waiting at traffic lights (yes, a large chunk of the hospital is also full of roadworks). Dreading going back but at least we didn't have to wait too long for it to come round again. Def take a pic of your plants! 😄

@Madeoftea give the GP a call. The worst they can say is "come back later" (which is annoying but then at least you know)

Juno231 · 27/04/2021 21:38

@2020mission @notyetamumbuttrying @paintfairy @Minster2012 @Kirky658 I'm alive, don't worry 😅. I am however still in hospital and feeling like absolute shit. I haven't passed the pee test yet to be discharged! I've had like 6 litres of water since waking up but none of it makes its way to the bladder for some reason. Instead it keeps filling my stomach up and I cascade vomit (through nose and all) regularly 😅. So I'm so so knackered, nauseous (despite anti nausea stuff injected in my cannula) etc - on top of the fact I had three new holes added to my body today and had endometriosis burnt off! Apparently it was relatively mild (surgery still took 1h 15 min instead of the 20-30 min if there had been no problems) but was on my left ovary.

Couple of things - consultant actually told me I had no endo and that they'd damaged my cervix was in there - only to come back 10 min later to say she got me mixed up with another patient!!

Secondly - she said that she doesn't want me to wait until the two year mark but can get the ball rolling on ivf funding now. Now the thing is.. When she said it she said "due to my age"... So do we think she still had me mixed up with someone else at that point? 😅

@Minster2012 I'm so sorry for the floor, that would drive me bananas!

@Franklydear congratulations!!!

Sorry for not replying to a whole bunch of other stuff but I'm about to zonk out from exhaustion 🙊.

DOB78 · 27/04/2021 21:43

@Juno231 goodness me what a day you've had!!! Hope you're feeling better soon and manage to get some pee out. Maybe when you wake up you'll see a Dr that actually knows what's going on🤦‍♀️

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/04/2021 21:43

@Juno231 I lied and said I peed so that I could be let out! Managed to pee before bed in the end, so it can take a while. So you did have endo then? How strange they got you mixed up! How old are you again? You're younger than me from memory. I'm 35. Hope the sickness eases soon! ♥️♥️

DOB78 · 27/04/2021 21:48

@Dollybird89 Dear Lord, I struggle to deal with my 4-5days of AF, drink all the wine!!! Do you usually have af for this long? Sorry if that's a personal question.

Franklydear · 27/04/2021 21:49

@Juno231 yes, you’re alive, hope you get some actual info
Thank you everybody, I am going to be going on about it for some time, and will resume answering everything other than hail Mary’s soon😂

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/04/2021 21:49

@2020mission good memory! I was on all bloody day and then back on afterwards too to update you all 😂 glad you're alright. I'm alright too. Expecting peak on cb tomorrow so gotta gear myself up for some more sex! Did it on Sunday and I was so nervous, it was like I was a teen again 😆
@Franklydear yay to the school place at a good school! Happy for you and ds!
@Minster2012 haha that does sound funny though 😂

kaylsd · 27/04/2021 21:50

@InkyPaper

Hello lovelies, feel like I do nothing but apologise for disappearing these days 🙈 work is absolutely kicking my arse but hopefully it should ease up by the end of the week. I mean, it'd better because I'm so tired 😂

Not much to report. AF still hasn't shown up, currently on CD51, got my second blood test on Friday so probably a good thing AF hasn't shown up. DH has booked his repeat SA for next week but he can't do it on site and there is literally nowhere in or around the hospital where it can be done so that'll be another mad dash to get there 😩

@Minster2012 the biggest of hugs for you ♥️♥️ your poor floor! Looked like you'd done a cracking job fixing it, couldn't see the prints in that second photo. I'll echo what the others said: put the Clear blue out of your mind, all it's doing is telling you you're pregnant ♥️♥️♥️

@Franklydear whooooooooooop!!! 🙌🙌🙌🙌 Congratulations on getting the school place!!

@Billythecat your cats are adorable 😍 glad your GP was on it, good that they're going to refer you. Sorry about the BFN ❤️ but like you said, you might not be out yet. Hope you feel better soon

@Justanothercyster hope the move is going OK!

@InkyPaper I can share your pain there lovely with the long cycle.. CD 65 for me... day five of northisterone to restart the cycle, I'm such a snappy cow at the moment 😣 my fermometer keeps trying to tell me to Bob my period day in.. if only it was that simple! I feel so sorry about your partner having nowhere to safely do SA it's unfair really, my hub has his first SA booked in for 2 week time but the hospital is 45 minutes away so they've booked him a private room onsite, unsure if this will consist of well worn mags with a lonely squeaky chair in a random room but I'm sure he'll let me know afterwards😂🙈

Anybody who's partners that has had their SA done as part of fertility investigation for first time through NHS, how long does it take for the sample to come back? Just so I know how long to leave it before I pester GP for our referral

notyetamumbuttrying · 27/04/2021 21:52

@kaylsd two weeks is the standard turnaround which is ridic considering they do it there and then!

DOB78 · 27/04/2021 21:56

@Minster2012 aaahhh that's so cute my 21yr old has a Teddy from birth it needs binning but she won't part with the smelly thing. I'm glad you've managed to get the floor sorted out and without spending a fortune.
Honestly I don't know what we're going to do been arguing the last few days so not sure how things are going to work out.
If we carry on I think I'll stick with OPKs but drop some of the vitamins. I need to chill out about it all and focus on the positive things I do have.
Where's @Sausage1990 with her wonderful zen pep talks😀.

Dollybird89 · 27/04/2021 22:13

@dob78 it's becoming the new norm it seems. After I had implant out I went 11 months with nothing then normal periods on mini pill then stopped pill after just 4 months and ad a few normal cycles and a mc.. since then u had 1 normal cycle of 36 days then had a 112 day cycle with a 2 week period.. last one was similar length with a 5 week period. And Drs Said they can't do anything else until I see clinic ... now that appointment just got cancelled and back on wait list 😭. I try not to dwell on it too much or I get really down as there's not much I can do tbh

Katoo · 27/04/2021 22:18

Oh gosh @Juno231 that sounds really rough, especially as you didn't have symptoms. I partly want to push for a lap, partly want to do the whole head in the sand thing. Hope you feel better and get out soon or is it likely to be overnight now so?

DOB78 · 27/04/2021 22:26

@Dollybird89 I'm sorry for asking, it sounds awful and like you arent getting much support. I wish there was some brilliant advice or something I could share that would help but I don't know what to say. I really hope you're able to get some answers soon

Minster2012 · 27/04/2021 22:26

@Dollybird89 def need all the wine!! Including my share (I miss wine 🤣) I'm with @DOB78 I hate my periods so you are amazing to cope with the weeks on end

@InkyPaper well on one of the bbc iplayer programmes I saw about sperm donors they had a couple drive to outside their sperm dobros house, as they couldn't get hold of him after peak fertility & they were like "quick we need to inseminate MY EGG IS DYING IN 1 HOUR!" It was quite hilarious, he came out his house, gave them a pot & they literally drove round the corner & squirted it in one of them in the car then had legs up for 30mins! So is he gonna wank in the car??? Needs must n all

@Juno231 you are alive and vomiting, all good signs of recovery 🤣hmmm case 1 of mistaken identity wasn't great but if she gets you the referral & funding quicker then I'd take mistaken identity number 2! 🙌🏻🤞🏻

@kaylsd we didn't have SA on nhs but ours took a week to get back to the hospital. Oh we often tell Femometer to fuck off!

@DOB78 yes I think we will have to wrestle his cuski's off him but now he's started to carry around a Pooh bear & his other bear too in a whole entourage...he says "grey bear is pooh bear's dad" everything has a mummy daddy & baby if it's large vs small. 🙄I think that sounds like a good plan, I mean nhs only say you need to take folic acid

OP posts:
2020mission · 27/04/2021 22:31

Aww @Juno231 sorry you've been stuck in being sick and not able to pee. I'm sure you will manage to pee soon and get home to rest. Ahh bloody nhs mixing up patients again 🙄 but good to hear a bit of endometriosis was found and cleared and you're on to a faster route to IVF, sounds like it will have been worth it! Hope you're feeling better soon.

Franklydear · 28/04/2021 06:33

Morning all, I’ll take away your hopes @Minster2012, much like @DOB78s, ds still has his tiny elephant baby blanket, I have sew his ear back sooo many times, we managed to find an exact one, so it is now his companion🤦🏼‍♀️ but at least, it doesn’t travel anymore (read won’t get lost in a hotel, forgotten at grandparents....)

Franklydear · 28/04/2021 06:35

Bloody mn doesn’t let me bookmark!

Justanothercyster · 28/04/2021 06:46

@Juno231 ahh I hope you manage to pee and can go home soon, what a day!

@kaylsd my dh's SA took 2 weeks to get back to us

@Dollybird89 I'm so sorry about the cancellations, it's such a ballache for you. Did they explain why? I know covid but loads of places seem to be up and running as normal again so it seems very frustrating. Keep positive like you're doing, all you can do x
