Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@Minster2012 I know it's hard not to freak out but pregnancy tests are tests that you are pregnant not how pregnant you are. You've got this. We're all here to offload to if that helps at all (with other stuff too) x

@MessyBob89 so sorry for the tests, but agree it could be a chemical? In January I had a really faint line at 11dpo then got my period 2 days late and it was so heavy,

Thank you ladies, just a bit of a shitty day, we had our wooden floors resanded and Restained last week before the house sale (and just for us if we didn't sell as it needed it), pretty expensive, and yesterday was cleaning (it says don't clean for a week) and paw prints from the dogs coming in through the patio door and all across the living room wouldn't come off. (our only door to our garden) turns out we treated the lawn last week & the dogs walking on it has actually burnt into the wood/stain and the guy said it's like an acid burn & the only way to fix it is to redo the ENTIRE floor at our cost.

So it's fucked a few days after we did it so nicely again

I've spent the whole morning cleaning other areas & trying things Cos DH says we can't pay again. I'm so upset.

HOWEVER I think I've just found something that works and so I'm sat cross legged ignoring DS and doing tiny little circles on every bit to try fix it. see before and after

I have wrongly ordered the sticks for that twice (instead of the smaller wand like one I actually have) and I opened one of the boxes before I realised the issue so can't return the open box!

I'm sorry I'm not being very active at the minute but could I ask about OPKs. I used them this month but I'm not really sure what I was doing. I got a smiley face 11th and 12th CD9 and 10. Does this mean I possibly ovulated on 13th or sooner? I'm a bit confused......I just looking for reasons we're not pregnant this month coz I like to torture myself

Sorry you're having a tough time @dob78. I don't really trust the opks a lot. I used the advanced clear blue according to the instructions last month. Went from a blank to static smiley. But based on my usual LP I think the static smiley was wrong-it was too early. So didn't use them this month.

You're having a time of it too @Minster2012. Try not focus on the tests. The IC is very strong and really the cb tests are dodgy if you ask me! Flipping dogs...lucky they are cute 😋

Nothing happening here. Supposedly in the tww but considering we dtd twice & not tracking using opks I'm not holding out any hope. Have my scan coming up soon before iui. I had a dream last nt I got a bfp so left the stick on dh's pillow as a surprise (eeew) but he stayed up all night playing poker (which he doesn't play!) So he didn't see it & I was fuming with him the next day! Bonkers 🤣

Doctor phoned me back and basically said there is nothing they can do as period could technically still come yet. She booked me in for thyroid tests and to see how things go in the next few weeks regarding MIA AF. I've never been as late before unless pregnant but I guess will have to see how things pan out

OMG @MartyMcShy that dream tho 🤣🤣🤣🤣 did you wake up fuming at him for real? Because that’s what I tend to do when DH has misbehaved in my dreams (and not in the fun way 🍆) poor sod 😂 .

No point saying not to worry @Minster2012 as you will regardless as we all do but if it is making you very anxious could you ask the GP to do some HCG bloods? Or will you have an early scan? My GP told me to let them know asap if I get pregnant again but not sure what they will do about it so I will probably ask for bloods.

@DOB78 with OPK it can really vary, some people ovulate straight away when surge starts whilst others take a couple of days. I think they quote 12-36 hours usually but that will also depend on whether you caught the beginning of the surge or the end. I think the answer is generally 🍆🍆🍆 as much as poss before, during and one or two for luck afterwards.

Exciting update I hope. Morning OPK still trash but at lunchtime I had a nice huuuuuuuge blob of EWCM which looking at the last couple of cycles seems to happen 2-3 days before ov for me. CD21 following mc and beginning to lose hope but fingers crossed I will at least get a chance to try this month.

@MartyMcShy thanks for your response. That is early for me but had other signs of O too so trusted it, maybe LH surge happened but no egg released. I'd started taking CoQ10, Vitex and Folate so I've messed things up for myself. I was so convinced this was a good month. Sorry again for going on looking for answers I'll probably never find😒

Do you mean a static or a flashy smiley face @DOB78? I think they say ovulation is 24-48 hours after the static smiley. Interestingly the dr I saw said luteal phase should be counted from the positive OPK and not when an app assumes ovulation.

Given that there's only a 25% chance or something like that of getting pregnant each cycle @DOB78 then I think there's little point torturing yourself wondering why when the odds are stacked against us.

Haha @MartyMcShy that's a funny dream. Mind you, I had a sex dream about Prince William recently and I do not find him attractive AT ALL. I fear very much what it might mean about me!!

@larrythelizard thanks for responding it was a static smiley for 2 days. I know our chances are so small each month even less at my age I was just so convinced we'd got it right. Maybe working night messed things up. I seem to get pregnant when I take nothing but multi vits and omega 3 but they don't stick. AF arrived CD 25 so they're getting shorter.
@Minster2012 what's a cuski? Sorry you're having a shit time. You can book a private scan from 6 weeks if you can't wait till 8

@Haiyaa thanks for your response this is where we fail epically OH doesn't want sex as much as I do at the best of times and it's a bit of a chore for him I think. I'll have to try and explain we're gonna have to try every day or at least every other day if I decide we try again. I've always been stubborn and don't want to quit but jeez this is hard.

Thanks @DOB78, have you looked at the SMEP? It’s exhausting but I think the only way that I felt really “covered”. It’s way more sex than DH and I would normally be up for but “it was agreed” so we did it and actually I was more up for it as time went on. It’s just usually stressful work situations and a toddler get the better of us. Obviously we are going to solve that by having another child... 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣
