Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

Hey everyone, finally caught up! So nice to see some more BFPs 🥰

I'm feeling a lot better emotionally this week, still struggling some days with bubba suffering with reflux and tummy troubles and not being able to help him but I know logically it's just his little body getting used to this new world of processing milk. He's 6 weeks old on Monday!

I know you now have your sidecar bus but any of you BFPs please do join our fb group if you would like to, or when you feel ready. It's just a small group of those of us from this bus. Some of us have now had our babies, some due imminently and some due later on in the year so a nice mix! @paintfairy I'm with @Crazydoglady123 I'd take the progesterone, it used to have to be 50 before egg transfer in our ivf now it's 30 (which is normal ovulation level" so my thinking is if you have a bit more it's not going to hurt you as they used to give more

@Sunbird24 oh shit that's annoying, yes you def need to speak to them, we had to do a test 3 weeks after MMC anyway, have you had a negative test before? God it messes so much, we are here for you

@Crazydoglady123 I think I used to cry at vampire diaries to be fair! But yeah you can definitely tell when it's worse than normal. My nipples have been hurting from ovulation so I'm assuming it was the drugs before or the trigger. Its really annoying. Like tooth ache. So I keep poking them. As you do......
@Minster2012 crappy progesterone. I'll start it tonight. But last night I woke at 12 with hot feet. I call it that but I don't think they are hot as such, its a sensation. I used to get it on the pop pill and also in my lp when I was first off the pill. It's awful. So I definitely have my own progesterone there! Taking more is not going to be fun at all. DH said if this is what it's going to be like, I'll have to sleep in another room. 😱 That's supportive was my reply. 🤣
@Sunbird24 oh that doesn't sound good. Yes it looks like you will have to. How frustrating.

@paintfairy that's great you've got your own too, I'm afraid DH & I did sleep apart last year after I got pregnant & was still having to take the progesterone as I was waking up wide awake and hot at about 2/3am and not being able to go back to sleep & DH works with & tows heavy machinery so I was disturbing him too much 😬it's really horrible stuff but I think it affects diff ppl differently, my friend said she was fine on it but on the ivf threads a lot of ppl get similar symptoms.

Here’s a background about me: 27; wife from a covid wedding setup in November (was the best day ever as i had 3 wedding dates in total last year and it was planned in 24 hour to beat the 3rd lock down coming in) having the Receiption this year hopefully when it’s safer! nurse & dog mama to a miniature labradoodle who’s my fur child🦁

TTC first child for both of us 8 month with no luck, contraception for 12 years and coming off the pill led to irregular periods & long cycles (worst being 77 days!) these have been a painnnn😩 doctors wouldn’t touch me for investigation as it’s not been a year, so I paid for a private USS both abdo and transverse and behold my ovaries indicated PCOS, fed this info back to doctors and now they are taking me seriously and now investigating myself & hubs. Currently on northisterone for 10 days to induce period for day 1-3 (as I was lectured as to why this hasn't been done yet and I was like I don't bleed regularly to make this test accurate 🧐🧐🧐 currently cycle day 63😂😂) progesterone check as my other bloods also indicate hormonal imbalances (LH was 14.4 FSH 4.3) and my hubs picks up his package from the drs Monday for a SA then when everything’s back they are referring us in for specialist support whether it’s Gynae or fertility I’m unsure as of yet! I use OPK & BBT however I don't find them useful for me as my irregular cycles are just up and down, I can have signs that my body tries to ovulate but just fails, bless my little non compliant ovaries 🤦🏼‍♀️ I do try to stay positive about the situation as it's out of my hands, I just hope with maybe a little bit of support from science or medicine I may be able to get my BFP one day 🤞🏻

@kaylsd welcome! Lovely dog ☺️ I'd been on the pill for 4 years and came off June 2019 after my wedding, started 'properly' trying in Spring 2020 but my cycles were really irregular (32-60 days). I had blood tests in September and OPKs showed ovulation on day16 which was far earlier than normal, and I got my bfp that month.
Point of my story is that it seemed to take over a year to get a more 'normal' ovulation time, I'd lost 10lb in the run up too (still obese) and DTD as soon as I had ewcm rather than wait for OPKs too xx

I'm 40 🙈 ttc number 3, my youngest is 10. Had mmc last sept 😭💔 its not being easy. But I'm still here after a few bumps. Stopped tracking bbt and opks and sleeping way better. Trying the "more chilled" approach now. Anyway, welcome xx

@2020mission that was November, so much for the most people fall again within 6 months, at least I'll have frers at home for the next wobble

@Franklydear Yeah I don't know why they say that, it took me 10 months from the last chemical to catch again! It really seems to be absolute luck. Good to have those FRERs ready for next time

Dh is at work, so I texted him to say af arrived, just got the reply, in full :’ok’. this is the point of the cycle where he is quite rubbish....

Welcome @kaylsd! Super cute doggo! I also have ovaries that fail to work but my cycles are still 27-35 days, I just don't ovulate! I'm also in the "unsure" bracket of PCOS. I was diagnosed years ago but recently my fertility consultant thought I didn't have it but I have false LH surges so can't use OPKs but I'm actually on my first IVF cycle currently. Like you my LH:FSH ratio was similar. Have you tried any inositol supplements like MyOva?

@paintfairy just make sure you're poking them in your house, not out in public 🤣🤣 but yep I know what you mean, like a bruise! My tummy is getting bruised and sore now. I walked downstairs with the washing basket and it pressed against where I've been injecting and was like uh ouch! Counted up I've done 30 injections so far now!

Vag scan this morning, sonography was FIT 😍 He couldn't see anything that was a problem but I've apparently a tilted womb so really had to press down on my stomach to get things so he could see, that along with covid vaccine yesterday and I'm feeling a bit delicate, DH hasn't asked how it's gone yet 🙄 going to tell him a really fit bloke stuck a dildo up me when he least expects it that'll get his attention

@bez91 do tell him, a fit bloke makes it easier, so the conclusion is all good?
