Well that was an ovulation tea party to remember! 💃🏼🥑🍍🥗🌮

Thanks for turning up you lovely lot and so Welcome back on board the bus where our route now takes us through the POAS early corner of shame to the “I’m gonna wait until AF is late this time” and then stopping at the fertility clinic to drop off a bunch of giggling girls going to get their foof felt up by a load of nurses and hopefully get impregnated by them! 🤞🏻

This bus is the one where TTC happens in many different forms, shagging conventionally, unconventionally, with the help of scientific intervention, IUI/ICSI/Clomid/IVF & even just watching from the top of the bus 👀. It doesn’t matter if you’ve been trying for days, weeks, months or like some of us we’ve been around each other for so long we can’t bear to leave, nothing is TMI and there’s never a silly question...

Hell we KNOW TTC is tough, lots of us have had heart ache & are chasing 🌈so we are there for each other, as well as trying to have laughs along the way 🥰☺️

@Dollybird89 it's literally 16 degrees in Kent! So warm! Poor dogs can't handle the heat bless them! I put ice cubes in my dogs bowl of water to cool him down lol

@minster2012 oh I am. Started them yesterday. Read really good things online about people ttc for ages and falling pregnant after starting them. Could be coincidence but heres hoping.
Just hoping my bloods confirm I'm ovulating 🙏

@Crazydoglady123 I am a no fuss get on with it person too. I think that's the issue? And I found injections easy. Like you say- its the effects they have, as opposed to the physically doing it! Mine are less than yours so I can't imagine how you must feel. But I've been emotional some days. Yesterday I was just really tired. They warn you it's an empirical emotional rollercoaster but you just can't really prepare?

I honestly don't think it's that hot here? There's a decent wind. Its warm but I wouldn't say hot.

That's crap @Crazydoglady123 I do like @minster2012 idea of just booking a 3 day spa and saying bye bye but it's difficult given the currently climate! I hope he bucks his ideas up 💕

On my low progesterone and oestrogen... appointment still another 2 weeks away with GP but wondering if anyone could enlighten me as what to expect that may have had similar? Will it be a referral straight to fertility or is the GP likely to prescribe me anything or just repeat bloods? I'm anticipating a referral which will be a long wait so if I know what to expect it may inform our decision a little better on whether to go for some private investigations 🤔

Hi *@VikingsandDragons* I've just joined too and also finding it a tad bit hard to keep up. Sorry to hear of your struggles, I can't imagine how difficult it must feel knowing your body can get pregnant but it's just not happening anymore. I've just resigned myself to the fact my body is incapable of making a baby, I've never even seen a hint of a line so I've asked DH if we can adopt lots of cats instead and live our childless lives as crazy cat people 😹😹😹 recently adopted a kitten as an emotional support animal and she's kept the tears at bay for sure!

Keep strong! Have you been to see a fertility specialist? Not sure if you can be seen on the NHS as you already kids but might be worth going private?

2 cats and a dog here in the last 2 years, I'm sure a psychiatrist would have a field day!

No, decided against seeing a specialist, we are very lucky to have the two we have and while we would love the final piece to our family, I'm actually kind of accepting at this point that maybe it won't happen again, I do have significant endo and I was told after the first pregnancy it was a miracle I'd fallen pregnant naturally, but not to expect it to happen again.

Really sorry to hear that it's not happening for you either, have you been trying long?

After my random 4lb drop this morn I just got a letter through the door from the fertility clinic for another appointment. I have no idea what it's for I wasn't expecting another appointment she just said give me a phone when you lose weight, I can't even remember how much she said I had to lose ......oh dear better get my finger out shift a few more before then, now I'm definitely very glad for that 4lb drop today 😂

Ladies, I've been silly. I've felt down this month after no ovulation at normal time and my cycles being messed up after my mc that I haven't wanted to DTD and I've been a right miserable cow. I'd written this month off but I've just done my first opk for days and it's high! If we DTD today do you think there's still a chance? Kicking myself now.

Get on it @Madeoftea! The peak just means your body is gearing up to ovulate not that it already has, it's typically 24-48hours after the peak you ovulate so definitely still in with a shot get those swimmers in you 🙂

@bez91 what a beautiful garden. I can't wait to have one whenever I finally get a house. All I have is a little balcony at the moment and it's not in the sun except for early morning 😅 should be motivation for me to wake up earlier.

@Juno231 I'm not even surprised they screwed up 😑 but glad you got the bloods sorted on time! You must be looking forward to Tuesday night once it's all out of the way and you'll have more answers and possibly anything troublesome cleared and some time to rest.

I have the opposite problem to @Madeoftea! This can’t really be a 4 day peak can it? My first negative HPT was 19 Apr so I shouldn’t be ovulating for at least a week or two - could this be trace HCG it’s picking up instead of LH? Anyone know?

Doesn’t make a huge amount of difference as I can’t do my next FET until after I’ve had a period, and if I choose to have my embryos genetically tested it’ll be even longer, but this is really confusing me.

@Minster2012 thank you. If I didn't have to isolate then I would be booking a spa day that's for sure! I'd love to say I can't believe that with your OH but I can...men can just be so rubbish sometimes. Just makes me feel like I'm doing this by myself at times.

Exactly @paintfairy! Being a get on with it person comes back to bite you at times like this! I got so upset with him earlier and he was like there's no need to cry about it and I'm like your so dumb as to how the meds are making me feel. How are you feeling now?

@VikingsandDragons Cuuute! What are your pets like? I have two rabbits with completely opposite personalities and then my cat is so chill and nonchalant about a lot of things. Yesterday, she was laying down grooming herself while I had her legs lifted up brushing the underside side of her lower body.

If a 3rd doesn't come along, at least you know you tried your hardest and it just wasn't meant to be. I think I want 3 kids too but I'm worried it'll be a hard journey getting there. Not sure I can take the mental stress. You definitely beat the odds having a second child with your endo so maybe there's some hope to be gained for the both of us!

If it makes you feel better, there's 10 years between me and my youngest sister and I'm much closer to her than my middle sister.

To me it feels long, but compared to your 2 years, my 7 months (8 cycles) is nothing! I'm 28 so if it does come to it, I'll be able to get IVF on the NHS in good time. I'm currently on progesterone pessaries that I was prescribed by a private consultant, I'm hoping they work, although DH does have low sperm count so I'm not expecting much.

@paintfairy @Crazydoglady123 it is the most mental emotionally rollercoaster ever it's totally mentally exhausting & if your OH says it's just hormones he can be pumped full of rage inducing pre menstral hormones for weeks 🙄😬honestly

@bez91 def the gp can provide progesterone and maybe the estrogen too so if you are ovulating they might do that

@Sunbird24 OPKs def can pick up hcg so I'd do a test to rule it out and potentially the peak last I guess as I got ewcm 2 days after my static smiley so I think that's when I actually ovulated

@Crazydoglady123 the get on with it def bites us on the ass Cos that's how I am and then ppl just assume "you are fine" when actually you could be clinging on by a thread 😬

That's good to know gp can prescribe progesterone. When my results are in I'll be hounding her lol

@Crazydoglady123 I have nearly randomly cried 3 times in the last 2 days. Last night whilst eating tea i had some zoo programme on (just flick junk on really) and they were going to put a tapir down. I had to frantically turn over. I was like I can't even watch this. I actually was telling DH earlier about how IVF meds are worse and explaining your situation with your DH etc. He just stared at me blankly. 🤣 I honestly think they don't get it. But mine has fixed the bath plug today which I've been moaning about for weeks, so he's trying. In his own strange way. I suppose luckily my meds are short lived compared to yours. Its really not pleasant having no control over how you feel. Oh and I've got trapped wind! 🙄

Actually- I've not started taking my progesterone yet. I wanted to make sure I definitely wasn't starting it too early. No spotting yet. The question is- do I wait and see if it starts and then use it, or just use it anyway? My reasons being 1) it makes me feel like shit and 2) I'm intrigued to see if i spot with a stimulated ovulation? (So crappy egg quality causing it usually). Thoughts? 🤔

@DOB78 I know what you mean about knowing, I was sure I wasn't pregnant every other month apart from this one so really got me when AF rocked up.

I'm one with DH who listens but doesn't really ask much.

Inconclusive, we saw a line, dh saw it too, but horizontal instead of vertical did anybody ever had that?, very faint, so I’ll try again tomorrow
