@MgW1ive felt imbalanced since mc too.
just had bloods done again, so waiting for lh/fsh and oestrogen

ImpatientTTCer · 29/04/2021 15:10

@Misty84 14?! That makes me feel better 😂 What are you taking?

@Noodella18 oh noooooooo! (But it did make me giggle....my bank account understands the pain!) good thinking to save the next one for Saturday. I’m sorry that you’ve been feeling crap, hopefully you’ll be pregnant after all and then you won’t mind quite so much!(?) Do you normally feel like that before a period?

ImpatientTTCer · 29/04/2021 15:12

@gigchic Congratulations!! How exciting!

AnxiousWannabe · 29/04/2021 16:53

Ladies it's me again. I spoke to my GP who went - oh I'm not gonna do anything you just have to wait for af to arrive.

That being said the evil blinking smiley is back! I am late by 10 days and I'm not sure of my body clock knows that lol. How accurate is the CB advanced huh

Geriatric1234 · 29/04/2021 16:53

@gigchic YAAAAAYYYYYYYY!!!!! Star

AnxiousWannabe · 29/04/2021 16:55

And I tried searching - if the follicles failed to release the egg last cycle - would my cheeky ovaries try to release the same eggs these cycle ? Or a diff squad will be lined up ? One would have thought with the advancement in medical tech etc we'd know the answer but no lol

KatRee · 29/04/2021 17:14

Aaaagh- I can't keep up with this thread!

Congratulations @gigchic! Such exciting news! Hoping for a happy and healthy 9 months for you!

🤞for BFPs for the rest of us soon x

got2be · 29/04/2021 17:44

@AnxiousWannabe
Do you chart? As mine shows when my body has attempted ov as I get dips.
Medichecks do a hcg home blood test. So maybe If ov does not show or gp remains unhelpful you could order one and see if anything shows.

gigchic · 29/04/2021 17:45

Thanks everyone. Keeping everything crossed for more bfps here soon! Now the stress of ttc is over I'm beginning the stress of trying to stay pregnant! 😂🤦‍♀️.

thislittlebird · 29/04/2021 17:53

@Noodella18 yeah I would definitely just ignore your bbt, day 21 or 22 will be more accurate.

@gigchic congrats 🥳!

@Misty84 soooo my PALS complaint worked. I’m kicking myself for not doing it sooner. The hospital called my husband (no idea why not me lol) today and said they’ve changed our appointment from May 17th to May 6th and instead of seeing gynaecology we’re seeing the fertility department at another hospital for diagnostics. So I guess that’s good? Not sure what a diagnostics stage means but I assume some tests and they said on the phone to him that seeing gynaecology isn’t necessary so I’m hoping this will speed things up.

Malbals · 29/04/2021 17:57

I’m just coming up to 39 and thinking about ttc again! Anyone else?

Misty84 · 29/04/2021 18:14

@thislittlebird I told you to complain weeks ago!! 😛 It definitely gets things moving! Glad you’re on the right path now :)

thislittlebird · 29/04/2021 18:38

@Misty84 I knooooowwww 😭. Kicking myself. I’m an idiot and I spent more time fretting about it than I should have and could have been seen already I bet. Ah well, it’s done now. I just hope it’s a good appointment.

What appointments did you have by the way? I am wondering what stage this diagnostics one is, is that what you had first of all? When did they speak to you about IVF?

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 19:51

@ElsieG3m it's very frustrating but not much I can do! You could try a laptop tray that would at least move it away a little. Is it the clearblue digital advance ones? If so don't pay any attention to the lines as they measure Lh and oestrogen

@MgW1 yes I had progesterone tested on day21 and it was 60.5 so pretty high! I've got an appointment on Tuesday to speak to gp about endo and if I get nowhere may then look at private tests but as I've found out amh and afc only really count when it comes to ivf and we probably won't be doing that I may just have to hope the gp or gynaecology referral check me out for endo or something!

@Noodella18 the opk only give you an indication in rise it's the bbt that confirms it, mine is really confused this month I've really got no idea what dpo I am 😂

@ImpatientTTCer me and my oh have pill boxes too 😂

On the suppliments issue - I take them all 😂 and they've not changed my ovulation at all cycles been more regular the last few months too!

@Geriatric1234 good luck in the tww 🤞🏻 I have a Heinz 57 from Greece who's a lovely little thing and a mental husky 😂

@gigchic congratulations! Hoping for your sticky little bean!

@Malbals hi, I am 42 and ttc no3 but no1 with oh

ElsieG3m · 29/04/2021 20:27

@MgW1 I'm so sorry for your losses. And I'm not surprised it's affected you - fertility is the hardest thing in the world. How old are your other children? Was your last birth uncomplicated? I had a severe infection during my previous labour post-partem and was treated with antibiotics during that time. Have wondered if it could have caused scarring. Have you had any tests?
Xx

ElsieG3m · 29/04/2021 20:30

@Marvellouslymadmum yep! CB digital thingy. First month I've used it. Husband thinks I need to throw everything away but I'm too much of a control freak.

ElsieG3m · 29/04/2021 20:38

Meant to ask - has anyone who already has children had problems with incontinence post-birth? Random question but my bladder prolapsed during labour with daughter and I've wondered if pelvic floor dysfunction could harm fertility chances? I haven't read anything online but just wondered if anyone had experienced it.

LizzieLou86 · 29/04/2021 20:51

Hi ladies, hope you don’t mind me joining?

I’m 35 ttc#1 for 10 months. Had a CP back in Feb at 4 weeks... cycles have been a bit haywire since! Usually 27 days, but now currently on CD30 - BFN plus had progesterone tests done this month and showed low levels/no ovulation. Not sure what’s going on with my body right now, although the gp is convinced I just need to give it more time. Keep fluctuating between being calmly positive that this is all going to work out soon, to feeling like this is never going to happen! Who knew TTC was so hard?! I had no idea! Heart goes out to everyone else on this journey ❤️

Congrats to all the BFPs I’ve seen on this thread! Fingers crossed for many more to come x

charja100 · 29/04/2021 21:33

How is everyone doing?

Welcome to the new ladies on the thread 💕 I've been a bit quiet as I'm just trying to sit out this TWW.

Is anyone else at the same stage and fancy keeping me company? Starting to lose my mind and still have ages to wait 😫

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 21:34

@ElsieG3m yes with those you definitely don't look at the lines, I haven't had any incontinance issues though my sister did after her first and she went on to have three others after

Hi @LizzieLou86 sorry for your loss, unfortunately it can take a while for your body to get back in gear again afterwards, maybe ask your gp if they will do progesterone next month to see if things are improving? It may be that you've ovulated late and that's why the progesterone was low

Marvellouslymadmum · 29/04/2021 21:35

@charja100 I'm in the tww too, not entirely sure of ov day this month but somewhere between 4-7dpo lol

charja100 · 29/04/2021 21:43

@Marvellouslymadmum I think our cycles are in sync this month. I'm also somewhere between 4-10DPO. My app currently says 6DPO based on my BBT results, but the apps moved the date three times this month and I'm on cycle 1 of TTC so who really knows 😂

ElsieG3m · 29/04/2021 21:53

@Marvellouslymadmum thanks lovely. Who knew?! Are you supposed to dtd when you see the surge or on day of Ov.? My GP said not to dtd every fat as it can dilute the sperm but elsewhere I read that it's fine if sperm are healthy. This month we did it day before lh surge and day of ovulation.

charja100 · 29/04/2021 22:01

@ElsieG3m hey 👋 sounds like you covered yourself with DTD you should do it a day or two before and day after. Sperm can live for 3-5 days so it's best to get some in there before LH surge. But all women ovulate at different times from the surge from 12-36 hours so it's good to DTD a day after ovulation too.

ElsieG3m · 29/04/2021 22:03

@charja100 thanks love! I'm so clueless! Xx
