@notyetamumbuttrying ah that's exciting, you'll be ready for transfer when I'm just starting my injections! You'll be way ahead of me as I'll be banking over three cycles as I have very low AMH / low follicle count so I'll be lucky to get one blast per cycle. Hopefully I'll have something to transfer at the end of three cycles 🤞 Yes this will be my first go at ivf.

I'm 8dpo tomorrow. Had a dip in bbt this morning and hoping there is a big jump up tomorrow, because that could be implantation. I'd be stupid to test at 8dpo right. Right?! So tempted just to crack out a frer.

@thislittlebird I think you said a couple of days ago that you had an NHS appointment booked for May and would then look at going private, is that right? I don’t know much about the timings of IVF but I hope by November you’ll have been able to do one cycle 🤞

@spttc I won’t tell you how many pregnancy tests I have hidden away in the bathroom.... 😂🙄 Which fertility tests did you have done?

@stegfletch welcome to the party bus. We all vent daily so let it all out. There's some great women here to support! Let us know the result of the test. I'm mot sure I'm ever going to nail adulting 😂

@ImpatientTTCer I have a stack of pregnancy tests already calling my name in the bathroom cupboard but I'm determined to stick it out until as close to AF as possible!

Are you still taking the vitamins or did you stop? I was worried I wouldn't get a positive LH as my ovulation was getting later and later but I did record a really sting two day LH surge so I don't know if it's the pressure of TTC or the vitamins or both that's thrown my cycle so off this month.

Wedding in June! If we are allowed to get on a plane that is. We postponed from last year to this year so fingers crossed 🤞🏼

@ImpatientTTCer 😂😂😂 well I might have a few cheeky cheap strips knocking around but they don't count! 😅 We haven't had the tests done yet. That's next week. Then a consultation and follow up etc on the 20th. We are just doing the basics Amh, thyroid etc for me (that's the usual right?) and sperm for him. I'm just turned 35 a few days ago, and he's 34 so we are hoping all will be well. If not then we can do more investigating from there. This is going to be our 4th month TTC, so early days but I just wanted to book it, get the ball rolling, discuss options and prices in more detail, get advice etc.

@Misty84 Sorry this was not your lucky cycle- I was full on wishing it would be the one for you. Remember lots of people have successfully after trying for years, whether through sheer persistence, fluke, after a HyCoSy or through IVF, so there is every reason to think it will happen for you too!

@charja100 yay, June is so close!! Not long to wait! Have you planned it abroad, or thinking of the honeymoon? All this travel stuff is so awfully uncertain- extra stress for you on top of everything!

Had you done any OPK tests before starting the vitamins? I’ve kept on with the vitamins (like 10 pills a day, ridiculous!) as I figured it was more important to have all the nutrients, but I’m hoping the effects settle down a bit! Have you kept on with yours?

I don’t know what the usual tests are! I had the AMH blood test and an ultrasound (and blood tests done for measles/mumps antibodies at the GP), and he had a SA.

Fingers crossed everything comes back looking great for you both! In the meantime, keep trying! I can’t talk as this is only our first month, but it seems as though four months would still officially be thought of as a short time to have been trying (remind me of that when I’ve been trying for four months!!!) so you never know, this month could be it! 🤞

@stegfletch hi and welcome, I suspect I have endo and each month is more and more painful but I'm trying to get the doc to agree to refer me when I next speak to her! Hopefully as you managed to have the other two you'll have luck again! Totally agree with @Geriatric1234 we are all here to listen.

@Magnum99 I can't make much sense of the lines to be honest, so I just go by the smiley faces lol

As far as the vits go - I'm taking them all 😂 I don't feel like they've changed my cycle maybe just normalised it a little, seems to me more stable Now which is good, though I'm getting virtually no cm, never got much before but now it's disappeared!

I’m pretty sure I’m out this month. I have that cramp feeling when AF is coming on. Looking at the bright side I can have a couple drinks BH Monday.

Just wondering if anyone has missed period but not pregger here? What do you do then? I have erm light spotting (pinkish blood) only when I went no.2 sorry tmi.

It's just a lot harder to predict my next ovulation and apparently I could only go to the gp if I missed three periods...ugh

@ImpatientTTCer errr yeah I did 🙈 a very predictable bfn but I only used a cheapy strip rather than the frer. Going to do one tomorrow if they arrive in time but more likely on weds at 10dpo, which is I think when I tested positive for my daughter.

@AnxiousWannabe if your ttc over 35 then doctors tend to be a bit more helpful a bit faster. Mine was brilliant. Don't wait to speak to someone. Missing a period isn't right and especially not great when ttc.

In other news I have gone straight from O on Clear blue OPK to static smiley face, and yet again this means I’m ovulating on/around CD10/11. In line with all things TTC related I’d like to ask this very rational question:

Does ovulating this early/surging this fast mean something BAD?

My periods are regular 27/28/29 days each month.

@AnxiousWannabe I never want to mention the dreaded M word, but was your mother late or early? And have you had your progesterone checked? Has this happened before? Xx

@Geriatric1234 I'm so glad you asked! Not because I have the answer (sorry!) but because I have same fear/paranoia. This month I ovulated day 11. Used the advanced CB OPKs for the first time and got only one flashing before static.
So far my googling suggests that sometimes a short follicular phase may mean the egg is a bit under-ripe, but I've found lots of stories of women who say they ovulated day10/11 and had successful pregnancies. Also, I think there are lots of potential ways to lengthen follicular phase if it is a concern.
I'm not sure if short surge is a concern, other than giving you a narrow fertile window. I have pretty much no ewcm though, and I am putting it donen to there not before enough time for the estrogen to cause it to be produced.
I have a private consultation next month and I'm going to ask about this and all my other fears then!

@spttc CD7. Followed instructions based on cycle length.
