@MgW1 and nothing is wrong with asking for help!!!!! I support you fully and hope that this will give you some answers. Mind you, we did the same thing as you and were told to keep trying 🙄 lol
Um, so progesterone didn't have too much impact on me except for some cramping here and there..nothing as strong as my period cramps though. I've also been getting headaches lately so it could be because of progesterone or its the weather, as that's normal for me to get headaches during rainy days. I read some side effects could be irritability, spotting, cramps, headaches, back pain. Basically, pregnancy symptoms 😂 messed up, right? Haha

I think its a postcode lottery with fertility clinics, i have been very fortunate, 9 weeks from referral to initial apt. It will feel like we are getting a step closer 🙏 xx

I'm 7dpo and feeling crap, it feels like I'm fighting off a cold. I had the same with my daughter pre-bfp so I'm hoping it's the same thing (although more likely it's just that I actually am fighting off a cold, caught from said daughter.)

@Kitekat81 when's Ivf starting? Ours begins next month on a long protocol! Waiting to hear from the drugs company tomorrow and should start first set of down reg injections next week!
@Misty84 demoralising is the exact word for it! All feels for nothing when your period just shows up to ruin the party!

@Pamparam congratulations!! I’ll say the same as everyone else....don’t worry about two pints! Some countries even “let” women drink a little bit wine all the way through pregnancy!

@spttc looks as though we might be testing at the same time in a few weeks! I’m on CD3 now, it started late on Saturday night and although I’m happy I can now finally start “trying”, it’s been the heaviest and most painful it’s been for months 😭

Also, I realise this is TMI but has anyone else ever experienced EWCM during their period? It’s like mozzarella cheese on a pizza 😂 It’s never happened to me before and of course like an idiot I went straight to Dr Google who has convinced me I’m now entering early menopause because my estrogen is messed up......I wish I hadn’t looked....

@notyetamumbuttrying ah that's great you are getting started! Wishing you lots of luck! We have our nurse appointment next week and then will start injections on day 2 of next period so that should be around end of May (mild protocol so no down regulation).

Oh @Misty84 it sucks, I’m sorry you’re this far in and it’s his birthday. It’s not fair. My husband’s 40th is in November and we’re booking a place for his family and us to go to for the week. I had this horrible little thought cross my mind which was basically “oh my god it would be so nice if we were pregnant by then” and then I had to stamp that right back down. Can’t be having those kind of thoughts

@thislittlebird it would of course be lovely if you were pregnant by then! But...if you’re not, you can drink alcohol! My wedding is in a few months and I’ve had similar thoughts. Why do our brains do this to us? Don’t be too hard on yourself.

@Kitekat81 thank you, same to you too! Ah ok, so I'll be a bit ahead of you then. Hoping to transfer by 31st May! We'll see how I respond to the drugs and how many embryos we get! Is this your first ivf? It is mine.

@ImpatientTTCer hello! I'm only just 1/2 DPO 😫 so only just starting my TWW - very weird cycle this month as I've ovulated at least a week later than normal and I'm looking like I'll have a 35 day cycle. Which is crazy as my cycles are normally 26/27 days! I'm blaming taking pregnacare conception vitamins. On the plus side we have DTD every other day for weeks since CD6/7. We've basically been at it like rabbits 😜. I have had weird pulling pains and vivid dreams but more likely coincidence as way to early to be a symptom. Trying not to think about it, will be so hard as this weekend we are due to go out for drinks and dinner with friends, normally I would drink ALLLL the wine but I'm not going to be able to am I?!

When is your wedding? (Congratulations!🥂) I'm also getting married in a few months.

@Noodella18 symptoms sound positive especially if you've had them before! Fingers corset for your BFP - keep us updated!

@Pamparam huge congratulations 🎉 two beers will be fine. Please don't stress yourself. The worry will have a bigger impact than the beer! Super happy for you! 💕

@ImpatientTTCer unfortunately I sort of need to be having IVF by then at the very least. I’m 38 next month and we’ve been trying for two years in October. It’s kind of hard to think it still won’t be possible by November.

Hi all, I'm 40 and have a beautiful DS (7) and DD (4). We made the decision 2 years ago that we were complete in our little family and wouldn't try for a third but then... I unexpectedly fell pregnant in October which was an emotional rollercoaster. From being initially terrified then over the moon to then a devastating mc. Now it's opened this whole can of worms and I can't make peace with anything. I'm now 2 days late and terrified to test as I can't face a BFN. I tested at 11dpo and it was stark white. I'm now 14dpo and feel like I'm approaching the end of my TTC journey as I have terrible endo that has resulted in 2 surgeries and I'm wondering what I'm doing as each cycle that I allow myself to ovulate results in awful discomfort. Just finding a forum where I can vent is a huge help. Sigh.

@charja100 oh noooo, so long to wait! Have you hidden all of the pregnancy tests?!

I started taking loads of vitamins (incl Pregnacare) at the beginning of March and my ovulation and periods have both been completely off. I couldn’t get a “positive” LH result at all, even testing 3-4 times a day, although there was a clear surge...suddenly no cervical mucus at all (why??) and late (CD35/36) periods. I’m usually more like 32-33 so it’s not crazily late, but still noticeably late..... silly vitamins!
I’m glad you’ve been enjoying yourselves 😂 I think my fiancé is looking forward to being jumped on a very regular basis! Hahaha

I've started using CB advanced digital tests this month, I've had flashy faces for the last 4 days but just wondering if anyone actually knows what the lines on the strips mean? Fri. Sat & sun I had 2 lines, this morning only 1 line but still a flashy face. I know you're supposed to just go off the digital reading but I can't help but wonder.

@stegfletch Hello! Ohhhh I can relate somewhat! Never wanted children then had pregnancy in November and early MC Xmas day. Was such a shock and I wasn’t prepared but now I’m just confused! At 42 I thought I was all set as a step-mum and auntie but now we are giving it a go for a few months. Such a head f**k!

Take the test tonight. You’re 2 days late, it will show and if it’s a BFN you can get on with a glass of wine and some serious chats here about what you want to do. You know you have a great family unit with or without #3, but life isn’t linear enough for that to draw a line under your TTC journey and everyone here will understand your feelings of confusion.

So take a test and let us know. Good luck and we are here whatever the result.

@Magnum99 👋 I used that last month with opk strips as I wanted to know the answer to that very same question! I got my static smiley on CB digital advanced on the day of first positive opk strip. I peaked the following day. But the static smiley stays on screen for 48 hours for that reason. So I think both CB and OPKs are valid but neither better than the other imo. I attached my chart etc where I logged it all. I put the CB into the FM section of the chart ....H being flashing smiley, P being static smiley, and the opk into the opk section positive or negative. Iv included my opk strips so you can see that too. Hope that helps x

Welcome I know how you feel.
I have 2 ( 6&4) , we unexpectedly got preg in july and it ended in mc and then I have since had another 2. We were going to try for a 3rd this year anyway It just happened earlier than planned. I still havent found peace. Do a test xx

Excellent news , congratulations and a few wines would have caused any harm at this early stage , i cut down in 2 week wait to a little bit one night a week but only cos read its recommended to abstain due to implantation and thats all. Everything will be fine xxx

@ImpatientTTCer #cyclesisters ✌️ I'm realllly planning on not getting too obsessive during the TWW this time. It's just exhausting 🙈😂 I have 1 first response test in the house & I'm not buying anymore! Im hoping that will keep me in check. I have a zoom consult with fertility clinic to discuss our test results half way through our TWW this month....hopefully not bad news 😖
