Oh ladies, can anyone help, please?

I'm CD11 and quite regularly now I get ovulation pains on this day (I'd expect them in the evening time) with ovulation actually happening I suspect on CD12. I think. But the pattern itself IS now very regular. Then I spot in the luteal phase.

I've started taking B6 and this has helped the spotting no end!

AF started bang on last month, with no spotting beforehand. I had a normal bleed for a day and a half, which is usual for me and not much spotting after. Kind of a usual period for me but I do remember the spotting stopped quite soon after and quickly went away.

This cycle I've not yet really had much ewcm yet. Though I noticed some (a little) sporadically after AF finished.

Now on CD11 and for the last few days I've been spotting!!! 😨 But only on checking cervical position, so possibly on contact which has annoyed my cervix and made it bleed a little, which is plausible as I have erosion. But, I NEVER get spotting before ovulation, EVER! No matter how much checking and sex I have!

Could B6 have done this?! 😫 I've never really had a weird cycle since I first came off the pill, which was ages ago now! 😭

What could be happening?!

AnxiousWannabe · 26/04/2021 09:37

I managed to stop testing over the weekend but caved this morning. Bfn.

I think I was more relaxed when I didn't test and more at ease this morning with my bfn (which I kinda prepped myself for). Each time I was tempted to test over the weekend I thought of how helpless I felt bleeding when I had my cp and I stopped.

I just wish my af will come already. Lol. The last thing I need is a missed period that makes it harder to track my next ovulation ! I think I will celebrate when my next af arrives !

Katiekattty · 26/04/2021 09:44

Hi all, I’ve such a busy week and now I can catch up. 10dpo and BFN for me. I’ve decided I really need to kick start my weight loss and get back to good habits.

MgW1 · 26/04/2021 10:19

Thanks ladies , normally 3 weeks out of the month I feel fine and positive and quite like monitoring for ovulation , I get quite excited about it even but then the last week of tww , im anxious and get down! I guess its hormones as much as anything else ..... started spotting now , so its not this month .... on to May 🙏🙏 xx

Pamparam · 26/04/2021 10:35

I don’t wish to make a positive sound so negative but..

I’ve just had a decent positive on FRER on 13DPo on SMU, I have had a lingering headache for days but don’t feel at all AF-y despite being due today.

No other symptoms and although DTD timing was good but this month has been horrible and stressful and I’ve had lots of minor stress related ailments so I wasn’t thinking about and I thought there was no chance at all as my body would be so inhospitable. As a result I have drunk a few alcoholic things this weekend. I’ve not been actually ‘drunk’ but probably a little merry.

I will now start adding an extra layer of stress thinking I’ve damaged this ball of cells before it’s even got going! Any tips for calmness and stress relief appreciated!!

Katiekattty · 26/04/2021 11:06

@Pamparam omg congrats. I wouldn’t worry about it. There was a thread posted before about who drank during there pregnancy and a lot of women had a couple drinks. Don’t borrow trouble just be in the moment and excited.

soontobeamama · 26/04/2021 11:30

Congratulations @Pamparam! xx

KatRee · 26/04/2021 11:46

@Pamparam Congratulations! Wonderful news! I wouldn't worry about the drinking at all - think how many people get pregnant accidentally whilst regularly going out and drinking quite heavily, don't realise they are pregnant for weeks and then go on to have completely happy, healthy babies.

Sorry for those of you with BFNs. I am 6dpo and trying not to even entertain the possibility that this is the month to avoid the disappointment, but it's impossible to stop thinking about it.

Misty84 · 26/04/2021 11:55

@MgW1 That’s how I feel during the month too.

Congratulations @Pamparam!

Pamparam · 26/04/2021 12:31

Thanks ladies. Logically I know 2 pints of beer won’t do much damage but still a worry. I will have an early scan due to my history of MC so keep all your digits crossed for me until then!

KatRee · 26/04/2021 12:44

@Pamparam I get it- when I say 'l wouldn't worry', I mean I would worry, because I worry about everything and it's impossible to stop. But Iogically really don't think it is anything we need to worry about. Because I'm a worrier (and because I like my wine) - I have looked into this issue before and found tons of reassuring info and stories. Got my 🤞for you

thislittlebird · 26/04/2021 13:51

@Marvellouslymadmum yeah I get that. A lot of time and a different 50% involved...hard to predict.

Geriatric1234 · 26/04/2021 13:53

Ahhhhh @Pamparam GRATZZZZ!!

But yes, I understand that now THE FEAR will replace THE WAIT for the BFP. Nothing you can do except ride that out and - and I cannot stress this enough - DO NOT GOOGLE! Grin

Two pints will not have done anything that early. It certainly won’t cause an MC. X

thislittlebird · 26/04/2021 13:56

@Pamparam congrats and do not worry. I think most of my friends conceived around the time of some big night out where they consumed a ton of booze. You’ll have done no harm.

MgW1 · 26/04/2021 14:06

@VixFromThe6ix
Hi how are you doing ? Did AF arrive? How long from first fertility consultation were you prescribed progesterone? X

MgW1 · 26/04/2021 14:14

@Misty84
Decided to book a hotel stay somewhere in june during our fertile window , something nice to look forward to. I have my fertility appointment next friday. I deffo think we need helping getting a bean to stick 🙏🙏 xx

Henslovetoscratch · 26/04/2021 14:20

@Pamparam awww that's great!! And echoing the others defo don't worry about booze at this stage, super pleased for you!
I missed the first day for my OPK this month so contemplating whether I start tomorrow or not, then it's on for DTD when we can!
Hope everyone else is well and had good weekends.

Noodella18 · 26/04/2021 14:20

YAAAASSSSSS @pamparam !! Great news!!

Totally understand your fears, but I got totally battered the night before I got my BFP for baby #1 (in fact I'm convinced the dehydration helped the line show up!) My daughter is perfectly normal, no issues at all. My friend had a drunken and cocaine fuelled new year's eve a few days before getting her bfp (she wasn't ttc) and again, perfect baby. So try not to worry xx

VixFromThe6ix · 26/04/2021 14:28

@MgW1 good morning, love. (Canada here so it's 9:22am)
First time we spoke with fertility clinic they had us fill out an extensive questionnaire beforehand. We spoke about it. She asked us more questions and that was it. She sent us in for blood tests and ultrasounds for me and that test where they lump water into your uterus to see inside. Next call was to review the results. That's when she told me I'm little high in prolactin and also that I should get on progesterone. She gave me like a huge supply cause I gotta take it every month.
I took a store test yesterday and it was negative. So I think this is it and I can stop taking progesterone for the cycle so my period can come.
That's another thing, for some people like myself, I have to stop taking progesterone for my period to come and last month it came 4 days after I stopped it which made my cycle 31 days in length.
They should prescribe progesterone if either it shows low on the tests or if you're having issues with irregular periods.
Also, I had used a cheapie yesterday morning it was negative, peed again second time about two hrs later, still saw the faint line. But I think testing with the store brand and it showed negative is good enough that no further testing is needed. I'm just gonna stop the progesterone and wait for my red friend to arrive lol

VixFromThe6ix · 26/04/2021 14:31

@Pamparam congratulations!!!
I wouldn't worry about one night of drinks. Now that you got your BFP, no more drinks. I even asked the doctor and she said it's usually not an issue. Issue is if someone has a dependency or is doing it during pregnancy.
Start feeling happy !!! ❤️

VixFromThe6ix · 26/04/2021 14:35

@Katiekattty sorry about your BFN!! But 10dpo is still really early!!! Check again by 14dpo to be aure. 🤞🤞🤞🤞
I've been so bad this month due to my chemical I was stress eating like an idiot.
Clean eating for me!! Hoping to get outside more as well to walk. No excuses now, the weather is nice lol

VixFromThe6ix · 26/04/2021 14:39

@selina37 hi!! You sound stressed, you poor thing. Big hugs!!
I think that it's normal for your cervix to be sensitive especially if you're doing something differently like taking meds or supplements. It's used to shedding by this time but it's not, so maybe it's that?
Don't worry too much.... I think we all got strange mid cycle spotting here and there. Treat this cycle as a transition cycle of your body adjusting to new changes. If this happens again next cycle, I would maybe call my ob.
Don't stress :) do you track ovulation any way other than just feeling your body??

Misty84 · 26/04/2021 14:41

CD1, onto cycle 22. I honestly don’t know how anyone gets pregnant. Frickin impossible dream 🥺
What great news for my OH on his birthday 🙄

@MgW1 I’ve also got my appointment next Friday. I’ve done most of the initial tests on the NHS, so this is with the private clinic now. Putting all my faith (and money!!) in them!

MgW1 · 26/04/2021 14:42

@VixFromThe6ix
Thanks for your reply luv , appreciate it. I have resorted to fact after 3 losses , 1 end of 1st trimester and chemicals that we may need some help getting a bean to stick!! Any side effects to progesterone? Xx

Kitekat81 · 26/04/2021 14:52

Congratulations @Pamparam!

So sorry @Misty84. I'm due on Thursday and have absolutely zero hope despite dtd loads in fw this month. Roll on ivf, just want to get started now.
