@ImpatientTTCer did you choose to see her or did they allocate someone to you?

There's a doctor I'm hoping to see who recommended the urologist we want to see on a website, we're going to book in my DH soon so I'm hoping to get an appointment with both over the coming months, one for an IVF consultation, one for sperm quality issues and tests. But everything right now is in limbo until I've spoken to the NHS gynaecologist next month.

Trying for 6 months is good advice, very fair. Good to hear the staff were kind, I had such mixed encounters at Care. Nice consultant and nurse, one nice admin person but the rest were very weird/offish/pushy. Nice that your friend had a good experience at LB, I'll be aiming to go there as much as possible if we go with them. As soon as May 17 gets here we can start moving forward.

And yes, it's all expensive, especially in London/south east I think.

I felt a bit odd earlier, like I do when AF is due, and I've started bleeding this evening. It's CD14. They spotted a big cyst when I went in for scans after medical MMC didn't fully work first time and said (casually) it might be endo, I think based on all this weirdness it probably is. In two minds about whether to talk to my GP about it or wait and see if things improve since they'll probably tell me to do that anyway 🤷🏻‍♀️

I would talk about it with your gp. But that's just me..I panic and need answers now type of person ahaha... is Cd14 maybe ovulation spotting??

This cycle I had two days mid-cycle of brown blood and nurse said nothing to worry about. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@VixFromThe6ix oh I'm so sorrybto hear that lovely. It's totally valid that you feel disappointed and upset, take some time to grieve what could have been. But somebody else said, it will probably stand you in good stead to know that you're capable of conceiving. Have a big glass of wine, have a good sob and when you're ready start looking forward to next month xx

@VixFromThe6ix It's full on red bleeding with that heavy feeling, I think I must have ovulated about CD8/9. There's something strange going on. I was supposed to go back for another scan but was never called so should probably talk to GP really. DH has just stopped taking his conception vitamins because we think they were making him ill so the universe may be sending very strong signals that it's time to stop x

We have been trying a year , I have had 3 mc's now and resorted to the fact we will need some help, got gynae apt on 7th may. We are ttc #3 and if id know we were going to have such a struggle , we may have thought again! Anyway , its impossible to turn that desire off. I am hoping a bit of progesterone will be all I need 🤞🏻🤞🏻

@Noodella18 with two miscarriages and now a chemical, we always tried to look at it like hey we are getting pregnant one will stick... But it's like how many MC's does it take to break someone, you know? I'm not there yet, but I'd be lying if I didn't think one more and I'm out...maybe it's not meant to be for me to be a mommy. But no negative thoughts today... All cried out, all calmed down now... Wine later to ight... Good times ahead ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

@Sleeeeeepy that does seem odd, babe. Hope you get some answers soon. I started taking progesterone and omg it helped with my bizarre period cycles. I hope it helps you too. No time to stop, please... Have faith cause I have faith. Take all the tests you can and if none show anything crazy serious, keep going. If there is a will, there is a way.

@ImpatientTTCer welcome to the thread. I'm a newbie to the thread myself only been here a few days and it's all need to me. As this is my TWW on my first cycle TTC #1.

@MgW1 sorry to hear you also may have had a CP. I think a. Big glass of wine and kettle chips can solve almost anything.

@MgW1 haha hey if someone said this is what I'd be going through when I finally found the one love of my life and wanted a family, I'd be saying no way Jose... But yes few miscarriages later, few low points later, we still want this baby so so much. It would be our first and I know he or she would be so so loved. Come on now, baby. Stick already!! Lol
P.s. I swear by progesterone. It's helped me.

@MgW1 yes!!! I started taking it last cycle...stopped cause negative at 14dpo... Started again this cycle three days after ovulation and taking it to this day... Gonna stop in couple days since not pregnant.
My fertility clinic on prescribed it to me

I got my first appointment with fertility clinic next friday. Did they diagnose you with insufficient progesterone? X

@MgW1 surprisingly no..just high prolactin for which I'm also taking bromocriptine.
The reason for progesterone is my period being weird like spotting for 8 days prior to heavy day beginning. She thought it odd and told me to get on progesterone. It fixed the spotting

@VixFromThe6ix it couple be a couple I would definitely try to step away from the tests and leave it for a few days then try again with an frer if af hasn't showed!

As soon as we want to ttc! And throw all kind of symptoms we don't normally get for af making us think we are pg 😂 I've been ttc no 3 but first with oh for 576 cycles It seems like! Or just over 3 years in reality with 2 mc 2cp that I know of and an 8 month wait for referal for investigations 🙄

@MgW1 hope you're doing ok, chemicals are one of the reasons I've stopped testing early, after two I'd had enough of those!

@Misty84 how did you pick one, out of curiosity? I just read the plastics page, it’s interesting but am glad cold/dry foods seem ok. Didn’t want to replace everything

@thislittlebird Lister sent me the link to their consultants and each has a description of their background/ what they specialise in etc, I wanted someone who specifically mentioned low ovarian reserve and several of them did, and I recognised some of the names from reading many Mumsnet threads on Lister experiences. So I ended up with a top 3 and emailed saying Can we have our consultation on this day at this time with one of these 3 consultants- and that was that! 🙂

@MgW1 I insert two 100mg candies vaginally before bed time. So 200mg total. They look like candies lolol
I am sorry we are going through this, too... But it honestly helps when someone else relates and you feel less lonely. ❤️

@Marvellouslymadmum I was planning to test with a "good" test tomorrow as it would be 24 or 15dpo. I think if by this time it's not positive, it's not positive. But, I do fear it showing up positive because of my chemical. next cycle...not testing early... This one experience is enough for me to stop 😅
