@polejunkie yeah that's the issue, we have a contentious relationship and tbh I feel quite envious that she's skipped over ttc as she's single and using donor sperm, but then that's a whole different set of feelings for her. She must feel all sorts of emotions having to go down this route. We just need to be honest with each other which is our struggle. I'll stop talking about it now tho as you forget that these forums are public domain! Thanks, great you're appointment is upcoming. Don't think I'm too far behind you as I'm due on Sunday so will call nurses Friday to see what they say.
@2020mission thanks! Yeah it's mad I think but then it's what she wants and her means to getting it. We're close in the sense we hang out, but we both wind each other up a treat so I do feel distant from her too. It's an odd one!
@RobinRose thanks, yeah hope so too! Great you've got tests underway, you'll be fine. It's just nice to know what's going on even if it's nothing!

@Juno231 I really hope so! This month is our last shot as I think ivf will start soon. My follow up notes say to call the nurses at the acu so looks like they want to start Ivf ASAP 😱feel sore but ok thanks. Don't know how long it took but I reckon no longer than an hour. 3 incisions so sporting some fetching bandages with blood on 🤢 (will change them tomorrow).
They did both actually! Heat to lift it away and then scissors to cut. Said they were heated scissors or something 🤷🏾‍♀️ 😂 nose away, I know yours is next week isn't it or is it week after?

I just had a call to book my endometrial scratch and they dropped the bomb that its an extra £300! I know in the context of what we've already spent its not so much but I wasn't expecting it and burst into tears on the phone. I also think it puts paid to any chance of trying naturally this month, which sucks. I'm just so fed up with it all, just give me my baby already!

@notyetamumbuttrying yes it will be nice to know, hoping dp's swimmers have improved or at least stayed the same!

@Motherofkittens28 that is so annoying! The additional costs must be so upsetting, I get what your saying that in the grand scheme of things it’s a small price - but where does it end?! It’s not surprising you got upset, it’s not just that extra 300 in isolation it’s being piled on top of so much emotional trauma! Don’t beat yourself up...

Will definitely be good to see how you go with natural now with your hubby's super sperm 😂 I'm ok thank you, looking forward (probably too optimistically) to Friday and speaking to the docs, will be giving them loads of symptoms and worries so they've got to do something 😂

@notyetamumbuttrying oof and how's the bloating? OH keeps making jokes about rolling me out of the hospital... Did you get released pretty much straight away or were you under supervision for a while first?

@notyetamumbuttrying I hope things start getting better for you. My sister found out about her 'unwanted' pregnancy at the exact time we were coming to terms with TTC challenges and I remember her debating about whether or not have an abortion at the time (she didn't and gave birth to my niece last August) but at the time I jist couldn't take it and burst out with everything and our relationship was really strained for a while. I still haven't met my niece because of Covid and it's still so hard to come to terms with. Life can be so cruel!

I've taken 2 tests - both BFN as expected by AF due yesterday, had a bit of spotting but she's still not here! Wondering if it means new supplements I'm on are having an effect?

@RobinRose they didn't mention an additional cost no. Technically I had one for my first cycle and it didn't cost extra but I think they badged it differently. A scratch is one of the treatment add ons that may or may not help, there haven't been sufficient studies to prove one way or another. They use a catheter to scratch your uterus, theory being that the healing process helps with implantation. It flipping hurts!

@Motherofkittens28 I'm sure the ivf clinics are used to us women crying at them. I've already cried in front of my consultant and a nurse 🙄 I don't know what to say about the cost though. It's naughty if they didn't say about the price at the time. I know my clinic gave me a price list and that was on it (I haven't gone for it this time) but as we're with Access Fertility we have Embryo Glue included if we want it. Reducing your work hours will be good for you but I think you need to try and do some "nice things" on your days off. It's so easy when you're feeling low to just stay in bed.

It was relatively quickly. I couldn't wee tho so had to lie in the end to be let out 😂
@MIW01 gosh that's tough! My other sister gave birth to my nephew last august! She was nervous to tell me bless her as it was unplanned, plus she was on the pill and had pcos and still managed it 😆 ahh so sorry that you haven't met her yet. I hope you can both heal and come together soon ♥️ sorry for the bfns! X

@Motherofkittens28 that's ludicrous! I had 1 on NHS when I had my HyCoSy (they said may as well do it while I was there) & no idea why it's that expensive!

Can't remember who was saying about AF never arriving when she's meant to but I am experiencing just that now! Arranged with fiancée to take me for FSH blood test Friday as meant to be day 3, I'm usually regular as clockwork and she is meant to have arrived today! Had some spotting last night but no sign of her yet. Wondering if its the new supplements/accupuncture?!

It's so annoying when you want her and she don't come. I've found acupuncture helps regulate my cycles. When I went last week I was like do the needles to make me bleed please! 😂
