@2020mission they're usually £150 in London btw and you get the results in just a few days from what I gather. My friend who's at the same stage as me had her OH's SA done in Harley Street because the wait was too long otherwise.

@Juno231 I don't think? I'm not even sure we caught ovulation and only dtd once. AF wasn't late either? And yes I'm really hard on my DH. He would certainly be knowing its his fault @2020mission 🤣

Bloody NHS referral has just been canceled. I’m fuming and don’t even know how to process this right now. I’m tired.

@notyetamumbuttrying crazy that both you and your sister are going through this, must be strange! I tried searching and couldn’t see what you’d said but I think I got the gist. Good luck with your procedure!

@thislittlebird my first reaction was NO! and lots of swear words popping round my head but then I remembered I got a cancellation letter for mine only because they brought it forward? So let's hope that's why! Have you called to check?

@paintfairy @Juno231 I am angry underneath 😂 I'm just keeping the peace for now. I'm so glad the only men's test is the SA... imagine they had all the other tests we had? 😅 I'm hoping a miracle will happen before June and it can be parked, although I do kind of want to have tests to find out if I have any conditions causing problems. That's the one positive we can take when we finally get our babies after jumping through all these hoops - having a lot more awareness about what's going on with our bodies!

@Juno231 tell me about it, I’m to write a very strongly worded email to PALS. But maybe i should wait until I’ve called them tomorrow, how did you find out they were moving it forward?

I tried to call earlier but got a voicemail service and it was 2 minutes to 5, so not sure if they were open.

They have not rescheduled @2020mission. I don’t even know what I’m supposed to do because they have cancelled due to “unforeseen circumstances” on May 17 🙄

Ugh @thislittlebird hopefully there's a new appointment on the way. I'd be surprised if anything cancelled wasn't at least rescheduled 🤞 such a pain though ☹️

@2020mission I just find it really odd that they send out a cancellation with no mention of rescheduling.

@thislittlebird they might have sent the new appointment letter separately so don't panic yet! Definitely try and call tomorrow.

@thislittlebird yeah I got a separate letter with the rescheduling. Admittedly I got it the same day but I remember thinking how lucky that was as otherwise I would have freaked

@thislittlebird mine got cancelled and brought forward, but the fertility nurse phoned me to change the date rather than a letter. Hope you can get some more info tomorrow and an alternative date!!

@Crazydoglady123 glad you managed to have the scan anyway! Sounds like af is finally on the way and then onto stims next week! 😊🤞🏻

@paintfairy I had a light one after hsg purely because I'd been on norethisterone which stops lining building up prior to hsg and to delay period. I di get bad period pains but not every cycle so it maybe just a coincidence x

@crazycatlady1981 Good to know, I did think they tried to call me last week but had no luck calling them back or googling the number. Maybe they send a cancellation (and hopefully new appointment) when they can't get hold of you.

@Crazydoglady123 the oh's definitely just don't get our journey, there's no way I would be risking Covid and delaying ivf, he'll just have to wait to go out amd play with his friends 😂 6 days isn't too bad! Glad you're getting everything moving and you have your plan in place

@paintfairy that's how mine have been the last couple of months, I'm seeing it as a positive thing because before they were pretty light and I'm thinking mine are down to the better iron levels, b6 and pomegranate juice that I've been taking. So maybe it's just set things back to a good level

@Motherofkittens28 got taken down at 145 in the end. All went well. 3 spots of endo detected and removed, had 2 adhesions somewhere on the left side and a stuck bladder, so all sorted now! 🥳 plus they did the dye test and both tubes were clear!! Excited to see if natural will work now as I bet those adhesions and endo were in the way! Not read the notes yet. They said to call the ACU nurses for my follow up so think they'll start me on the ivf drugs?!
@paintfairy she's very fertile! Just no man. Hope the period eases up. Great the scan is tomorrow, yay 😀

@notyetamumbuttrying that’s is mental about your sis- could potentially be nice to go through it together (unless your relationship isn’t quite like that?!) can be useful to have someone in real life that understands... granted it will be tough if you’re not both successful. Good news on the lap, onwards and upwards with stims!

@Aimzie sooo confusing, positive tests, lots as well... and no AF?! I mean I’d be at docs or assuming I was pregnant!! Hope you’re not going crazy...🤞🏼

Got our ivf pack and online portal access yesterday... lots to fill out so next appt next week with planning nurse, looking forward to finding out about our timeline, meds etc

@notyetamumbuttrying glad it went well and they managed to identify and clear spots of endometriosis - fingers crossed it will lead to a natural conception! I missed your post about your sister going for IVF. I can't quite get my head around going for IVF as a single woman... I don't think I could do that. Not judging of course, I just can't imagine what it's like to not have the support of a partner and what it must be like using donor sperm to conceive. Are you close with her?

Dp got his 'kit' for his seamen sample yesturday, his analysis is booked in for the same day as my pelvic scan and AMH test on 4th of May! Feeling a little nervous about it all!

One ‘rescheduled’ letter would have sufficed but here we are. I guess I should call them either way to ask them to put my scans and husband’s SA on file.

@notyetamumbuttrying fingers crossed the cleanout results in a natural made baby! How are you feeling? How long did it take/how long after did you get released? How many incisions! And did they do ablation or excision on the endo? haha forgive me for being nosey.
