@2020mission I get up at 8.30 too 😂😂😂😂

@notyetamumbuttrying that's promising then that they removed it and hopefully now it's a better environment for baby either naturally or ivf :) gonna ask about it at my hycosy next week and see if I can have a lap

RobinRose · 15/04/2021 10:47

@notyetamumbuttrying SA is booked for the May 4th, have to drop it off 15 minutes before my appointment so it has worked out well, being booked on the same day! We have taken the day off work so we can do something nice after!

@notyetamumbuttrying, @Marvellouslymadmum thank you both, just feeling very tired, had a migraine this morning too 😣 just waiting for the cramps to kick in

paintfairy · 15/04/2021 10:47

@MIW01 technically it can be done days 2-5. So as long as its not more than a day late, you'll be ok? But yeah that's typical!

I've been for a scan this morning and started my injections for IUI. Next scan Tuesday. The good thing with this is you can still dtd! 🥳 I've been told we have to do it Monday (in case it goes tits up and they've missed it, so there's still a natural chance). Fingers crossed.

paintfairy · 15/04/2021 10:51

@2020mission I've got into the habit of getting up much later! Because of wfh. I'm wondering how I'll ever cope again?! I do wonder how people with kids do it? I have to admit it does put me off. I can barely organise myself, let alone anyone else in a morning! And I'm grumpy. 🤣

2020mission · 15/04/2021 10:54

Yess I'm not the only one then 😆 @paintfairy I'm still on "flexi furlough" so my hours are currently 10-4pm and I don't know how I'll cope when it's back to 9-5.30 and includes a commute to the office 😅 making the most of this! Hoping they will allow a mix of home and office work permanently.

RobinRose · 15/04/2021 10:58

@paintfairy I didn't realise you are doing iui! (Or I have forgotten) I am thinking this may be the route we need to go down... what are the injections for? Good luck! 🤞

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/04/2021 10:58

@Juno231 no it's my normal wake up time for the school run and on days where there isn't school for my bbt. I'll get a pic of the nails in a bit and add it, not easy to take a pic of my own lol

@paintfairy I thought I'd have loads of trouble going back to school runs after the first lockdown as I was so lazy but it wasn't that bad!

Motherofkittens28 · 15/04/2021 11:07

@paintfairy @2020mission I also roll out of bed at 8:30 and log on to work at 9. I love my sleep so motherhood will certainly be a challenge for me! Luckily work seem to be looking at a 2 days in the office, 3 days from home model. I have a 2hr commute normally so this makes me very happy 😊

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/04/2021 11:22

Ahh managed to get some pics @Juno231 spring nails for me

@2020mission I work flexi. I used to be in the office by just after 7 as I like to leave early! But I'm not even up at that time now! Plus you don't have to faff looking decent before logging in. 🤣
@RobinRose yes this will be my first go. We get 3 and then 1 round of ivf on the nhs. I had my hsg last month. The injections are to slightly stimulate you as its medicated IUI. Some people do natural with no medication. I'll need progesterone after too, because I spot in my LP, so they'll give me that. But usually they see what happens without first. I'm just hoping I'm not over stimulated, because they won't do it if I am! Risk of multiple pregnancy. But since you dtd alongside, there's still that risk, which is worrying. DH will have a breakdown if we have 3! 🤣
@Motherofkittens28 luckily I wfh 2 days a week before all this. And after it'll be 2 or 3. So I can break my week up. My commute (going early and avoiding traffic) isn't bad at all though. 2 hours definitely didn't sound fun! It'll definitely be easier.

Juno231 · 15/04/2021 11:34

@Marvellouslymadmum wow! gorgeous! very spring appropriate too Grin I'd just ruin those gardening I think ha.

@2020mission ha I just hate sleeping in - makes me feel like the days are shorter! Even on weekends we usually get up at 7 am and sometimes lie in until 8.

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/04/2021 11:55

@Juno231 you'd be hard pressed to ruin them they're pretty hard wearing - I usually re do them every 3-4 weeks and that's while doing everything I normally do in the meantime, housework, other people's nails etc

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/04/2021 11:56

@Yutes good luck lovely 😊
@Annny27 yeah that's the hope! Do you think you might have endo then?
@RobinRose ah nice that it's the same day! Glad you're doing something nice with the day 😌 hope your migraines eases!
@paintfairy so glad you've got underway now, best of luck with it all 🤞🏾
@Marvellouslymadmum wow! Your nails are spectacular 🤩
@Juno231 I'm a bit like that although I love sleeping so it's a bit of both for me. I tried to go bk to work today from lunchtime onwards but my boss said just have the whole day, I'm bored already lol!

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/04/2021 12:01

@notyetamumbuttrying thank you! I figured I best make mine look decent before doing other peoples lol

Juno231 · 15/04/2021 12:30

@notyetamumbuttrying you nutter ha! My doc told me to take a week off work so I jumped at the opportunity lol. Can't wait for some time off!

2020mission · 15/04/2021 13:01

@Juno231 haha it's a trade off between a shorter day or shorter night. I couldn't handle going to bed at 9 or 10pm 😆 too early! I'll have to adapt if we ever have a baby though of course.

@Marvellouslymadmum ohh those nails are lovely. I'd find the simplest tasks like typing too hard with long nails like that though haha.

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/04/2021 13:03

@2020mission these are just medium length haha I don't find anything an issue, the only time I have trouble is if I have really long nails! Even then I can still use my phone ok

Juno231 · 15/04/2021 16:00

@notyetamumbuttrying so I called to chase for the pre-assessment appointment and they've fit me in for the 21st. Weirdly it's still over the phone so it sounds pretty useless compared to yours!

crazycatlady1981 · 15/04/2021 16:24

Af arrived this morning! Boo! At least 2 days earlier than it should have been! Thought my acupuncture was doing the job, as my temp went back up, but then she arrived anyway! Bloody covid jab has screwed up my luteal phase! Now I’m worried about having my booster one in case it messes with the ivf! I need to add it to my list of questions to ask the clinic!

@Marvellouslymadmum loving the nails! 💕

My sleep changes with the seasons! In winter, I’m a late riser, but now I’m awake around 6.30-7 when it starts getting light. Usually in bed by 9pm as I really love my sleep!

@Motherofkittens28 wow, a 2 hour commute sounds hellish! 😱

@paintfairy good luck with the IUI this month!

Motherofkittens28 · 15/04/2021 18:14

@crazycatlady1981 thats rubbish, sorry to hear that 😢.
On the covid jab what are peoples thoughts about it and fertility treatment? I haven't been offered it yet so it's not relevant now but I'm worried about taking it just in case it effects something. Has anyone talked it through with their fertility consultant or gp?

2020mission · 15/04/2021 18:28

@crazycatlady1981 aww sorry about AF. That makes sense with changing sleeping pattern with seasons. Who would want to be up at 6am when it's dark and freezing outside 😅 but in summer it would be nice.

notyetamumbuttrying · 15/04/2021 18:33

@Marvellouslymadmum ah yes, I remember you saying you do nails! You don't happen to be in London do you?
@Juno231 I was never told how long to have off nor when I can have sex again lol! Just going off google for a lot of things. Think I'll try to do tomorrow as it's just one day then just take it easy over the weekend. I'm on an endo fb group and they've said two weeks for sex which is fine by me 😆 no one said you'd bleed after either so now I'm wondering if my period will get delayed. Google's saying it will!
So odd that yours are over the phone, guess they'll do your bloods and swabs morning of then. Probs why you're in at 7.
@crazycatlady1981 how annoying! Hope you're alright x
@Motherofkittens28 I'm gonna ask fertility when I next speak to them. I think most are saying take it as long as you're not in the middle of egg collection, transfer, tww etc.

Motherofkittens28 · 15/04/2021 18:48

@notyetamumbuttrying my AF arrived bang on time after the lap, I was worried it would be delayed but no! We had sex about a week after and it was mostly fine except for a few twinges but then they also removed a vaginal cyst in my case so hardly surprising really!
Did they give you a stage for your endo?

paintfairy · 15/04/2021 19:39

@crazycatlady1981 thanks!
@Motherofkittens28 mine said to me- the Pfizer one was safe (since they aren't giving that one really now, that's unhelpful) but any should be ok. But to have it in the first half of your cycle and not when you could potentially be pregnant. It can delay ovulation though, reading others experiences.
Personally I'm not going to have it. I've got enough issues preventing pregnancy without having something that's not even trialled. I don't need any more problems.

Motherofkittens28 · 15/04/2021 19:47

@paintfairy that's my thought too but I've had some friends be really funny about me saying so. I'm in no way antivax but I just don't want to take any risks!
