@notyetamumbuttrying no news here waiting for AF (hopefully tomorrow) so I can book in for fresh cycle and start down regs on day 21... waiting game here and a bit fed up 🙄 x

Sorry to hear you are fed up @polejunkie it's always a tough time when you are waiting for AF to arrive and aren't really hoping for a bfp anymore. Sending hugs!

@polejunkie yeah I bet! Long protocol really does live up to its name doesn't it! My hospital have you stim for 10-14 days so transfer won't be until flipping June, thought I'd have an embryo on board before the month was out but not looking likely. Here's hoping I get one in me anyway at any point! Hope you come on tomorrow, do you feel like you will?

@clolo ah yeah, makes sense. Yeah gonna test Sunday when I'll be 10dpo. Early I know but can't bring myself to do it on a work day and if its bfp means I can stop injections sooner!

@notyetamumbuttrying it may do or it may not lol at the moment I'm wondering if I even ovulated as I had no ov pain or anything like I usually get and now apart from bloating no af symptoms 🤷🏼‍♀️ but my temp chart says I did ov so hopefully have!! Keeping everything crossed 🤞🏻 for you getting your bfp before ivf

I'm just suddenly so fed up with the whole ttc thing, husband is so supportive, we have an appt 10th June, tubes are clear etc but i feel like i want to just relax this cycle till we see clinic but equally don't want to miss the chance. Just wish I could switch off, done quite well until now but a friend due this month, one of besties due June. Going away for a week so hopefully perk me up.

@kerrym87 - I feel you... so many months I've considered forgetting about TTC but it's not possible for me unfortunately, know myself / cycle too well. I have support too, but the down days still come, sending you luck and love throughout this process, chin up! BIL baby due imminently... Excited for them but It's tough man x

@kerrym87 ah I know how you feel. Can you just do it on peak and ov? That's what I do when I'm not feeling a particular month. Your week away will defo perk you up! Is that next week?

@polejunkie @kerrym87 I feel you! It is really hard to switch off especially when you know your cycle so well. I try not to stress about dtd at the 'right time' but it is hard. Af due next week, I find this is the hardest part of my cycle, probably because I know af is coming and there's fuck all I can do about it! A friend of mine is due their second baby next week, excited for her but ..... you know how it is! Also, seeing pregnancy announcements on fb just pisses me off now (I know, I sound bitter!) I wounder how many of them struggled to conceive? No one mentions it do they? Blah! sorry, bit of a rant from me 🤦🏼‍♀️

@paintfairy glad your feeling OK, I get what you mean, think I would feel the same... so used to not getting the outcome you want so why would now be any different? It's shit, mentally exhausting! When do you get to try again?

Aaaaaand AF is here, bang on time... at least I can call the clinic and book myself in for my first cycle of IVF!

@RobinRose I have to call CD1 and see if they can do it. So not sure until it happens. AF technically due today but I'm not sure if the progesterone will have delayed it.

@polejunkie I intend to do a IVF baby announcement. Like you say I believe it shouldn't be so hidden in the closet.

Sooo I've finished crying happy tears. Day 3 update and all our embryos are going strong! 8 of the 9 are of good qualify which is the highest grade they can give at this stage (plus 2 of the 8 are at day 4 stage already!) and 1 embryo is of average quality. Transfer booked in for 10.30am Saturday 🥰
