@yutes check the instructions but strip ones usually specify not to use FMU. From what I've seen and my own experience included - second wee of the day seems most potent/easiest to use without being diluted.

@Motherofkittens28 hope your feeling a little better today? This journey is so bloody hard, be kind to yourself (and eat lots of chocolate!) 🌸

I have my scan at the fertility clinic yesturday, all went ok, said I have a good number of follicles (didn't think to ask how many) and everything looks OK. I do have a cyst on my left ovary but they didn't seem too concerned, just waiting for a follow-up with consultant.

Thanks @RobinRose, I am feeling a little better. Wish I could ear all the chocolates but I'm on my pre wedding diet, keep telling myself it will all be worth it if I'm thinner next time I go for a dress fitting!

So I tink I am now seeing a trackable trend in my resting heart rate to predict my AF. Heart rate is rising 5 to 7 days before it starts for the last two months and I can see that it started going up on Monday, so I reckon AF will arrive dead on time on Saturday. Apparently you can also sometimes see a dip for ovulation, I did have a dip on my days 10 and 11 followed by a rise, but that seems slightly early. Just something else tor me to torture myself with lol!

@RobinRose it was fine, yay! I'm a bit sore though. Glad the scan went ok, hope not too long to wait for your follow up!
@clolo morning, so all done now. Dh got the solution into the needle but I injected. Had to count myself down as I flipping hate needles 😆 I squealed when I put it in 😂 how you getting on?
@Motherofkittens28 thank you, all done now 🙌🏾 is this on a Fitbit or something? I've seen other ladies go insane over their rhr so it's not always 100%!

@notyetamumbuttrying, well done, first one is the worst because its new, then becomes second nature! Yes on my fitbit, I dont normally set much store by these things but there is about a 6bpm difference the week leading up to AF, which I find interesting. The headache a day or so before is normally my biggest clue though

@Juno231 I had no clue not to use FMU. I just need to try and make sure I’m not too hydrated and find a way to work it into my schedule.

@yutes yeah normally FMU is for the OPKs that track both LH and oestrogen I think!

@crazycatlady1981 I can do it next cycle if they can fit me in. I wont know until I call up when AF comes. Then they usually phone you the next day and tell you.

@Annny27 jeepers 6 months! The one thing I will say is that my consultant told me 3 months but in the end I waited 1 I think. She did say they get lots of cancellations for it as people will be offered an appointment only to realise they can't take it cause they won't operate on you if you've already BD that cycle.

CD1 here - keen to TTC again this cycle though!

@notyetamumbuttrying oh no about the pregnant colleague! I must admit I had a browse in next during my lunch break yday and specifically went into the baby section but then realised I just felt nothing... no gushy aaws, no sadness - it just felt surreal that any of those tiny items would ever belong to a baby of mine. Like I don't even believe that it will happen.

@paintfairy so sorry to hear the iui didn't work. Hopefully you can get the next one in quickly!
