Had our day 1 update from the clinic and of 12 eggs collected 11 were mature and of that 9 have fertilised. I don't really want to say too much about it on a public forum but we had a bit of a problem arise yesterday on our IVF journey and as much as those are good numbers, we're not out of the woods yet so hoping and praying over the next few days 🤞

P.s I know what you mean, I am just residing that everyone in real life knows that this is me because I tell them the exact same things I tell here. Although pretty sad of them to stalk me on an infertility board to get more information about my vaginal mucus and period cramps 😂😂😂

@Crazydoglady123 - great numbers, you must be pleased - another step closer. Whatever problem has copped up I hope you can manage it, there is always something but based on the figures from egg collection etc. there's definitely positives to hold on to x

@Motherofkittens28 sorry that you are having a difficult time! Sending you lots of love and positive vibes for your next cycle! I know it must be so hard to stay positive especially when you’ve already been through it once before, but this is a new cycle, with different drugs and new eggs and semen so there’s lots of chance it will be totally different to your last one!! 💕

Just got my hopes up massively by email from satellite clinic saying could she change our appointment to this afternoon instead. We don’t have an appt booked today at all, so I emailed her back and there I was getting excited that we might be starting this cycle after all and then she emails back saying that it was a mistake and to just ignore her previous email! She hasn’t heard back from Bath yet at all! 😡 They really like to mess with our heads! DH is livid!!

@crazycatlady1981 that would piss me off royally!! How can they do that, chase Bath directly, I would at this point... Does this mean you can't start this cycle now? Hope you're ok, I know you were kind of prepared for that, but still!

@polejunkie yeah I was a bit upset, as I’ve mentally moved onto next cycle and it’s already a rollercoaster of emotion without them sending out unintentional emails that give you false hopes!! DH want to launch a formal complaint against her so I need to try and calm him down somehow!!
I think we’ll contact bath ourselves if we don’t hear anything this week! AF is due sometime next week so I want to know that the ivf cycle is officially in place for when it starts really!

@Yutes I usually use cheapy Femometer opks, starting around day 8, once in afternoon and then twice a day lunch and evening, from about day 12. My usual ovulation is around day 12-15 but can be as early as day 10 sometimes. I get a positive the day before ovulation but it sometimes only shows for about 6-8 hours hence why I do twice a day or sometimes 3 times a day so I don’t miss it. Good luck this month! 🤞🏻

I’ve got some wee cheapie ones. So I should test in the afternoon/evening, not the morning?

I’ve been testing the morning, had nothing cd7, faint positives cd8&9 but that was with morning tests. I never thought I could use them, so I avoided but don’t want to miss ovulation (I use ovusense as well, but that only confirms when it’s been, not that it is necessarily coming).

@crazycatlady1981 it's enough of a rollercoaster, you don't need them messing you around!

@Yutes defo afternoon if the cheapies. You'll need to hold your wee for a few hours and not drink too much as you don't want it too diluted.

@Yutes I use ovusense as well! I find the combination of both opk and ovusense really good and accurate!
Yeah I used to just test in morning and got nothing at all on opks and then started doing lunchtime onwards and it actually detected something finally!! Everyone’s different I guess, so just try out different times and see what happens! I sometimes get a very faint line for 3-5 days before it starts to go darker.

So o had my chat with the doc this morning - she didn't think I was mad, listened to everything I said and was really helpful!! She said it does sound like endo but if my af has changed and I haven't had a vaginal exam or a recent smear she would get those done so I have an exam booked for Friday morning unless af shows by then as I'm 9dpo ish today then I have to change it and will book a smear in once af has arrived and gone. Will find out Friday if she's going to do me a separate gynaecology/endo referal too 😊
