Love hearing all the vaccine opinions out there. It's so personal isn't it. I'll be getting mine I think no matter what. Just terrified of the C word 😁😁 I'll take fear of the slight unknown over the known risks from that. Tbh at the rate I'm going any risk of an overlap will be a non issue anyway 😂🙈

@Kay00 so thrilled you got your referral. Does it feel good to be seeing some progress and having the forms to fill in etc? This TTC thing is so uncontrollable that I find sometimes even having something as concrete as making an appointment feels satisfying.

Happy weekend all. Just finished work late and sat down with a big mug of tea. 9DPO and all the PMS mood swings going on as normal so not too hopeful.

The only thing that might spark a shred of hope (that I'm trying to quash) is I just had spotting for the first time in my life.... bright and intense and then gone just like that.... weird I know but aside from AF which just arrives with an entrance ive never had spotting any other time of the month at all. And I'd be shocked if she was coming early cause my body is a bit OCD like myself. So time will tell but I seem to be accumulating new PmS symptoms each month so taking this with a huge pinch of salt. She's due Tuesday so we'll see. Anyone else just starting the really annoying part of the TWW going into the weekend?

I had my first vaccine in feb and have my second one next week but I got the astrozenica and with the latest news on it, im concerned as they are advising under 30s to not get it due to possible blood clots. Although so far the blood clots are 1 in 230,000 so im not sure whether to change and go for fizar or just take the risk with the astrozenica 😖

Came off the pill 10 days ago.
Still no sign of AF, was taking desogestrol roughly for 6 months.

I was diagnosed with PCOS about 5 years ago. Had all my quota of clomid around the same time without any luck with my ExH (truly gutted about this now).

We split 18 months ago and been divorced for 6.

I'm 35 and my body clock is screaming loudly.

New partner wants children and why wait!

Any advice would be greatly welcome and appreciated xx any ideas on how to bring AF on also would be great!!!

I didn't get a withdrawal bleed until week 8 and I didnt ovulate until 2 months later. Ive had one period and im now 5 and a half weeks since my last period but ive not ovulated and no period. I had 12 days of high/positive ovulation tests but no peak. Although I just took a pregnancy test and swear I could see a very very very faint line but it could just be my eyes playing tricks on me because it would be very very unlikely seems as ive not ovulated😂

FF has detected my chart is triphasic beginning on day 25 and I just needed to celebrate with someone 🥳😅

9dpo here but my temps have been dropping slightly the past few days. Just hoping AF stays away for a couple more days so I don’t have a super short lp again. Sigh.

@cams50 I really hope your temp picks up, temp drops at 9dpo can be a good sign!

I'm 7dpo (possibly 8dpo) and my temp has really jumped... but I was pretty ill last night (post cheese twist 😅) so it's probably just an anomaly

I've just read and caught up. We need some BFPs.

I have started my opks again. I got a high reading last night at cd10 and just before I went to bed had a lot of Ewcm. Sorry tmi. But more than I've ever had so I'm hoping that's a good thing perhaps. None this morning. Feel weirdly okay with the opks but I think dh finding them stressful last time may have been a big factor in making me stressed enough to stop doing them!
Feeling fine and positive as I do all month until the days before AF is due so I'm enjoying that for now🤣
How long do you guys get high readings for before your peak? When I used to do them I seemed to just get a high, peak then back down again so I'm wondering if today is the day! I have ovulated early a few times.

Oh and my DH is booked in (finally) for his sperm analysis but it's not until the end of the month. I'll be in cycle 17 by then most likely but I guess it's progress!

@Lovebug06 I've had my first dose, not been invited for my second one just yet.. it's a weird one isn't it, if you tell them you're currently ttc I don't know if they would not give the jab, but then you don't get the jab - or you lie and say you're not currently ttc and you get the jab but don't know what it would do to your body, tough one!
I'm not currently TTC we're not on anything, we're currently pulling out so we might aswell be trying 😂 but they asked if I was planning to start trying so I said yeah we are in may, so that's when she said she would recommend waiting 12 weeks which would take me to middle May so then when I asked my friend to double check with her nurse, she said 12 weeks after my second jab. So my second dose would be May time as I had my first dose in feb which now takes me to August which is the 12 weeks after the second dose if it's true that you can't ttc whilst in limbo with the doses.. so I'm quite stuck like you except I've had the bloody thing 😂😂

~ Was supposed to start TTC in May
~ Had first dose in Feb - was told to wait 12 weeks after to start trying
~ Second dose is due in May
~ Double checked with another nurse, she said start trying 12 weeks after second dose which now takes my new start date for trying to August, if it's all true!

The more I think about it, how weird that she told me to wait 12 weeks after my jab to start trying, knowing that my second jab will be happening 12 weeks after? So I wonder if she meant wait 12 weeks after the whole thing? God knows 😂 she wasn't very clear hahaha

Both of these organisations are quite clear on their stance that you don't need to delay getting pregnant following Covid vaccination although you may choose to delay second vaccination if you get pregnant in the meantime... It's so frustrating that women are getting such mixed messages.

@MissM94 As a health care professional, I'm probably a bit over invested in this but would love to know the evidence that after 12 weeks, it's 'safe' to TTC again?

I had my second jab this week and wasn't advised to delay TTC at all - and don't have any intention to.

Good luck with making whatever decision you feel comfortable with, I personally feel it's up to individuals to make decisions that they feel comfortable and confident with (even if that is delaying TTC until a certain date post jab) but really struggle with rumour sharing, or guidance being given that has no clear evidence base.

It's now been nearly a month since stopping taking the pill. No idea if I'm ovulating or anything so we're just DTD when fancy (which seems to be lots since stopping the pill) 🤔 Anyone else in a similar no period boat?

@ChinChilly and @Kay00 thanks but I just had some spotting which means AF is on her way. It’s not only so disappointing to not be pregnant yet again but an 8 day lp is not what I wanted either 😔 I had a couple of cycles making it to 11/12 dpo so feels like I’m going backwards. I now feel like we have a confirmed difficulty with DH’s semen but I still don’t feel like everything is fine with me either- I guess hormonally. I feel like this is going to be an impossible journey. I find my AF is longer when I start spotting this early too. Ok I’ll snap out of my pity party now 😂 but this ttc can just be so shit sometimes. Sorry AF is being a bitch @ChinChilly hope you have a super chilled day! And sorry you didn’t feel great after the cheese twist @Kay00 I guess that’s proof the fodmap diet was helping. Your chart looks fab!

@Lovebug06 good news about your DH’s semen analysis! Mine has his retest booked in for the end of the month too.

@feliznavidad2 are you tracking with ovulation tests or temperature or anything?

@feliznavidad2 yes I'm in the same boat! Came of 15th March and haven't had any bleeding. Not doing any tracking yet do don't know for sure, but I believe I ovulated on the 30th. That would supposedly mean my period is due this week?

Sorry should have said I believe I ovulated because of EWCM :)

@Kat668 I have no idea if or when I've ovulated... I'm keen to avoid ovulation tests so early on as figure I'll probably get hooked but equally don't like not knowing where I am, if that makes sense.

Thinking of giving it another month or two before testing for ovulation and attempting to focus on healthy eating/exercise/less alcohol in the meantime... she says.

@feliznavidad2 exactly what I was thinking! I'm swaying more towards just keeping my May start date but with COVID still sticking around it's throwing me off as there is no way I could not have the full pregnancy experience of baby showers, seeing friends and family, going out to places! And also partners being at scans and appointments and wearing masks and what not.. So I'm hoping this lockdown is our last one and we'll be coming out of it!

@feliznavidad2 they just need to get their info and guidelines straight. I made my decision to have it, but when the actual place vaccinating is telling me not to have it I can understand why women who are trying aren't. Because not matter what information you read and are given, if the the actual place says no then that is pretty bad. And exactly why women trying are probably not getting it! Very strange.
@Cams50 sorry to hear AF is coming. It's a horrible feeling after the wait. Be kind to yourself ❤️

Hey girlies. 10DPO and I just don’t know what to think. I’ve had AF cramps the last 3 evenings and I have them now, but nothing has happened. I’ve felt the needle like cramps/pulls/twists on my lower left side from about 6DPO I think and I also have lower backache, achy legs when I walk up the stairs, tender, swollen-feeling boobs, and am generally getting hungrier quicker. I honestly don’t know which way this is going to go. I’ve spoken to DH and decided not to test until past when AF should be here which I think should be Monday as I’m just scared of a chemical. Also that prolongs the inevitable anxiety I will feel if I do get a BFP, and basically we think that remaining in this state of blissful ignorance is for the best right now. So trying really hard not to think about it (and by that I mean typing all my ‘symptoms’ out to you guys hahahah) and just let what will happen, happen. A lot harder said than done, it’s all a bit exhausting.

@Cams50 so sorry to hear spotting has started ☹ my first two cycles off the pill I had an 8 day LP and my first post-miscarriage one was 11/12 days which I was really pleased with and I think it’s down to my daily agnus castus and 100mg B6. Not sure if you’ve researched but I feel they’ve worked for me. Hope you’re doing okay and looking after yourself today xxx

@gracie2021 I think we are cycle twins! 10dpo today. I think your spotting sounds very positive, that’s what I had the cycle I got pregnant before my MC so keeping everything crossed for you! Also the Parmesan comment made me lol!! Love it. Salty cheesy goodness mmmm!

@Cams50 that sucks about your LP, this cycle was the longest LP to date! I think there are some things you can do to lengthen your LP that the ladies on here have previously tried?

@TheHotelCalifornia that all sounds super positive. Yeah I was Abit disappointed because my chart did look so good but it made me realise that all the temping and stuff doesn’t really make a difference or mean anything. My messiest chart was the one I got a BFP on. Sooo I’m making the decision to jack it all, no temping, no OPKs, no examining CM because none of it changes the outcome. We DTD quite alot from when AF leaves until ovulation anyway, my libido drops off after ovulation for some reason. I’ve already spent far too much money on this TTC shiz so it’s time to take back to basics for me!

That probs mean I may not post as much on here as I won’t have any charts or anything to post but I’ll still be lurking around 👀 . I think I’ll use an app so I’ve got a vague idea of when AF is due. I’ve said all this before but I’m fairly certain this time round..so here’s to shagging and hoping for the best 😂😂😂

@TheHotelCalifornia thanks. I’m going to up my b vitamins. I do take them already but I’m going to start a higher dose. I briefly took Agnus Castus but stopped because I scared myself with the mixed results but interesting that you find them good. Do you take them the whole cycle? One tablet a day? Your symptoms sound really promising but I understand why you must be so nervous. I hope it is a bfp and a sticky bean ❤️ Your chart looks amazing.

@ChinChilly thanks! I totally get where you’re coming from. This cycle my chart gave me a heads up as my temps had been gradually falling but I’ve had previous charts that looked great and AF just arrived. Hope it works for you. I’ve also spent so much money on this and keep saying I’ll go back to basics but never do 🤣 I admire your will power!

@Cams50 I’m pretty sure this is the 3rd time I’ve said it 😂😂 my RHR is the best thing for giving me the heads up AF is coming! To be honest I’m sick of dehydrating myself and holding my piss for OPKs and waking up at 6:30 every morning to take my temp 😂😂
