Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@Drinksometeawithme are you defo not pregnant? You temps are quite high, and seem to be on the steady rise.

Hi all. I'm now CD9 and approaching ovulation. Wanted to do SMEP this month but I have absolutely no sex drive this month and really can't be bothered 🤦🏻‍♀️ don't know what's wrong with me as usually the complete opposite leading up to ovulation. Poor DP is trying to keep to his side of the deal and wanting to DTD every other day 😂.

Ooh I’m 5dpo but no cross hairs ?? Not sure what’s going on with my app but because I had such a drastic fall on day 12 I’ve got to have ovulated that day.

@cakelaur Based on my peak I should be roughly 3 DPO too and I have had a slow rise since then (97.73 today).

I've just downloaded FF and backdated my data for the last month. I might go back and do the last couple too to build up a pattern. Need to sit down and read how it works tonight after work but does it give you an estimate of when you ovulated based on the BBT and OPK?

I'm not entirely confident for this month as we DTD when I got my peak (and every couple of days before) but not since so probably much less chance. Still, can only wait and see!

Just read this thread, as 1st month temping, and trying to get an idea of what the charts should look like! Had a miscarriage last year and cycles have been a little odd since. 7dpo today. Here’s my chart

There are some odd temps in there, the very high one yesterday was after a couple drinks and a late night to bed, interrupted sleep.

@ContadoraExplorer I just read your question about when to get help after 35. I’m 36 and called Create for private tests as it’s been 7 months trying for me now including the miscarriage. They seemed to think it was a bit early and to keep trying and come back to them in three months. As the average time to get pregnant is about 7 months. So it put my mind at rest a bit and I’m going to try for another couple months then go back if nothing

@ContadoraExplorer so ff I think monitors bbt, cervix position, cm and opks. Did FF give you cross hairs?

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thanks, that's good to know, I've not mentioned it to the doc yet so will give it another few months then. I'm similar to you in that I had the chemical in October and since then my cycles have all been bonkers, it's really frustrating!

@cakelaur FF says I have conflicting information to do with CM so it estimates my ovulation with a dotted line rather than a fixed one. Will see how it goes using it for next cycle if I don't get a BFP this month. I have been a bit better with my BBT but not so much CM etc so only have half a picture really.

@ContadoraExplorer actually this cycle I took soy isoflavones to try and mitigate the craziness, and it showed I ovulated day 14. I got really positive opks as well. So far I’m really pleased with it, because I was worried I wasn’t ovulating, and had a really short luteal phase. And it seems to have reset me.

@calelaur thank you. And 4dpo, with Easter hols etc, hopefully the rest will fly by!

Finally got my cross hairs on FF but it’s put my ovulation day later than what I think it was! Does it get it wrong sometimes ? I’m sure was day 12 but it’s put it at day 15 - didn’t dtd then, so if it was then definitely out for another month 😕.

@SlothMamaToBe I don’t know, it looks like day 15 to me. Because you need 3 days of higher temperatures after ovulation. And you had a negative opk on the 11th I think? But you might not be out because sex five days before work also I think

Thanks @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 ... argh can’t believe we’ve potentially missed it again! I must have misunderstood as thought when you get a big temp drop, that was when it happens... I know they say sperm can last up to 5 days but seeing as we’ve been trying over a year I’ve got a feeling my DPs might not be great quality 😕. Oh well, just the waiting game now then!

@Cakelaur did a test yesterday negative. But I'm not that bothered as I didnt get a positive with the last one until 10dpo.

@SlothMamaToBe ff changed my crosshairs too. I was getting them on advanced setting for cd 11, but not at all on fam. Now advanced has changed it to cd 13? I mean my temp dipped a little this morning which could be implantation... she says lol we will see I guess.
I wouldn't worry about your temps dipping a little at first as mine did with my chem in Jan. Will attach both that one and this months xx

@ContadoraExplorer if you’re using the nhs for tests maybe it is worth contacting them now or in the next month or so. Just because I’ve just read about delays after coronavirus in getting them etc so it might be good to get the ball rolling and get your name in the list

@SlothMamaToBe I'm not sure if it takes it into account but it looks like a few of your crucial temps have been taken at later time than usual so may not be accurate. If you DTD CD12 and 13 then you didn't miss it either way. Good luck!

Hope you are all well ☺️
Today is cycle day 8 for me and my temp has shot right up! Last cycle I got my peak on cycle day 7 and 8 on clearblue ovulation advanced but then temps didn't rise until cycle day 15.
It seems pretty early to ovulate as I have 29/30 day cycles and the ovulation strips have been negative. Not sure why the sudden increase, has this happened to anyone before? I've attached my chart. Thank you 😊

@natalie3387 Might be normal as we'll all be different but that seems like a really big leap in temp, what was it the next day? Did you check your CM again though cause it looks like you had EW on CD5 which does suggest your body is ramping up to ovulate?

How is everyone doing? Holding out on early testing?! I'm managing so far, still don't think it's happening this month which is probably helping to not use that FRER is discovered in the cupboard 🤣

Happy Easter! Yes 9dpo now and getting a bit antsy to test. Wondering if tomorrow would be too early. I took the soy this month, so no idea when my period is due as it bought my ovulation forward so much

@Natalie3387 I'd suggest that temp is a bit of a fever.

I'm 6dpo today. Not too fussed this month. Sort of given up a little. It would be great if it happens, but totally expecting AF on Saturday. I'm not testing early. I shall be waiting for her to show up. If she's not here by Sunday, I'll test. Provided temps are up.

I think your period will come however many days early ovulation was?

Aww @Cakelaur I totally get where your coming from, I was exactly the same last month. Hopefully it could be a surprising month.
