Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

All over for me this cycle but chart looking good at least. Onto cycle #4...hope it's a lucky one

@slothmamatobe She might have been prepped by the doc to say that rather than just giving her opinion (as a receptionist!) but I know it's not particularly reassuring to hear it from someone with no medical qualification. Perhaps start a specific thread to see if anyone more knowledgeable sees it and answers? And no harm in continuing to try whilst waiting for your second lot of bloods?

Hopefully they'll be able to make a decision re non NHS staff who are pregnant getting the vaccine reasonably soon but I guess they won't be fully able to confirm until babies start appearing? If the experts turned round tomorrow and said it's fine, I'll be in the queue with bells on when I get the call!

@hopefulhedgehog has AF arrived? I know it's probably inevitable with that drop but it's not over until she rears her head 🤞

I got my first high result on CB this morning. My temps are unusually low right now so I'll be interested to see if there is a dip or not but will see how it goes.

Hi @ContadoraExplorer - yes she reared her ugly head this morning so all over for this month. I had no symptoms and was a bit more chilled this month so wasn't too hopeful for a BFP anyway. Next cycle would be a Christmas baby so we pondered having a month off but it seems silly when we just don't know how long this could all take so we are just going for it!

AF got me this morning too, my temps have been dropping for the last 3 days so I knew she would show up. I spoke to the doctor about the spotting I had from 6dpo - 11dpo he said it was probably due to my cycles trying to regulate following my miscarriage in December. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on them in the next couple of months.

Opinions needed!

I got a peak with FMU yesterday morning as well as doing an IC because I have loads and might as well and we all have a thing about POAS.

My BBT has been sitting around 96.something and yesterday was 96.48F. This morning it was 97.18F which is more than a 0.5⁰ rise but still quite low compared to previous post ovulation rises.

I can't use the CB OPK now as its a fixed smiley face now but did an IC today and there is still a result line showing (its not as dark as it says it should be but yesterday's wasn't either and they never seem to get as dark as they should).

Does that mean I'm probably still to ovulate?

When I google it I'm struggling to get anything that matches.

@ContadoraExplorer can you post your chart? I'd suggest your probably have ovulated, but it may be a slower rise.

Hey guys, hope your all doing ok. I think I ovulated 4 days earlier than normal? Opks were positive and I had a dip. I usually ovulate around day 15, which is today. Thought at the time that maybe I had just geared up... but I've not dipped today? Weird for me lol

@ContadoraExplorer - yes , I really don’t think will be long before they recommend it for pregnant women. You can already get it whilst you are trying to conceive and breastfeeding .

Well we had the gas man fitting a new boiler for us all weekend, he was here til 1am last night!! 😫😴 means that we missed out on DTD. My temp dramatically dropped 2 days ago though so hopefully we didn’t miss it!

We are both too tired tonight ... no wonder it’s taking us so long to fall pregnant 😄

I tried to load a pic yesterday from the app but it didn't work so I gave up. The Ovia chart is rubbish though, you only get a snapshot of a few days and can't zoom it out to see better.

I got another small rise today though and I found a spreadsheet I used last time(when I got fed up of the Ovia chart!) which shows its similar temps to that time. We didn't manage to DTD last night, slight communication failure, DH went a run when I was putting DD to bed and was too tired but will try again tonight just in case.

@slothmamatobe I totally feel you on the tired front! Last time we were TTC we would come straight home from work and get it done so we weren't too sleepy at bed time... rock n roll! 🤣

@cakelaur did you get a rise?

No rise from me. And a bit bloated and twingey tonight. So possibly ovulating this evening. Although that seems like a long old time between peak and ovulation 🤷‍♀️

Gonna try to DTD again tonight but not sure I'll get a great response! 😂

It looks like you did ovulate on day 11. Is the difference in your temperatures pre and post ovulation normally quite small? That may be why Ff hasn't added crosshairs yet

Hi @Hopefulhedgehog, thank you for answering. yeah there is never a huge difference, but ff normally picks it up. I think I ovulated on day 11 too, had positive opks to match and nothing since... confused.com lol

@Drinksometeawithme - your chart looks similar to mine. I think I also ovulated early - FF not clocked it yet for me either . I think it definitely looks like you ovulated on day 11. Hope this month is lucky for you !

@Drinksometeawithme are your cycles usually regular? Mine was 27 days last month so we have ended up missing ovulation completely. I have tried it in advance when I first got it but do you have to pay for that usually?

Hi @SlothMamaToBe, my cycle is normally 30 days, but I was 4 days early in December and had a chemical in January. No you dont have to pay for the advanced go to the 3 bar drop down on the right hand side, then settings and I think its the 3rd one down x
