Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@Drinksometeawithme I’m not sure because I was hoping to lengthen my luteal phase with the soy. But if it hasn’t worked, I’m probably due around today at 10dpo.

Took a test this morning and negative. I don’t think my charts really showing anything either

The big temp dip on the 29th was when I woke up really cold - didn’t have a duvet. The big spike on the 1st was after a few drinks and some interrupted sleep. I couldn’t figure out how to do the dotted lines. Otherwise my temps are all pretty flat and not increasing like yours @Drinksometeawithme

My luteal phase is around 17 days which I think is a bit long??? Could that change??
I ovulated early this month on CD13 so based on 17 days my period would be due on Friday...blah
Advice please....

@Mum2Girls19 your temp hasn’t dropped too low though, it’s in line with some of your others. Yesterday’s looks a bit out of place. At 12 dpo to 14 dpo could you test?

Thanks ladies. Feeling a bit shit. Although not unexpected! I have sort of stopped giving a shit if I'm honest. My temps are really low. It's sort of normal for me, but I'm suspecting maybe some sort of hormone imbalance.

@Mum2Girls19 your chart looks good. You haven't dropped anywhere near your coverline! 17days does seem long, although I'm not sure what that means. I was at the other end of the scale with a shorter LP, although since the birth of my youngest it seems to be up around 12days.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 your charts looking good. 10dpo is reasonably early for a positive. Your temps are nice and high still.

Sorry to hear that @cakelaur it does become pretty demoralising the longer we go on.

@Cakelaur sorry your feeling so down about TTC. I tell myself every month not to get so hung up on it but when temps start dropping and AF arrives you just can't help it! How much earlier/later did you check your temps over the last 3 days, would using an adjuster make your chart any better??

@Mum2Girls19 your chart looks good. 12dpo is still a little early with a 17 day LP i think. But if your temps pick up again I'd be tempted to test.

I'm still approaching ovulation 😞. The last 2 months I've ovulated CD12 & 13. No signs of if showing anytime soon. I can ovulate as late as CD18 so still using OPKs until then. I'm also using seven seas Conception vitamins for the first time so not sure if that's going to mess with my cycle 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Luckily my temp dropped after that drastic increase! Not too sure what caused that! Relieved they are back down though and awaiting ovulation. Im taking evening primrose oil to hopefully increase EWCM this cycle, not too sure if that will affect/delay ovulation in any way.

@LemonDrizzle44 we are only a few days apart! Hope ovulation is just around the corner for us 😊

@cakelaur I’m really sorry, it’s really rubbish. I’ve tried really hard to stay positive as well like you, but felt like crying when I saw the test this morning. Hope you’re okay and treating yourself tonight to something delicious

How long are your cycles usually? (sorry if you have mentioned this before - it's hard to keep up with everyone 😊)
Your temps have been steadily rising since cd11 and given your positive ovulation tests, ovulation could have happened and then a possible imp dip on 8dpo.
I'm no expert as it's only my 2nd month of temping but here's hoping for you 😊
Have you taken a test?

@Drinksometeawithme they've removed your crosshairs from CD 13? You do have bigger temp rises for your last three temps, but with the positive opks and the EWCM you logged, I'd have thought it was CD13. However I am not very good at the temping at all.... Last cycle I ovulated right before my period was due for some reason, and my luteal phase pushed out correspondingly, and I'd had high (but not peak) opk's and EWCM at the times I'd usually have ovulated

@Natalie3387 my cycle is normally 30 days but I've recently had the odd cycle if that makes sense. I've taken a test this morning bfn 😞

If I change the settings to advanced they give me crosshairs for cd13, but everyone always says to stay in fam settings as they are more accurate. But I had advanced settings on in Jan when i had my chem and it was spot on... so a little confused really. I think something like you explained happened to me in January, had a weird month December, completely missed my period in January ended up with a positive test cd 50. Only knew when I had ovulated through temping x

@Drinksometeawithme hmm if it has worked for you in advanced before, I'd be tempted to keep it in advanced and just have sex throughout the cycle every 2-3 days to ensure you're covered. But I don't use FF so don't have any experience of the different modes sorry.

How are all of your temp drops prior to period arriving? 11 dpo, and my temp has dropped a little from 36.77 to 36.66 - wondering if this will be the start of period. Do yours tend to drop off abruptly or descend slowly, and is it usually very much in advance of the period? Thank you - my cycles are a bit over the place since a mc, and I've been trying to lengthen luteal phase so not sure what's normal for me

I think I was covered hun. I think I will go with advanced which means I'm now 10 dpo. The fact I had a negative frer this morning had made me think I'm out this month.
My temps are usually quite good. You can see the difference when they rise and fall. My temps seems to do a proper nose dive day before aunt flo arrives x

@Drinksometeawithme phew that's good! So annoying not knowing what's going on in any given cycle, esp if its not a good as usual. 10 days is still early, so hopefully not out 🤞

Thanks for the response on the period temps, really appreciated. There's so much to figure out and learn with all this stuff, and its hard to tell from my charts whether they're normal looking

My temps did decrease slowly from 11dpo until 15dpo when the witch arrived but I knew she was on her way because of how I felt. Hopefully it's not the same for you 🤞

@Natalie3387 thanks. I read the FF lessons and it said dramatic drop should occur, but other tutorial sites have said can go slowly down over a couple days. Seems its pretty much like everything else to do with TTC, and nearly everything can go any way 🤣🤣🤣

When I fell pregnant in October I think we dtd once in the whole cycle. Sadly lost the pregnancy at just over 7 weeks.

Now I'm literally tracking everything, checking toilet paper daily, waking up at silly o'clock to temp & pissing on flipping sticks every day! So stressful this TTC lark isn't it!
