Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

Google isn't kind sometimes when I search low luteal phase temps!
Since my miscarriage I have been spotted for a few days prior to full flow AF but this time the spotting has started 10 days before AF is expected. While I'm hopeful it's implantation spotting, I realise it could be AF on her nasty way!
(I did spot for 4 days around this time on my last unsuccessful pregnancy)

How are you today? Have you tested this morning?

@Natalie3387 fingers crossed it's implantation bleeding and you get your BFP!
I haven't tested today. My temp slightly dropped this morning but Is still much higher than what it usually is for 14dpo. I'm going to see what happens tomorrow, if temps still dropping I know I'm out!

Hi all can I join? Cycle #3 TTC, I'm 7DPO. First cycle tracking BBT. Temps nice and high but time is dragging. No symptoms at all so far.

@LemonDrizzle44 sending you lots of luck for tomorrow! How long have you been TTC if you don't mind me asking? This waiting game is torture isn't it!

I can't offer much on your chart as it's my first time BBT charting too! Although I know of a few girls with absolutely no symptoms leading to Bfp, fingers crossed for you!
How long are your cycles usually?

Hi @Natalie3387 I'm on CD19 and my cycle is usually 27 days so still a while to go. The waiting is agonising isn't it?

@hopefulhedgehog it really is! Our bodies enjoy playing cruel tricks as well don't they! Let's pray for our happy endings ☺️
Are you TTC your first or have you got children?

@Natalie3387 thanks 😊. This is my 8th cycle. Starting to get me down a bit now as I'm desperate for it to happen now with each passing month! Started off casual just tracking BBT to make sure I was ovulating and DTD regularly throughout my cycle (as I have slightly irregular cycles). Have added in OPKs for last 2 cycles now (without DP knowing 🤦🏻‍♀️).

@LemonDrizzle44 I can't say I know how you feel but I've been there too. It took us over a year to conceive before we sadly lost the baby at just over 7 weeks.
We were about to have tests done but them it happened when we relaxed and tried not to monitor everything.
However now, I'm back to tracking literally everything 🙈
Do you have any symptoms this cycle?

@Natalie3387 sorry for your loss. Your made to think at school it's soo easy to fall pregnant but in reality it's not.
This cycle I've had cramps and stitch type pains since 6dpo. I've felt a little bit nauseous and very sore boobs.

It took my friend 2 years to conceive. She tried alsorts. The month she feel pregnant she was using magnesium oil and she is sure it was that although it could have been a total coincidence.
I'm good at convincing myself every month that I'm pregnant with any type of symptom! This month I'm trying to hold out testing, apart from the spotting and sore boobs I havent really had any other symptoms this time around.

@Natalie3387 I try not to symptom spot but this month it's been hard. Felt more positive this month as I ovulated on CD12 and we DTD CD7,8,10,11 & 12. So I covered my entire fertile period. Will be disappointed if AF shows her face on Wednesday.

I've had a temp spike this morning 9dpo. Not sure what that means. I have zero symptoms this cycle so I am the opposite of symptom spotting and instead convincing myself the lack of symptoms must be good!

16dpo today and temperature plummeted below cover line this morning which means AF will arrive tomorrow 😞 feeling down about it all this morning. Not sure whether to try next month as really don't want a December/early January due date.

This is my chart so far. I'm on 11dpo. Had a slight temp drop this morning, no idea what to expect though with it being my first time tracking BBT. I've had very light pink/brown spotting since 6dpo. Still going on now so I've not a clue what's happening!

Sorry to hear @LemonDrizzle44 although you're not out until the witch arrives. It's hard work this TTC, sending you lots of positive thoughts xx

I'm cd9 today! Had mega ewcm today. And hubby goes away for two nights tomorrow, so we DTD the last two nights just incase!! 🤞🏻

@lemondrizzle44 having the same thoughts as you, can't decide what to do but I'm probably leaning towards trying just because it doesn't seem to be working; perhaps sods law would give me my BFP and then be due just before Christmas.

First day of CB OPK for me today. Like you @cakelaur there was a noticeable amount of EWCM today but low result on OPK. Temp pretty average this morning. DD has still been waking at ludicrous times so not always been charting BBT but will have to ensure I'm taking it all this week and next if I decide we're DTD!

Yes I got a peak on day 6 and 7 using clear blue digital ovulation kit but I didn't see a temp rise and my luteul phase would have been too long.
However I had Ecwm around the time FF detected a possible ovulation and got my temp rise on CD15.
My temp dropped slightly again today (expecting AF on Sunday) but the spotting has completed stopped so I'm a little confused!

AF has arrived in full force today. On to the next cycle! On the plus side I can now have my second covid vaccine in 2/3 weeks!
@ContadoraExplorer that's my thoughts! Sod's law is next month is my month 😂 I think we'll continue trying as don't want to stop. Baby's tend to be really early in my family anyway!

@lemondrizzle44 would that stop the vaccine? That is one of my only concerns about getting pregnant just now; not being able to get it when my time comes because I'm all for vaccinating and getting back to some sort of normality where I can see my friends and family again.

My Ovia app has updated my fertile week to right now. Still getting low results on the CB OPK's but we DTD last night anyway, decided I don't want to miss a month, I'm not getting any younger unfortunately.

@ContadoraExplorer they only recommend the vaccine when your pregnant if your a frontline worker or clinically vulnerable I believe. I work for NHS and see covid patients so I probably would have been advised to have the vaccine. I had my first dose in January and didn't want to stop TTC. I thought 1 dose was better than none (and I've had covid too). If I had fallen pregnant this month, having the second dose doesn't particularly sit right with me as it's just too unknown.

Hi everyone! Still in second month of temping... chart seems a bit erratic again!
I’ve got my blood results back from GP but don’t know if they’re normal or not?

If anyone knows about these things it’d be much appreciated! I am struggling to find stuff on internet weirdly.

@lemondrizzle44 good to know. One other question, which you may or may not know: do the scientists involved in the vaccines monitor the frontline NHS staff who are pregnant and vaccinated as part of their studies? Hate to think of them as guinea pigs but if they are having the jag whilst pregnant they are effectively an experiment?

I do hope that they can prove its safe soon cause I really want the vaccine!

@slothmamatobe sorry I don't know anything about the bloods. Did your doctor not explain it when they gave you the results?

No I just spoke to the receptionist who said she ‘thought’ they were normal 😕. I have to wait for another month to do my day 21 bloods due to bank holiday, but I will request a review with the GP after that I think.
My temp has spiked this morning, day 11 , if it dips tomorrow then perhaps I will be ovulating 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Re the vaccine - I’ve had both my jabs now - also work in nhs. I have a feeling you get offered more scans if you’ve had the vaccine in pregnancy but I could be wrong. The scientists are pretty sure (have done animal experiments) that there is no likelihood of it detrimentally impacting on pregnancy. It is a non live vaccine and we already give other non live vaccines like flu and whooping cough in pregnancy.
