I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 thank you. I think if DP was here I'd hold it all in. So in a way I'm glad I can let it out while he's not here 😂. Your hcg sounds good. Spotting is fairly common in the early stages. Have you got any pain at all? Hopefully will be good news tomorrow for you!

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 09/06/2021 16:45

@LemonDrizzle44 I think it's easier when they're away tbh to have some time on your own!

I'm not sure, apparently my hcg is at a threshold where they should see the location of the pregnancy, and not seeing it indicates an ectopic. I've had no pain beyond mild twinges, so nothing to do but wait I guess

SlothMamaToBe · 10/06/2021 06:51

@LemonDrizzle44 I’m sorry you’ve been feeling low. I can totally relate. I never thought I’d be over a year in with no sign of pregnancy either. It’s good you are getting things checked out though. I have my scan this afternoon actually and DP semen analysis in august. I was hoping we’d end up not needing the appointments but it’s looking less likely as each cycle goes by. M not sure what the answer is as it really is so painful but do he gentle with yourself and allow yourself to feel what you are feeling 💜.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 sorry to hear about the scan, that must have been worrying. It could be that because you are early stages they just missed it maybe ? Got everything crossed for you that things ok.

Thanks for input re DPs ejaculation everyone - it’s reassured me. I also put my legs up and a pillow under my bum too ! Also used a fertil-lily on and off but it is quite awkward - I could try moon cup though .

ContadoraExplorer · 10/06/2021 11:15

Sorry things are so rubbish @lemondrizzle44 absolutely come vent here any time you need to.

@slothmamatobe I know you have it booked but my DH bought a kit online to test his sperm count if that is any good before the official ones. It put his mind at ease and actually made things a bit easier for BD as I think he was quite worried.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/06/2021 12:31

Thank you, they found a small sac today in the right place, Andy levels had almost tripled so they don't think it's an ectopic. Feeling so relieved

ContadoraExplorer · 10/06/2021 13:17

Thats awesome news @a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 Hope that puts your mind at ease and you can start looking forward to all the things to come 😊😊

SlothMamaToBe · 10/06/2021 13:42

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 fantastic news!! So pleased all is well.

@ContadoraExplorer which kit did you use? I might look into that , thank you x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 10/06/2021 14:02

Thank you, I couldn't sleep last night googling ectopic pregnancies 🙈

We bought a sperm test in Boots, I think it was cheap, and my partner felt better having seen no major issues. It was a sliding scale of purple to show count I think

ContadoraExplorer · 10/06/2021 18:16

Yeh it was a couple of years ago @slothmamatobe but I think it was either Boots or off Amazon

LemonDrizzle44 · 10/06/2021 21:06

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 that's great news!!! So pleased for you.

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/06/2021 17:22

@LemonDrizzle44 thank you!

How's everyone getting on? Hope you have lovely weekends in the sun!

Hopefulhedgehog · 11/06/2021 17:35

7dpo here! Feeling pretty chilled this month so far. On holiday for next 2 weeks so will pack a test just in case but won’t be counting down the days.

That’s super news about your scan @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 - great to hear.

Happy Friday everyone x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 11/06/2021 17:36

Have a lovely holiday @Hopefulhedgehog !

ContadoraExplorer · 14/06/2021 11:58

How is everyone doing this week? Nice weekend in the sunshine?

I'm CD14 today, had a peak yesterday and we managed a BD at nap time as well as one earlier in the week. Don't think we'll manage today, we're going to try first thing but DD woke up sharp so we had to get up instead and now the inlaws are here... unless we can manage a quickie if they take her out for the afternoon 🙈

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 11:59

@ContadoraExplorer it looks like lovely weather for the park, bet she'd love some grandparent time! I'm clearly voting quickie! Although looks like you've covered your bases

ContadoraExplorer · 14/06/2021 12:43

Haha @a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it's a bit blustery up here today and the rain at 5.30 this morning was crazy and think showers are forecast.

Plus, and I don't know why I forgot about this, but it's the Scotland match at 2pm so DH is unlikely to be happy to be dragged away, I know where I stand in terms of priorities today 🤣🤣

How are you feeling?

Natalie3387 · 14/06/2021 15:12

Hi ladies,
I hope you're all doing well.
I had hoped to be updated with good news. Unfortunately it's not 😔 I have sadly suffered another MMC. We found out last week that our baby's heartbeat had stopped at 8 weeks. Totally devastated and heartbroken all over again. Second MMC in 6 months with no living children 💔

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 15:19

@Natalie3387 I'm so so sorry, that's awful news xxx

ContadoraExplorer · 14/06/2021 16:21

@natalie3387 so sorry to hear that :(

ContadoraExplorer · 14/06/2021 16:25

There's not much that any of us can say or do, we obviously don't know each other in RL but this is a nice supportive wee group we have going on so I hope you have support from your loved ones but if you need to talk to a (group of) stranger(s) then I'm happy to be an ear to bend x

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 16:34

@Natalie3387 I wanted to say the same as @ContadoraExplorer, we're here if you want to talk, or cry, or anything. It is a lovely supportive group, and often so much easier to be sad about this with people outside of your day to day life

LemonDrizzle44 · 14/06/2021 16:41

@Natalie3387 so sorry to hear your sad news. As contadora said if you need any support or to offload we're here. 🤗 x

@ContadoraExplorer sounds like you've hopefully covered the bases.

Im CD13 today. Negative OPKs so far. DP due home on Friday so hoping for another late ovulation otherwise I'm definitely out!

Natalie3387 · 14/06/2021 17:12

Thank you all. You are all so kind and have been supportive of my journey, always there to offer advice throughout. This forum brings comfort. My friends and family have been amazing but it can be difficult for others to understand especially if they have had no difficulties conceiving or holding on to a pregnancy.

The hardest part is the unknown. Why has it happened again? I'm trying so hard not to blame myself all over again and stay positive and know that one day we will get our happy ending, no matter how hard the journey may be.

The good news is that the consultant has told me I will be on a low dose asprin and progesterone on my next BFP (although we are definitely taking a break from TTC)She has finally agreed to request testing with my GP. If that brings no answers then I will seek out a reproductive endocrinologist and pay privately. Maybe there is nothing wrong, maybe I've had extrememely bad luck but I know I can't emotionally go through this again.

I wish you girls lots of luck and thank you 💕

A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 · 14/06/2021 17:42

@Natalie3387 it's absolutely nothing you have done, or not done, and it's so so unfair it's happened twice 😢
It's difficult to imagine when you're in the middle of it, but you will get your happy ending. I'm so glad they'll be giving you the baby aspirin and the progesterone for next time. I'm on a thread where women have had multiple miscarriages and its working for them this time around so far. Tests also sounds good, even just for peace of mind.
Ugh I'm just really sad for you. Take a break, plan nice things, and reassess when you're ready xx

LemonDrizzle44 · 15/06/2021 18:43

CD14 today and wondering if I missed my peak. I have a very quick peak usually. If I have then should ovulate tonight. Shame DP is working away but on the positive I can drink and not get bogged down with symptom spotting in the TWW. Also means a relatively short 30 day cycle so can get my bloods done next cycle!
Don't think my GP understands the bloods. Was trying to get me booked in for this week and every test was on the one form. I'm pretty sure the day 21 bloods need a separate form?
