Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

Hey, 6dpo here...no man’s land! High and steady temps so just waiting now. We are away next weekend and will be drinking so I will likely test next Thursday/Friday at 12 or 13dpo if I can hold out until then. How are you getting on @A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 ?

@Hopefulhedgehog that sounds like a good plan! No mans land is a good description, the first week after ovulation is boring.

Okay here thanks, off out in a bit for dinner and a few drinks. I had a positive opk today, a bit early, and no cm to speak of, so not sure what's going on. But will see on temps if I ovulate tomorrow.

The wait really is the worst. Having time away might help though @hopefulhedgehog something to distract you from the constant symptom spotting!

I think we're probably out before we really begin this month because we're going to the inlaws for a few days (overnights allowed from Monday). I'm CD11, had high on my OPK yesterday but will probably ovulate CD13/14 but we'll be in the room next door. DtD last night just in case and will again on Sunday but it's going to be difficult.

My temps are weirdly steady this week!

@contadoraexplorer twice is definitely enough! Have a lovely trip. Well I had a couple of cocktails and a very late night so my reading is not accurate, but temp hasn’t spiked yet. Was fun to get out though, did try to sit quite a few rounds out though or have soda and lime as it’s around ovulation.

Finally had a positive OPK last night which means I usually ovulate overnight but didn't get a temp rise this morning. Hoping to ovulate today, but am CD19 so this is going to be a long cycle! On the plus side DP surprised me and came home from working away for the weekend so have been able to DTD. Really thought I would be out this month.

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 did you ovulate in the end? My EWCM seemed to disappear this month around my positive opk.

@LemonDrizzle44 that’s great news about your partner surprising you, and perfect timing if you didn’t ovulate overnight!

Got another positive opk today, so app has changed my ovulation to tomorrow. And a tiny amount of ewcm this morning. Normally get a lot more, and one opk, maybe it’s the acupuncture I started

Got my first temp rise today hoping FF will confirm in the next couple of days. Really hate the TWW.

Can I ask has anyone had three days of positive opks but still no temp shift? I don’t have any fertile cm today and have had very little. I’m using digitals, but the ones that only track LH. Not sure what’s going on, but getting kind of tired of so much sex

This is my first month 'charting' and its using the Ava bracelet so I'm hoping you can shed some light...
I had a false positive on 9/10 DPO and today is 11/12 DPO so I'm 99% certain I'm out. But just wondered what you ladies thought of my chart? What on earth is that dip? I foolishly assumed implantation when I got my false positive preg test but now I guess its just a random dip...

Welcome @MrsTwentyNine - your chart looks a bit all over the place and you’ve missed a few days (after your positive I guess). There isn’t much evidence that an implantation dip really exists and lots of people get a dip before the second oestrogen surge. So sorry about your dodgy test - have you taken an FRER? You are still quite early to be testing but that should be realisable in next day or two.

Ahh absolutely gutted ☹️ You're right , I'm sure AF will rear her ugly head Tuesday but I will wait! Took a FRER yesterday and stark white 😣 How are you? Are you TTC 1? I'm TTC 1 and this was cycle 7 sigh ...

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I had 3 days of pos opk last month! I think just best to keep trying until had your shift - bit of a pain though!

I’m doing ok CD8 , so nothing exciting. I’ve had some more bloods done so will check results next week. I’m still going to try but not try if that makes sense - I’m keeping tabs on temp and I’ll do opk but where poss going to try not to obsess too much ... will see what happens with symptom spotting in tww though 😬😂🤦🏻‍♀️.

@MrsTwentyNine welcome. Your temps are a little erratic. After a few months of temping you should hopefully see a pattern. I usually get a dip 5-6dpo due to a secondary oestrogen surge.

@SlothMamaToBe glad your doing ok. It's good you've had bloods done. If AF arrives this month I will be booking bloods I think. I've used all my OPKs and have decided not to obsess anymore as it's not doing me any good. Although knowing me I'll probably buy some more OPKs next month 🤦🏻‍♀️😂.

That’s fab on the bloods, fingers crossed all’s good 🤞 Sex but less tracking sounds good also.
@LemonDrizzle44 what tests will you get? Mine at the GP were rubbish and very limited, I’m going to get a private fertility check next month I think

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I'm going to start with the basic day 3 and day 21 bloods for LH, FSH and progesterone. DP will probably try and get SA. Depending on these results I may look at more tests privately or see what GP can offer. I have some symptoms of PCOS so would like this looked into.

@LemonDrizzle44 thank you. This is what I was hoping the GP would give me but they said they couldn’t. I think those are the tests in the fertility MOT package I looked at but I’ll double check

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 wow another positive opk!! Sounds promising! Very surprised your GP can’t do those tests... I think they are pretty standard with NHS? Luckily my GP was happy to refer and get bloods done straight away.

@SlothMamaToBe it seems like my body can’t ovulate 🙁 just keeps gearing up and failing. I tho if they i was having day 3 bloods, but they were just general hormone and thyroid checks. I called them to get my results and GP said (even tho I’m over 35) they cannot do any fertility investigations until I’ve been trying from two years since my miscarriage. MC was seven months ago, so she advised I go private for a semen analysis.

Oh and the only thing they could offer me was a chlamydia test, for the spotting before my period 😂 even though she agrees this could be a progesterone issue after I raised it, she refused me a day 21 check and left me a self swab chlamydia test 🙈

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I got offered one at my smear for the exact same reason.

I still haven't had a peak on OPK yet. I had a really low temp the other morning but I discounted it because I jumped out of bed to get DD before I tested, came back and lay for a bit then tested but it's obviously not a proper BBT.

Having it excluded was giving me dotted crosshairs on Friday as my temp has been up since then but only in the low 97's which is my normal temp at that stage. Will see what happens with OPK.

10dpo here and still managing to stay away from the tests... If my temps are still up I will test on Friday as we plan to be drinking this weekend. AF not due until next Tuesday. I have a 16 day luteal phase so it’s such a long wait!!!
