Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

@ContadoraExplorer how was your trip? Maybe your body was waiting til you are at home again to peak, so you get more chances this month :)

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 we're still here, managed a v quick BD this morning so see how it goes. OPK was high again this morning but using IC's and saw a slight line whete we hadn't had one before so think it might still be in the post 🤞🤞

@ContadoraExplorer good effort, its so hard when you're staying in other peoples homes! I've had five days of peak now, I think this must be a dodgy cycle, and its so annoying as have put loads of effort in!

@A1b2c3d4e5f6g7 your GP sounds a bit rubbish - is there another one you could speak to instead? I’m sure there will be some NICE guidelines on what tests DST should be offering .

@hopefulhedgehog I finally got my peak on OPK this morning! FF had given up and was predicting ovulation from my temps only, saying I was 3 DPO but now I've confused it and it's removed the crosshairs!

I knew my temps weren't high enough to have ovulated though so thought it was either going to be late or not at all. I also knew as soon as I woke up it would be peak as I physically feel like I'm ovulating now so expect my temps to rise tomorrow or Friday.

Now to try and sneak in some more BD today... wonder if the GPS will take DD a wee walk 🤞

@SlothMamaToBe I’ve spoken to two gps at the same surgery. They are a bit crap. Where are you in your cycle now?

I’ve had another day of positive opk- six now - temps are very low

@ab2c3d4e5f6g7 i forget, is it just the pink CB ones you're using? If so, it might just be like me, getting high results but not a full peak? I tried an IC last night and got nothing but did another along with my CB and could see a faint line so maybe try one of those if you have one?

@ContadoraExplorer good memory, yes the pink CB ones. Ah okay I didn't realise, I've used them the last couple months also. I'll try and get some cheapies today thanks!

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 I'm just thinking because if you get a line on an IC that it's definitely to do with the LH whereas my CB's (the digital one) detects other hormones first.

@ContadoraExplorer ah no I don’t have the fancy clear blue one, I have the cheaper one that just detects LH. I’ve pulled the test out and it has two dark lines inside. I will pick up some cheaper line ones today tho for tomorrow.
I was buying digital to take the guesswork out 😂

I’m CD12 today, only got 2 opk sticks left so hoping I detect my surge today or tomorrow! Was day 11 last cycle.

Was cautiously optimistic about my chart as have had high temps the last couple of days. 12dpo today and I caved and did a test this morning - stark white negative. That one hurt - bit gutted. I know there’s still a small chance but I’m realistic that’s me almost certainly out for the month.

@Hopefulhedgehog 😕 sorry to hear that. How long are your cycles ? Is there a chance still too early to test?

AF is due on Tuesday but at 12dpo I’d expect to see something on an IC if this was my month - there is still a small chance I guess. The disappointment hurts doesn’t it?!

@Hopefulhedgehog it always hurts more when you’ve put in a lot of effort or the signs are good I find. 37 degrees is so high for a 12 dpo temp. It’s sucks I’m sorry xx

I finally got a zero opk, very relieved. My chart is so odd, got the ovulation dip with my first positive opk, then got it again today, so hoping for a temp rise tomorrow morning

Now I’ve got cramps and spotting as if AF about to arrive 5 days early!? Not sure what is going on!

@Hopefulhedgehog you you normally spot 5 days before AF. Otherwise could be a good sign?? I hope it is. I'd be POAS!!!
