Entering the TWW with BBT charts

I FINALLY got my rise! Positive opk was 3 days later than usual and ovulation seems later than usual too after the peak! 🙈

BUT I'm in the TWW officially!! Who's with me?! I plan to analyse everything and I'll probably test early with cheapies for a laugh! No point in pretending I'll be calm and controlled throughout this TWW!!

Officially 3rd month TTC baby number 3. But had a few months before that "seeing what happens" DS 2 and DS 11months.

Anyone wanna embrace the crazy with me?!

My temp last month didn't drop until 2 days after af showed! 🙈
But my body is defo messed up this month. My temps are high when they should be low and visa versa. I've given up! 8dpo today... just awaiting af!

@cakelaur have you had any more spotting?

@Cakelaur this might sound stupid sorry, but did you adjust for the clocks changing? I’m pretty new to temping so did the FF studies, and then played about with an adjuster and was surprised how much difference an hour
makes. I hadn’t adjusted mine but if I had the curve is smoother

Well girls I'm 11 dpo and test was negative again this morning.. really thought it could be my month 😞

@drinksometeawithme What did you use to test? I was 11 or 12 DPO when I got a squinter on a FRER the last time and a good few days after that before anything appeared on an IC.

According to FF I'm 10 DPO (although from Ovia I thought 9). Despite my negativity about this month, my temps are a lot higher compared to last month and much more consistent with the last time I got a BFP but BFN for me this morning too. I'm getting different dates for AF from both apps so just going to play it by ear and see if she appears in the next 7 days.

Thank you @a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 and @drinksometeawithme. It was such a difficult & emotional time after months of trying our hopes and dreams came true only to be snatched away a matter of weeks later. The doctors and midwives assured me I would be more fertile after my pregnancy loss but I seem to be proving them wrong right now.

Good luck ladies I hope AF stays away. I didn't get my BFP until 14dpo, I guess it depends how late implantation takes place and how long HCG levels take to rise. Stay hopeful 💞

My chart is looking very odd. I'm on cd12 today and still no flashing smile on clear blue digital, last month I ovulated on CD15 so was expecting one by now. Also my temps are very low. This morning it was 96.65, I've heard low follicular temps can be an issue. I suffer with raynauds so not sure that can affect my BBT in any way.

@Natalie3387 I mc at seven weeks also, and five months later I haven't gotten pregnant again, so I'm proving them wrong also :( Hopefully it'll happen soon for us.

@Drinksometeawithme FF analysed their pregnancy charts, and the average positive was 13.6 dpo, with negatives in the days before. Only 10% had a positive for 10dpo. So if your temps are higher, that's hopefully good news!

Out of interest how high are they? 12 dpo and mine are 36.66 and were the same yesterday, but have stepped down a bit from the 36.77 they were at previously.

@a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 it won't let me attach a photo of my chart, either on the app or Web browser so going to report this post to the admin team and see if they can help.

In any case, last month I tracked around 97.4⁰F but this month I've been around the 98⁰F mark (can't seem to change the Ovia app to Celsius so always temp in Fahrenheit.

@ContadoraExplorer I've just popped the 98 into a calculator, and it is exactly the same as my last two temps bizarrely 36.66 !

I don't pay for FF (yet!) so can't overlay my charts but I have an excel version because I'm a saddo who loves a spreadsheet! I have it set to compare my last pregnancy and last month and its definitely much closer in temp and pattern to my BFP so hopefully those temperatures mean something for us both! 🤞

I'm getting so fed up of trying now, it is really not fun.

I know, its always these last few days of the 2ww for me that I find so tough. The am I / aren't I (I'm probably not!) but the uncertainty and waiting around. Plus prodding my boobs which are sore, to check they still are, worrying about stomach cramps lessening, and now temperatures changing etc 😂

Hey girls can I join with my chart please? I'm cycle 6 of ttc #1 and have been tracking the whole time. Had a chemical in January and this is the first month I've been back in the game and def ovulated according to FF. Would love to see some of your charts too!

My chart looks a bit rubbish in comparison. Ignore the really high spike on the 1st, coincided with a few drinks. It’s the temps being a little lower the last two days that I’m guessing don’t look promising

I don't think that Celsius looks quite as dramatic as Fahrenheit so might be, at least in part, to do with that?

Ugh just had some pink cm, so at 12 dpo I think that means period must be on its way

I don’t know because I’ve been trying to lengthen my luteal phase. Flo is estimating 3 days, but it’s a total estimate

Sorry to hear @a1b2c3d4e5f6g7 its such a horrible thing to go through especially at the time we did. I don't know about you but I had to go in for the scan alone due to covid. My partner had to wait outside.

Did your cycles change at all following the miscarriage? Mine have increased by a couple of days & I don't seem to get very much fertile cm anymore at all. Also I've noticed spotting for 4-5 days prior to AF.

Have you tried changing temps to Fahrenheit? Mine look better this month after switching from Celsius - the difference is clearer.

@natalie3387 I had a CP in October and my cycles have been bonkers ever since; random spotting, different length of cycle etc. It seems quite common but doesn't help us TTC!

@Natalie3387 yes I had the scans alone, partner stayed at home, to be honest I actually preferred it that way. Think it let me stay more together when they said the news.

Yeah my cycle has been all over the place since! Its now 4 days shorter, ovulation has been late, little cm also, and yes weird spotting 2 days before period which I never had before! Do you know anything we can do to get it back to normal?

@ContadoraExplorer no it definitely doesn't make it very easy! Sorry to hear yours have been a bit crazy also. No medicine, I tried soy isoflavones this cycle as read they're meant to reset you.

Evening all! I'm CD15 today. Still no sign of ovulation although didn't use OPKs today as I'm pissed off 😤 DP has annoyed me today so currently not talking to him. Tonight was a DTD night but quite frankly I don't want to be near him, Sod's law I'll probably ovulate 😂🤷🏻‍♀️.
