Thanks for setting it up @sickofthisyear.

@climbershell I was thinking you thought it could be implantation bleeding but if you spot for a few days in advance then it’s hard to say. I don’t get spotting so if I start bleeding I know AF is imminent Hmm

I do wonder if I even ovulated this month, or if the acupuncture and or supplements have made all the PMS calm down, tomorrow onwards should tell when they’re due to kick in.

Misty84 · 03/03/2021 14:35

Nice one @sickofthisyear 👏🏻🙌

@climbershell I usually kid myself for a bit that it might be implantation bleeding but then give up and surrender to the dreaded AH! ☹️

TTCat39 · 03/03/2021 14:47

Thank you for setting up a new thread!

@climbershell My AF / spotting isn't consistent either. I don't get any spotting mid cycle or anything like that, but my CM goes pink a few days before AF, off and on, and the stringy bits are also inconsistent. Then AF does a disappearing act after 3 days and then unceremoniously reappears for a day before buggering off again.

Magnum99 · 03/03/2021 14:58

Thanks @sickofthisyear

I'll repost my question on here in case it gets missed...

Who has had a CP?
I'm not sure if I had one last month. AF lasted 7 days and then seemed to come to an end and then started again but like a new AF with fresh blood.
I've spoken to GP and she's sending me for a scan to make sure nothing more serious.
But just wondering if this sounds like it could be due to CP? Maybe my body is still trying to flush something out?
Or could it be signs of early menopause?

Noodella18 · 03/03/2021 15:24

Thanks @sickofthisyear

My easy@home ovulation tests have arrived and all of the instructions are in foreign languages! Argh!

@magnum99 I had on in October. Not sure how much help I'll be as it was my first cycle after a MMC and I'd bled from the miscarriage for about 6 weeks so had no idea where my cycle was. I started feeling queezy and very tired so tested and got a faint positive result. I carried on testing over the week and it never got darker. In the end I went for a blood test at the epu and they confirmed it. I think I then started to bleed a few days later.

It sounds like it potentially maybe, I've check my chart and think I bled for 12 days with mine. I have no idea what's 'normal' though I'm afraid

I'm pretty sure I have these ones. I'll take a look this evening and can screenshot you the instructions if you like. Unless someone gets chance to do it before me
KG1145 · 03/03/2021 16:02

Do you guys use the app or the website, I don't find either very user friendly, not sure if I'm missing something...

selina37 · 03/03/2021 16:19

Oops posted on the old thread...

Hello all, just marking a spot on the thread.

Sorry to all those with BFNs or spotting. I know how irritating spotting is, totally takes away any hope and it means you end up living in disappointment rather than hope!!

Do you mean for Mumsnet? I only use the app. It's not ideal, but not awful. What are you having trouble with?

Thanks for setting up the new thread. Just marking my place whilst I catch up!

KG1145 · 03/03/2021 17:18

I wonder if there's a different app. The one I downloaded is called Talk and it always takes me to the beginning of a thread and there no option of choosing a page or selecting to see newest messages first. Scrolling through 1000 messages is one way of spending the tww I guess 😉

sickofthisyear · 03/03/2021 17:32

@KG1145 I think that's the same as mine. I don't know if there's a way to change in settings, but I just use the arrows in the top right to 'flip' the thread. That takes you to the last post so not so much scrolling needed?

Hi,
Joining the thread.
I'm 37 TTC #1.

KG1145 · 03/03/2021 17:44

@sickofthisyear ah ha that's sorted it. The flip option for me was in a seperate menu at the moment but I've found it now. Much better!

Loladoodle · 03/03/2021 17:44

Thanks for the new thread. Marking my spot! Will try catch up on how everyone is doing when I get a minute 😅

Misty84 · 03/03/2021 18:09

Hi @pinkpirlie 👋🏻
How long have you been TTC for? I’m also trying to conceive my first 🙏

Kitekat81 · 03/03/2021 18:29

Thanks @sickofthisyear for setting up the new thread!

Welcome @pinkpirlie 👋

Well I'm starting the new thread with some not great news. Finally got my AMH result, two weeks after the test. My score was 2.2 so pretty low. Not completely surprised as my follicle count was also low, but still it's a disappointment. It means that I would have a "reduced" response to ivf stimulation and lower chance of success if we do end up going down that road.

climbershell · 03/03/2021 18:34

I have no idea at all of this is related or work stress, but I was at my laptop thinking of the possibility of taking on my first employee, and then get up to cook

10 mins later I feel v sick, dizzy, headache. No more blood but still got pmt kinda cramps.

Maybe dehydrated, but I've had about 5 cups of decaf tea and 500ml or so of squash and been an admin/quoting not active day

pinkpirlie · 03/03/2021 18:39

@misty84
Thank you
Actively we are in cycle 2, just ovulated.
But we haven't been careful since last summer.

@Kitekat81
Sorry to hear about your results. I hope that in spite of them you'll still be successful in your journey.

Misty84 · 03/03/2021 18:54

@Kitekat81 I know how you feel as my AMH was 2.4 😔

Kitekat81 · 03/03/2021 19:07

It really sucks doesn't it @Misty84 😔

Misty84 · 03/03/2021 19:10

@Kitekat81 Did you get any advice moving forward?

Marvellouslymadmum · 03/03/2021 19:22

@Magnum99 I've had a couple of cp, it depends when in your cycle the bleeding was? It usually happens very soon after af was due and didn't happen

@KG1145 I use the app it works ok for thread chat, mines called Mumsnet talk and when I click on a thread there's two little arrows in the top right hand corner and if you click on those is goes to the newest posts and you just scroll back to the last messages you saw, hope that helps

@Kitekat81 sorry you didn't get great results, I'm not sure I'm looking forward to getting those tests done I'm sure they'll make me feel ancient!

Kitekat81 · 03/03/2021 19:26

@Misty84 they sent me about 6 pages of information with the result that I need to read. The next step would be to have a consultation, but I'll need to pay about £250 for that. I think we'll keep trying for a couple more cycles before we do that, as it's been an expensive cycle already with the hycosy and AMH test (£625 for those 😣) In April we'll have been trying for a year so I think that's the time to do the consultation. Will discuss with them about timescales for doing ivf later in the year (and I suppose about whether it's even worth doing with that AMH score). I don't want to rush into ivf but also don't want to put it off too long.
