Hi @Ailie12 thanks, yes been photographing on same surface and generally same time of day so the same lighting etc and uploading under ‘others’ as well.. so who knows.. it probably isn’t keen on my ‘other brand’ tests 😂

@Noodella18 yes, my partner hates it! Pre-seed too slippery and conceive plus he says feels like menthol 🤣

Another newbie ovulation tester question.. what’s your preference.. to pee on the stick or dip the stick? Reason I ask is that today I’m pretty sure I invalidated the test by getting wee on the test and control windows.. 🙊 I think dipping might actually be a bit less messy?

Another newbie but I dip. I have a designated little plastic cup in the bathroom for it ready! Not a hope in hell that I could hit a stick that small with out covering my hand 🤣🤣

@Farfaraway1 definitely in a pot, but I've still peed on my hand at least 3 times in the last week or so 🤣 the stream isn't always singular or going where expected 😆

@Farfaraway1 I dip, still manage to wee on my hand sometimes when trying to get it in the cup but don't get it all over the test 😂

@KG1145 great to hear about the cb digital! I know what you mean about not filling out the form though, everything's so exciting the first time then after mc it all gets a bit more cautious!

Wow not a clue what's going on with my body but there's definitely some hormones in there somewhere as sat balling my eyes out at the Marie Curie advert... all the feels!! ❤️

I'm 10dpo and so impatient this cycle! Did a test this morning and managed to mess it up I'm so used to peeing on a digital OPK and then standing it with tip down in a bathroom plant pot, that I just did the same thing with the cheapie pregnancy test. Of course the pee didn't even reach the control line and no amount of flapping it around or shaking it the other way up would help. Ah well, off to the shops and try again tomorrow.

@KG1145 that’s amazing. I am guessing you must’ve peed on the stick again by now and hoping it’s still a dark line. I can’t wait for you to fill those forms and get all your checks done. Your BFP will give all of us ladies here more hope! Trying to keep this space positive 🤞🏻

Haha our hormones are crazy!
I'm currently trying to work with a needy kitten, she's like a baby. So sleepy but crying because she can't settle and wants to be held lol she's only 9weeks old and after being asleep on my shoulder has settled on my table with her teddy 🤦🏽‍♀️❤️

@Lexber I have a very very needy Siamese kitten. For the first couple weeks he didn’t want to be put down.

I’m really trying to keep myself busy with life so I don’t become some crazed woman who only thinks about ttc! I think it’s so important to try and remain positive but also grateful for other things in life, otherwise I could see how all of this could consume you and drive you insane!

Cute kitten @Lexber I currently have my puppy in my office with me, little sh!t keeps barking when I’m in the middle of video meetings! I’m yet to meet another female in my line of work and deal with middle aged, self important men all day, they look at my like I’m a psycho when I try and keep him quiet or even worse, pick him up and sit him on my lap 😂

Awwww @Lexber she's super cute!! When I got my last kitten he was teeny and spent the first few weeks on my shoulder under my hair or tucked into my jumper 😂 he's 9 months old now and still thinks my shoulder and boobs are his sleeping place 🙄

She's adorable most of the time, I suppose the neediness is practice for a baby... 🤣🤣

My pair are past needing me, so it's been a long time since I've been depended on!

@Marvellouslymadmum that’s adorable although I must say as cats grow older they become very self sufficient and independent to a large extent. They only approach you when they feel like it and when they’re not in the mood, nothing you would do could change their mind. I think that’s why I love them. They are adorable and loving but at the same time not suffocating and too needy. I keep trying to convince my husband to get a cat but he doesn’t want to get emotionally attached to them when they have a short life span... he knows cause he grew up with 7 cats at home!!!

@Twelvestars I've had cats all my life, 10 was the most we ever had and I currently have 4 lol I tend to make all of mine loving and soppy which works well as they'll come and give you a good snuggle but also happily go off on their own sometimes

I dip in my designated ramekin because the sticks are too expensive to accidentally flood in the stream and I try not to waste them @Farfaraway1

Also because if one does fail around ovulation I have the FMU ready to roll again.

Omg the cheap sticks do work for me! Finally a positive!! We dtd last 2 days, but better give OH warning, we need to go again tonight!

Hi all, may I join? Now that I'm 35 (as of last Friday) I feel it's time to introduce myself. I recognise a few names from the 15 month plus thread so hi 🙋🏾‍♀️ and hi to everyone else! Dh is 38 and we're heading to ivf. Initially it was due to male factor but that's now improved, and I'm now the issue 😬 low amh (5.4) but ok afc (12) and also suspected endo. Waiting for a laparoscopy at the end of the month and our ivf appointment is 6th April. Anyone else in a similar position? This is for our first and we've been ttc 18 months now.

I was talking about my 9 month old kitten earlier - he did something silly today, probably should've learned a valuable lesson from it, but I doubt it! Appears he decided to play with a wasp or a bee! 😂
