7 high days opk no peak yet!

Hi,

I’ve been ttc for around 7 months. Brought my first opk this month.

I had one day negative and just had my 7th day of high opk. This is now day 17.

Cycle is normally around 30/31 days.

Any advice or has anyone else had multiple high opks?

I have an investigative hysteroscopy on Monday and today I'm cd 14 and second day showing the flashing smiley face. If I ovulate before Tuesday this cycle will be a write off but I'll bounce back next cycle 😂

I’m doing ok thanks, nausea has kicked in the last few mornings, this morning has been much worse as I’ve been sick already so feeling a little rough.

@BellaBoo7 Yes, I keep reminding myself that too so I’ll take whatever comes if it means all is going well. Had to take a sick day as cannot get out of bed without feeling sick at the minute.

Hello ladies I'm doing fine. My hysteroscopy was normal. They said there's no reason I couldn't get pregnant. They said I've already passed peak fertility so probably my age is to blame that's why it's taking long 😕. Guess what? I ovulated the same day as my hysteroscopy. I was meant to wait a day or 2 after hysteroscopy to BD but I was disobedient 😂and BD late night same day as I felt fine and didn't want to waste an opportunity.

@BellaBoo7 wow time does fly!!!! Soon you'll be planning Baby2 😊. Believe me that once they grow up even the sleepless nights you'll miss it!

@AZ1992X sorry you've been feeling sick. But that's good news. Your hormones must be rising nicely. Luckily it lasts only a few months 🤞🤞. Have you talked to your GP? They might be able to prescribe something for sickness if it's too bad

Yes, that’s true. Woke up at 4am and vomited straight away and again just. Think it’ll just be a weekend in bed - didn’t leave much yday. If it carries on I’ll reach out to the GP.

So I’ve had to give in and ask if the GP will prescribe me something as I’m really struggling with sickness. Not even midday and I’ve been sick 5 times. The only thing keeping me going is that must be a good sign 🤞

@AZ1992X there’s no harm in asking them to help you, that’s what they’re their for. I’m sad to hear you are so sick but also pleased in a way of that makes any sense!

Hello ladies!

How is everyone doing?

Just a little update from me, I ended up really poorly by Friday as just wasn’t keeping any food or drink down at all and was getting severely dehydrated so ended up being admitted to hospital overnight to get fluids into me but was sent home Saturday afternoon feeling much better. They sent me for an early scan this evening and all is well so far - measuring 7 weeks 4 days with a heartbeat. Still a long way to go but all good so far x

@AZ1992X I’m sorry to hear that you was that ill but I am so pleased for you that you’ve hit 7 weeks and the heartbeat is there. This is your time 😊x

I'm sorry I've just been able to catch up on the messages. Crazy past few weeks at work. I don't even know what cd I'm at today to be honest 😂 but af just finished so there I go again trying because giving up isn't an option 😁. I have my ivf consultation in a couple of weeks and I'll start IVF as soon as possible.

@AZ1992X I'm sorry to hear you've been sick. However I'm very very happy you finally got your sticky bean and there's a heartbeat ❤️. How have you been feeling lately?

@BellaBoo7 how are you coping being a new parent? Have you already settled into a routine? It can be a bit overwhelming in the beginning but it's all so worth it ❤️

@Angie887 I love how positive you are I really hope you manage to get there before your ivf. I do have a friend who had a baby in Dec via ivf so it was all worth it for her.

I am doing well that you she is 3 weeks 3 days now 😱. No routine as such but I feel more like I know what I’m doing it’s just the nights that are hard x

I’m doing okay thanks other than being poorly again this past week, spent the night in hospital again Sunday night and then went in for the day Tuesday. Just been struggling with hydration and eating due to sickness. Even when taking anti sickness it hasn’t always worked and only seemed to ease if it went in via IV or injection. I’m hoping it’ll just be a few more weeks and start to ease. I should be 9 weeks tomorrow.

I have booked our first baby class to start on Tuesday luckily I have a friend with a baby the same age so we can go together

Sorry for the radio silence, still really unwell - been diagnosed with Hyperemesis gravidarum and had a few more hospital trips since. Finally decided to get signed off other than having just the odd day off. I’m hoping it’ll ease in upcoming weeks as I’m loosing weight and cannot afford to be. X

I'm starting my ivf injections in 2 weeks! I've just been accepted onto the access fertility refund programme for 3 IVF cycles. I'm over the moon but I'm still hoping I can be one of those women who fall pregnant just before starting IVF. I'm not tracking this month as I've been so busy and I thought I needed a break for my sanity.

@Angie887 that is great news. You will be on your pregnancy journey in no time 😊

Yes we are good thank you she tends to do 4-5 hour stretches at night so it’s not too bad but I do miss a full night lol. She’s just starting to be awake a bit more and interested in things x

@BellaBoo7 4-5 hours is great! You're very lucky. Probably when you start feeding her solid food she'll be sleeping whole night!

My daughter used to wake up every 2 hours when I was only breastfeeding her. As soon as started giving her a bottle and solid food with 6 months she started sleeping 4 hours. I was so happy for being able to have a whole 4 hours sleep at night 😂
