7 high days opk no peak yet!

Hi,

I’ve been ttc for around 7 months. Brought my first opk this month.

I had one day negative and just had my 7th day of high opk. This is now day 17.

Cycle is normally around 30/31 days.

Any advice or has anyone else had multiple high opks?

How are you getting on? Did you manage to speak to your gp about your treatment options?

When I was doing my bloods recently they did a routine swab test which picked up BV so I was on antibiotics the last cycle just before ovulation so not sure if that affected anything but at least they’ve picked it up and it’s been treated. (Had no symptoms so would never have known).

@AZ1992X good morning. I spoke to my GP last Friday she said NHS don't treat or test for ureaplasma so I ordered a private treatment online. Yesterday I got call from my GP again saying they decided to prescribe antibiotics to treat ureaplasma 🤦‍♀️.
I was treated for BV last month too which my GP picked up during consultation that's why I was on antibiotics. But I'm in favour of not stone should be left unturned so I decided to test again privately to make sure the BV had gone and to my surprise not only tested positive for BV again but I also tested for ureaplasma. I did have symptoms though. I also got my progesterone results back and that confirmed I ovulated last cycle despite my OV tests never been too positive.
I'm CD 4 today and I'm praying things work out fine and I don't have to skip this cycle.
When are you expecting ovulation? Is it next week?

@Angie887 Morning, that’s good that they’ve decided to treat it. Hopefully its only a short course of antibiotics and it shouldn’t affect this cycle too much.

Great news regarding your tests confirming ovulation, hopefully it’s just a matter of time for us both now. Yes only CD8 and I ovulate slightly later so towards the end of next week. When is yours due?

I started taking coq10 and I think I ovulated on Cd 13! First time ovulating this early! I'll take that as a good sign 😂

I’m well thank you - ovulation is today for me on CD17 so still got a while to go.

We're nearly ovulation buddies again! I'm 3dpo today. How are you feeling about this month?
I finished my antibiotics a day before I ovulated so I only BD on my ovulation day and a day after but I'm still expecting to be successful this cycle 😁😁
I can feel we're getting our miracles soon. This will be our month 🤞🤞

@Angie887 our lucky month was when we only caught the ovulation day and the day after 🤞🏼

@BellaBoo7 was it the day you got a peak on clearblue or the day you actually ovulated? My clearblue always show peak a day before my ovulation. Cheap opk will show peak a day after clearblue on my exact OV day and bbt will rise next day. This cycle i only managed to BD a day before my temperature rise. Anyway I'm ready for whatever comes my way. The worst could happen is getting another attempt which I'm very grateful for considering how many women out there who struggle to ovulate I feel very grateful for getting my egg out every cycle 🍳🥚😂

@Angie887 it was a Clearblue peak. That month I didn’t get any high I went straight from low to peak! I didn’t have any success at all with the cheap sticks tbh. So we did the 2 Clearblue peak days and thought we were out for that month, how wrong I was!

I'm 11dpo today and my temperatures are still high which is unusual. But I've only got BFN so I'm expecting AF at some point on weekend. I have booked my first appointment to look into IVF for early January. Hope I'm lucky by then and have to cancel it. How's everyone doing?

@Angie887 That’s positive, let’s hope it continues to stay high and you won’t need that appointment.

I’m doing ok thank you, no symptoms so fully expecting AF to arrive in a few days time.

Morning both,

AF was due by today and no sign this morning so decided to test. I got the vvv faintest line on the cheap strips so did an early detection one which had a slightly better line but still quite faint. It’s still so early so don’t want go get my hopes up in case it’s a chemical or doesn’t progress.

AF is due tomorrow for me and my temperatures were declining as usual but this morning it went back up! Last night I had the most horrible backache as if af was about to show but I thought it was side effect of a probiotic and pms together so I'm quite surprised as my temperature never went back up a day before af is due. I started taking this high strength probiotic so I'm putting all this symptoms down to it as my test was negative at 9dpo. I will see what happens tomorrow and if still no sign of AF I will then buy a test!

@Angie887 Thank you, that means a lot. I’m trying to keep very positive and keep smiling. Keeping my fingers crossed 🤞. I’m 12DPO, My luteal was always on the shorter side at 10-11 days every cycle.

Yes mine did the same, I had a decline in bbt so assumed AF was coming but it shot back up today. Could be a implementation dip. 9DPO is quite early for a bfp so I’m keeping everything crossed that AF stays away this month 💕

@Angie887 there’s deffo still hope I had a bfn at 9dpo I think my positive was at 11 as well 🤞🏼X

Thank you girls!!! You both give me so much hope! I haven't seen 2 lines in a HPT in 16 years so the day I see 2 lines i think I'll have a heart attack 😂😂. Trying not to get my hopes up because this probiotics is giving me some side effects so it could well be that. I'd have the surprise of my life if it isn't the probiotics after all as I barely caught my surge this month because of a infection

@Angie887 I think it was a Wilko own one but can’t remember for sure. when I got the positive it was on a paper one but was barely visible so I did a wilko one too (2 for £1 I think) that was stronger and then I went and got an early Clearblue x

@AZ1992X I’d say it looks like it’s getting thicker. If ur by a wilko I rate their cheap ones they got darker for me x
