Hi! :)

I'm 4dpo today. Had a mc last cycle so this cycle is all over the place. My boobs are currently so sore it is making me (probably foolishly) hopeful.

I'd love to get a thread running for some support. Anyone want to join?

@Catmum55566 probably Saturday as if BFN I’d quite like a couple of drinks on Sat night! Will be 11dpo so the longest I’ve ever held out for. Will also be a huge build up and massive disappointment of BFN so slightly dreading it. How about you? One negative I’m very aware of is my boobs feel fine. The one time I got pregnant I remember them being huge and seriously painful. Oh well, we shall see!

7dpo AF is due a week on Friday and I usually get two days spotting before so we’ll see.

Which cheap tests is everyone using?

I wasted a test this morning I’m only 9dpo so don’t know why I bothered but I’ve been so weepy the last few days I thought perhaps I’d test to see of course it was negative, I might give my last test to DH to hide until Monday to stop the temptation to test again!

@coffee1988 you are doing well to hold out ! I have no self control and I know I will test tomorrow at 9 dpo. However if I get a BFN at 10 dpo on Sat I will know I am out as something has shown by then in the past. I won't worry about the lack of symptoms at this stage. Fingers crossed you won't be able to have the drinks on Saturday 🤞

@Katiekattty I use the Easy@home ones and have always found them reliable. FRER don't seem to work for me until after I have got a digi result strangely.

@CosmicMonkey sorry about the BFN but lots of people get a negative at 9dpo then go on to get a positive a few days later!

@cosmicmonkey yes 9dpo is exceptionally early, definitely not out yet.

I went to Tesco on my lunch break, stared at the clear blue early tests and resisted buying one 😂

the best tests are probably first response early response as they're very sensitive. Best day to check is probably 12 dpo if you can hold out that long. I don't think many have the willpower!

That is interesting about the chances of testing per day po. I'm glad I didn't waste a cheapie this morning now. I am feeling so confident about this cycle that I have just bought a fancy bottle of wine from our local wine shop 😂

I caved and used an IC. I mean I think its a BFN but part of me is also shining lights onto it and taking photos and zooming in Grin I also splashed out on premium fertility friend today, haha.

@Toastedsesame haha glad it's not just me that does this. I will be over analysing my test tomorrow, straining my eyes. You think it is a BFN though?? That sounds promising like you might have seen something? I bought FF premium last week. The 'see charts like mine' function is like going down a rabbit hole 😂

@Catmum55566 I know right, I have spent sooo long on that today. I'm doing this weird thing where I'm convincing myself that I'm being ridiculous and ofc I'm not pregnant and AF will be here any day while also spotting every symptom, checking my cm and cervix constantly, googling away. Its like a strange kind of self preservation.

I am feeling really disappointed as got a BFN and temp is dropping away. I'm not out till tomorrow (something always shows for me by 10pdo) but not feeling it's my month. Having one of those 'will I ever be a mum?' days but I will pick myself back up and go again for month 6, cycle 5. I've ordered some soy tablets for next month in the hope it will bring ovulation forward a bit.

Anyone else testing today?

Hiii, Strangely we’re twining because my sleep was interrupted by sore boobs. That’s never happened more and I’m just exhausted this morning. I’m really trying to resist early testing.

I tested today at 8dpo and got a BFN. I dno why but I just think I could be out this month. I do think my brains been playing tricks on me!

We are here for you, whatever the outcome of this cycle. It is tough this TTC business. I can understand your disappointment. Technically it is still early days for you in terms of months trying, I'm sure you will be a mum.
