Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?

Hi! :)

I'm 4dpo today. Had a mc last cycle so this cycle is all over the place. My boobs are currently so sore it is making me (probably foolishly) hopeful.

I'd love to get a thread running for some support. Anyone want to join?

@Catmum55566 @nadsc same here. Feeling pretty down today. Caved and tested and it was a stark white no (10 DPO) . Had a meltdown on DH. Told him I was us to get checked out. Was told I was being ridiculous as it's only cycle 4. Fair play. Going to give it a few more months. Worried that because he boils himself in the bath 3 or 4 times a week that he might be sterile but I need a professional to tell him not to as he won't listen to me :-(

@coffee1988 it actually is so depressing. I’m convinced I’m having period pains too 😩 next month will be our month!! On the bright side(I know it’s hard to find one) you’re one month closer to that BFP and you also get to have a lovely glass of wine this weekend.

Has anyone else tested? Sorry I can't read the thread fully. I'm I think 6/7 dpo. Not sure at what point to test. Have ordered some FRERs so thinking may test on Monday. My cycles are 28 days and AF due next Saturday, so thinking may test Monday/Tuesday? But not sure if anything would show up that early.

I've had no symptoms at all except the weird one day craving for meat (I'm vegan and ate a Big Mac ) and then very irritable yesterday with DP. But I've had such a stressful week at work it could all be down to that. I'm not hopeful for a BFP.

AF is due Friday for me and I’m really struggling when to test. My body is being all kinds of weird but I’m not even sure if that’s a mental thing or not.

Thanks @Toastedsesame. I'm just having one of those days, I'll be fine once the next cycle starts. I know it's early days still. I think the miscarriages have made me more crazy and impatient 🙈!! Are you testing again today? If so fingers crossed 🤞

@coffee1988 @nadsc sorry you borh got a BFN too but you're not out yet. My DH doesn't get it either. He tries to be as supportive as he can but he hardly thinks about TTC most of the time. I envy him, I wish I could switch off!

I really want a drink tonight as well but I’m kind of afraid to rush it even though I don’t think it will cause any harm. I’m sure 4/5 March fingers BFP for both us next week.

Thanks girls. Really not sure about these one step cheapies, but I don't think I've ever had this sort of line on one before and the one I took yesterday was definitely blank white. I'll try again in the morning. showed DH and he is blind as a bat so can't see anything.

Has anyone else seen the pregnancy calculator thingy on FF that gives you a percentage chance?

Oh yes I saw the FF percentage chance thing today. It said only 11pc of charts with a dip like mine lead to a BFP. This makes sense as my other two BFP charts went up at 9 and 10dpo. What does your chart predictor say?

Thanks everyone. I feel a bit scared to do any more tests because last time I did that and it still ended with bleeding on my period day, so I might wait til AF is due in 5 days. I don't know yet.

@Catmum55566 mine is 39pc not great odds but tbh I have really struggled to find any charts that look like mine.

Stupidly did a test this morning, BFN but I'm only 7dpo gonna hold off til Monday and use a FRER, but still might be a wait til I know for sure.
I'm SO impatient!

Congratulations @Toastedsesame! I can understand you being cautious but looks like good early progress! Will you book an early scan or wait till 12 weeks?

@Jackitty ah 7dpo is too early so fingers crossed you will get a line in a few days.

I tested again today but BFN as expected. However, after speaking to DH I feel much more positive for the next cycle. We agreed my body probably needed a break and we will throw everything at the next few cycles. Also this is longest LP I have had in a non-pregnancy cycle which is great. Just want AF to hurry up now.

How is everyone else doing?

@Catmum55566 thank you! I think we might need an early scan to help with dates as I had no real AF between these two cycles so maybe a 8/9 week scan. DH currently not wanting to talk about anything in case it jinxes it (last time we were planning the nursery ffs!) So I'll wait a few weeks at least I think.

I'm glad you're feeling positive, the fact your LP is longer on its own is very encouraging. It'll happen soon I'm sure.

@Jackitty 7dpo is sooo early, something like only 20% of people get bfps that soon. Plenty of time. Good luck!

Hey ladies, hope you don't mind me joining you all.
I'm 27, this is our 4th year NTNP, and first actively trying, temping and using preseed & opks. I was diagnosed with pcos when I was 21 and had a scan last year to confirm it is still there. Will be going to a private clinic in a few months if we still have no luck 😭
So I'm currently 9dpo today, feeling very very out as usual, have no symptoms what so ever, except a bit of cramping and a temp dip 2 days ago, but that's literally it 😂 had a good cry yesterday as well, very emotional. Been testing from 6dpo, (I know hahaha I can't stop) and now this morning I could swear I have a vvvvvfl on a cheapie. And it's my last one to Monday. Just my luck. Anyway please tell me I don't have serious line eyes and you can see it too 🙏 wishing this is the month for all you ladies x

Sounds like a rough ride for you so far, it's such a trial isn't it? I have pcos too but it's been called "borderline" whatever that means! Since having my son I have 80% less cysts on my ovaries however.

I can see the line you're referring to, for sure. Can you wait 48h and retest with frer or similar? Also feel free to post yr chart if you like.

@Toastedsesame thank you so much, it has been so tough but I know you all are feeling the same as me, I really needed to join a thread at this stage instead of just reading them, it's so hard not having anyone around you to talk to about it.
Wow that's so interesting that you have less cysts now, gives me some hope ❤️ 8 went for two scans a few months back in the hospital and they never rang me back yet. A student called me and said I'd be an interesting case could I come in for her, I couldn't go but was still annoyed that I still haven't heard from my consultant.. Still haven't, obviously it's not a priority at the moment in public hospitals but it is to me.. yes I think il test again on Monday when my frers come! 🙈 My chart isn't great its just on my period tracker app but il post it anyways.. I've never had a shadow line or evap line like that, it was even there after 2 minutes.

@JourneytobabyA it really helps to have a bit of support, that's for sure. Idk about you but my DH doesn't really like to overly plan DTD and isn't interested in hearing about my charting or anything so I barely tell him anything. Does make it lonely tho.

Chart looks good I think, I'm not familiar with Fahrenheit but temps look to be staying high 🤞 do you have any other symptoms?

So after I posted the other day I haven't posted again as I went loopy and started testing 😂😂😂 Two BFN Thursday. A BFN yesterday morning but today I have the slightest hint of a BFP!
Trying to not get excited as I had a chemical almost 4 weeks ago. But eeeek!

Symptoms - sore boobs. Bloating. I was horrid on Thursday. I mean proper unpleasant lol. But I really didn't think we had managed it this month as I had no idea when I would Ovulate after a chemical.

Anyway keeping everything crossed as AF due on the 4th I think.
