Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?

Hi! :)

I'm 4dpo today. Had a mc last cycle so this cycle is all over the place. My boobs are currently so sore it is making me (probably foolishly) hopeful.

I'd love to get a thread running for some support. Anyone want to join?

Thanks @coffee1988, I refuse to do any more tests for at least 2 days. Hard when I am a poas addict!!

Oh your ovulation date does sound standard which is good, it's before 21 days which is considered late ovulation. So annoying abour your husband's work trip but your ovulation day could be different this cycle. Also France might go on the red list as cases are high. Got my fingers crossed for you x

Catmum55566 · 09/04/2021 10:01

Well the refusing to test for 2 days did not happen, I don't know why I make these bold statements. Anyway it's not looking good. FF has me at 15 dpo and Premom at 13 dpo. I am feeling ok this time as I didn't expect it to work out. Hopefully I can get the investigations ball rolling.

Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?
coffee1988 · 09/04/2021 10:15

Oh I’m so sorry @Catmum55566. Looks like there’s still a line although it is faint?

Well I’m currently waiting at hosp for a scan as my dr was worried I hadn’t bled enough to constitute a chemical. Think she’s concerned there could be parts left in me. Oh joys. Things just get better and better! 😂

BrodieKD · 09/04/2021 10:35

@Catmum55566 they are faint but there is defs a progression on 13dpo. Have you tried a clearblue? My h2b preferred the clearblue as he said it's a lot easier for him to see?

Catmum55566 · 09/04/2021 10:50

Oh no @coffee1988 sorry you have to go through that! I take it your scan is today? Please keep us updated and I will be thinking of you.

Thanks @BrodieKD but I don't feel like I want to waste anymore tests. My CB digi said pregnant yesterday, which is amazing really considering the lines on the FRERs. My gut instinct tells me there is no way this can be a viable pregnancy. If I have not had any bleeding by Monday I will test again. I just hope it resolves quickly. Anyway how are you getting on? Hopefully some positive news? I hope I have not dragged the thread down with my negativity!!

BrodieKD · 09/04/2021 10:56

@coffee1988 sorry to hear that 🙁must be so difficult.

@Catmum55566 I have everything crossed for you. I'm getting on ok thanks. I've been given a rough due date of 11th December. I have got an annoying pain on one side that's been worrying me a little. I'm going to keep an eye on it over the next couple of days and get checked out so I can stop worrying that it's ectopic. I just keep telling myself that my body is moving in ways it's never done before so it's expected to have the odd pain and ache. I have a private early scan booked in for 2nd May (8 weeks) and then my 12 week scan is booked in for 7th June.

Catmum55566 · 09/04/2021 12:42

@BrodieKD thanks. Hopefully the pain is nothing, it is normal to get a range of cramps etc but you are right to keep an eye on it. Great to hear your scans are booked in, not too long to go until the 8 week one!

Toastedsesame · 09/04/2021 15:39

Just been catching up girls!

@Catmum55566 I can definitely see progression on those Frer, I can see why you are being cautious. I really hope it is good news for you. The fact that you got a positive digital is quite encouraging.

@coffee1988 Sorry I didn't reply sooner, my bleeding with my chemical was about 3 days and very light, but sorry if tmi I did definitely pass something fleshy, so I knew it was over. Sounds like you are experiencing something different. I hope the scan goes okay for you.

@BrodieKD I've had right sided pain a lot this pregnancy, I worried about ectopic to begin with but I think a lot of the time you ache slightly on the side the baby is developing / you have ovulated from.

Catmum55566 · 10/04/2021 19:56

@Toastedsesame hmm I don't think there is much progression but my husband thinks there is. I only have one FRER left so going to save it now for next weekend, if I haven't bled. Tbh I am not hopeful but good to have the support of you all on this thread!

@coffee1988 any update? How was your scan?

@Fifi1086 any news from your GP tests?

Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?
Toastedsesame · 10/04/2021 20:11

@Catmum55566 I was just about to come on and ask how you were doing. I can see progression but I do think it is very light. Have you tried a different type of early test? the CB earlys were actually really good for me this time round, I've always been a frer girl before. Must be hard to be in this kind of limbo. I hope you are doing ok and ofc we are here whenever you need us.

Also hoping for an update from the others.

OP posts:
Catmum55566 · 10/04/2021 20:32

@Toastedsesame yeah it's way too light to be viable. Like you say it is being in limbo that's the issue. Unfortunatley I am getting use to it now as it's the 3rd one in a row! I hope it resolves quickly and doesn't delay the next cycle too much.

Toastedsesame · 10/04/2021 20:34

@Catmum55566 I'm so sorry lovely. Please keep me updated. Thinking of you.

@Catmum55566 sending you big hugs x

Fifi1086 · 11/04/2021 00:01

Hey guys I've been meaning to check in! Tried to take a little break from it all this cycle. My LH, FSH and other day 3 bloods were all normal. I went in yday for day 21 bloods but I told him I hadn't ovulated yet but he wanted to do them anyway. Got home then yday and got my peak 😂 how typical. So I ovulated today, day 22. Not going to pay attention really and just expect AF to arrive next weekend as usual !

coffee1988 · 11/04/2021 19:54

How are you getting along @Catmum55566? Def progression on those tests. Also I’m pretty sure once they dry they actually get darker so that definitely supports

All fine with me. Scan was ok. Feel incredibly normal and just wondering/hoping if I’ll ovulate in a week. 14 days until DH goes away so praying my ovaries get their action together before then!

Hi @Fifi1086 how long have you been ttc for? Fingers crossed af keeps her ugly face away for you

Catmum55566 · 12/04/2021 10:15

Glad your scan went ok @coffee1988. You could well ovulate early this cycle!

Thanks for checking in ladies, as expected the bleeding has started and this mornings test was negative, so CD1 for me today. The lines were so faint I knew it wouldn't work out so I feel ok. I have been proactive and got some private tests for me and DH booked in so will see if we can find an answer.

coffee1988 · 12/04/2021 10:21

oh I'm so sorry @Catmum55566. I really do feel your pain. It's so cruel the way hopes are raised and then dashed. I'd booked myself in for some private tests last month but then ended up getting a positive / chemical so have now deferred them for a month to see what happens this cycle. Definitely worth doing though for peace of mind

Catmum55566 · 09/05/2021 10:33

Hi all - the thread has been quiet recently. How is everyone doing?

@Toastedsesame have you had your 12 week scan? I hope all is well!

@coffee1988 have you rebooked your private tests?

@Fifi1086 have you had any joy with lp investigations?

Nothing much to report here however I have got some private tests booked and hopefully speaking to a miscarriage consulant in the next week. My cycle was a bit delayed after last month's chemical but that was to be expected! Currently in the TWW and trying asprin from ovulation this time.

Toastedsesame · 09/05/2021 20:28

Hi! @Catmum55566 Good to hear from you and glad to hear you are having tests. Is it a private consultant you are seeing?

I'm 14w2d, but I still haven't had my 12 week scan :( the maternity dept here is on its knees, loads of issues... but basically I've had to put in a complaint and its still not got me anywhere so still waiting.

coffee1988 · 11/05/2021 09:27

hi @Catmum55566 all fine here. Been a long old month, ovulated on about day 25 after the chemical and now about 11 dpo. I thought I was out yesterday morning, temp plummeted, negative test, had a massive row with poor DH, then had the strange full feeling I had last month when I had a bfp and this morning temp shot up again. So maybe I'm not out yet!

Glad to hear you've got some tests booked. I haven't rebooked mine yet, going to give it another month. That's what the big old row was about yesterday. DH wants to give it a bit longer before we speak to anyone and I have zero patience!

@Toastedsesame that is absolutely dreadful. I'd be climbing the walls with frustrating. Hopefully they'll get their act together soon. I'm not sure where you're based but there are walk in clinics if you're getting desperate. I went to one at St George's (Tooting, London) after my cp. They might be able to help although I had to wait 4 hours which I really wouldn't want to do again.

coffee1988 · 11/05/2021 09:33

Chart here. Will gets again tomorrow at 12dpo and see how things look. Full feeling has now gone so really no idea if I’m get lucky this time

Anyone 3-6dpo and want to share ridiculous symptom spotting / poas urges?
Catmum55566 · 11/05/2021 21:43

@Toastedsesame, oh I agree with coffee that is ridiculous! In 5 weeks you will be half way through your pregnancy! Can you have a private scan in the meantime? Not the point I know but at least if might be a bit of reassurance. Have they given you any clue as to when your scan will be?

Yes it is private. Just waiting for some blood results but on my scan looks like I have pco. They said it's not the syndrome, cycsts on the ovaries without the other symptoms. So I probably have a hormonal imbalance. Explains the late ovulation!!

@coffee1988, I ovulated day 25 this cycle too. I am currently 5dpo. Been told to keep trying naturally till we have all of our results. Your symptoms sound promising! Fingers crossed for testing tomorrow!! I totally get the lack of patience, TTC makes time go so slowly. And it takes 9 months for the baby to develop! My DH is also more laid back. I think it's normal to disagree over these things however hopefully you can talk it through and come to an agreement, once things have cooled a bit.

Katiekattty · 11/05/2021 22:14

@Toastedsesame I’ve heard this too about the massive delays. I would have normally waited before self referring but I did mine early because of this.

coffee1988 · 12/05/2021 11:39

@Catmum55566 - well BFN at 12dpo today but the day where I had the strange pulling / full feeling all day long was 10dpo. Fallen down the old mumsnet hole and diagnosed for myself that that could have implantation cramps. Def not normal cramps, not painful just felt like a tugging feeling all day. Then found this delightful thread which would therefore suggest today is still far too early to test if that was the case.

www.mumsnet.com/Talk/conception/3218493-preggo-test-science-for-TTC-geeks

Pretty sure I'm just clinging to any thread of hope but oh well. Keeping my spirits up until AF no doubt arrives at the end of this week.

Temp is still super high this morning and still have a mild pulling feeling that isn't AF cramps so you never know.

So sorry to hear about your PCO. but great it's not the full syndrome. And surely they can prescribe you something to help?
