TWW starts... ovulation day today! Anyone else?

Hi ladies!

Anyone else ovulated today? I'm pretty sure I did after a peak OPK yesterday and now starting the dreaded TWW... my first as we're on cycle 1. I'm CD16 with a generally 30 day cycle.

Would love some company as I inevitably drive myself absolutely loco over the next fortnight 😂

Any early symptoms I can look out for to keep me occupied?!

Morning guys! How’s everyone today? Anyone testing again today? Not sure why I’m asking as we’re all kinda poas mad here. That said I haven’t raided my stash of secret tests this morning. I figured after the very obvious bfn yesterday and the bad cramping I’m getting this morning that af will likely be here tonight or tomorrow. Due tomorrow I think, so watch this space. Feeling a bit grumpy about it.

Hi @WonderCity tested this more, BFN at 12 DPO. Had absolutely convinced myself this was the day!

Boobs have calmed down again and lower back cramping has started so I'd say AF is on the way but hey, we're not out, til we're out!

@Trixlrl I'm out too. Had slight BBT temp rose took a test and BFN.

Now just waiting for AF to appear so we go again. I forgot how all consuming TTC is and how horrid the TWW is!

@TrixIrl you're totally not out yet at 12DPO! Hang on in there 🤞🏻

@WrongendoftheSTIX are you 14DPO? Could still be early to test, some people don't get their BFP for aaaages after ovulation but I reckon prepare for the worst and hope for the best is a good approach at this point for us all! 🤞🏻

My chart is continuing to troll me. Had another v slight rise in temp and RHR seems to still be stable (though could well drop throughout the day). Noticed more creamy CM as well this morning. My temp usually drops a couple of days before AF so either Femometer was right and I did ovulate later or maybe my temping was wrong. Had no PMS symptoms bar the tiniest cramps that might be in my head so I'm hoping I'm not just late as that will drive me bonkers.

13dpo due AF tomorrow. No symptoms other than cramps and backache as per usual.

BFN for me too ladies! Like... super negative, completely negative!
I will be testing every morning till AF I would love to have to will power to just wait for AF but don’t think it’s possible!

Hey I’ve been watching everyone from the sidelines. Hoping to get some advice I’m currently 9dpo and haven’t tested yet. When is the earliest I can test? I haven’t a clue what I’m doing and this will be number 3 🙈

Hi @Coffeemum1 I think the later the better but tomorrow might be a good day to start. Don’t be upset if it’s BFN though, it’s still early days! Can you remember any of your early pregnancy symptoms with your other two?

@Jaymar thanks ok first test tomorrow 🤞🏻 We wasn’t actively trying so I missed my period and 4 weeks pregnant both times. No symptoms just missed periods until around 15 weeks and then my all day sickness starts 🙈

Hi @Coffeemum1 Great to have you join the thread! Will eagerly await your updates!!! I wish I’d held off testing, I started too soon and find them like Pringles, once I start I just can’t stop. I don’t know my ov times or when af is due as not long had coil removed but going by dtd I can test up to 6th March which is 21 days after, which is crazy far away. I’m driving myself a bit bonkers here, I must be truthful! Have completely convinced myself I feel pregnant! All tests BFN so far. I have four children already so do know the feeling but also think I could have just completely lost my marbles in this whole TWW limbo land. Good luck to you !!!!

@TrixIrl how are you doing? I find the last couple of days before AF is due really stressful. Like just hurry up already. And @WrongendoftheSTIX how about you? Any sign of af tonight? I’ve got the odd cramp feeing but not that bad now. Bit bloated - It feels like there’s a rock in my womb. No spotting or any signs of af as such. No cm to talk about. I’ve noticed my stomach is a bit upset and sluggish. More towards slow digestion. I don’t know if I usually get all this before af and don’t really pay attention or if this is unusual. I guess I’m still clinging on to the slight hope that I have a late implanter. If Af isn’t here this time tomorrow I’ll be surprised though.

@HaresHoping I’m hooked on your charting. I might have to start. What’s your update??

@GCB1234 I have my fingers crossed for you. How many tests have you done today? Lol I can’t believe I resisted. I’m almost mad at the tests for being negative all the time and am now shunning them. I’m clearly losing it.

@WonderCity I'm good, think I've given up at this stage (which is good!!!!! As I can think about something else for two mins)

Just want AF to arrive and let me off the hook at this point. Similar digestion/gas/heavy feeling here but boob pain completely non existent.

I'm hoping I can hold off now til at least Sunday when AF is due, if only to save the tests!!

@WonderCity no AF yet. No cramps or anything yet. It's due tomorrow. Fully expecting it though.

I had cramps this morning but they've completely gone.

@WonderCity go for it! It's on the Fertility Friend app. I find it really useful and a good way to start to get to know my own body and symptoms. Be warned though you may become obsessed 😂

No update here just yet really, boobs got a bit tender this eve. I have that funny full feeling in my womb too but like you no idea if it is what I always get but never noticed before 🤷🏻‍♀️ AF due tomorrow so we'll see if she arrives and if not I'll test on Saturday morning with an FRER. Annoyingly my period often comes late on at night so I might not know for ages if she's going to come or not 🙄 how are you doing? Have you tested any more? I've managed somehow to hold off since 12DPO as was driving myself a bit loopy!

I can’t believe I’m saying this but I’ve spent a bomb over the past week on the expensive tests.. I need to STOP! So. No more testing for me till Sunday morning. AF may obv come first!
I have 1 x FRER, 1 x CB Digi and a handful of cheapies left must not buy more !!!!

I will check in with you lovely ladies to see how you are getting on that are still waiting to see particularly... oh I have my fingers crossed for you I really do.

I did some research today on why I might feel sooo preggo and still be BFN, and although it’s still early testing, having read posts dating back to 2008 with ladies claiming similar - I’ve decided it’s in my head and I’m nuts!
So some days off the peeing and let’s see what happens.

Oh hun @GCB1234 stay strong! And don't beat yourself up on the spends - you obviously needed the reassurance from testing so it's not like it was a waste of money really. I'm still hoping this is your month but if not maybe you can buy a load of ICs and make a rule not to buy any FRER until after AF is due... hard but not completely unrealistic?! How many DPO are you now? I have everything crossed for you my love xxx

So, AF due today, my temp has stayed above cover line though it still dipped a bit. Comparing to last month's chart (which I only did intermittently) it should have dropped a lot further by yesterday and def today. However temping isn't an exact science so trying to stay level headed! I can't do a test this morning as I've got loads on at work and if I test, whatever the outcome I won't be able to concentrate 😂 at least I can keep busy and distracted. Let's see if she arrives tonight! How is everyone else this morning?

Hi ladies hope it's not too late to join. Due to test on Sunday if I can wait that long. TTC no2 . No periods since before I had my baby due to breast feeding but I caught ovulation this month on a cheapie and a clear blue so presuming I'm in with a chance. Don't know whether to expect a period or not though I'll be 13/14dpo on Sunday

Welcome @mrssunshinexxx! How old is your first? I’m still breastfeeding but my periods came back fully after 8 months. @GCB1234 have you broken yet and tested this morning? I wouldn’t hold it against you lol. I have. I had one Ic left and no af although due today but it’s very negative again. I’ve decided that all this cramping etc is how I always feel actually and I need to just wait. My cycles can vary between 28 and 31 days so maybe tomorrow as that’ll be 31.

@HaresHoping I’ve downloaded the app. I’m gonna give it a go next month. So you do your temp before anything else. I wonder if it’ll work for me as I’m blessed with a child that has never slept through. Almost 18 months and still wakes three times a night. So I’m up and about. Hmm. Will give it a go anyway.

@TrixIrl @WrongendoftheSTIX any updates this morning? I do t know about you guys but I’m finding being this close to af agonising in a way. It’s getting to me. The only thing I normally get and haven’t yet is a bit of spotting. I even went looking for it but there’s nothing. Although I think that says more about my state of mind than the state of my body lol.

Hi @WonderCity aw that's good ! She was 8 months yesterday! I don't feed through the night though and she only has 3 big feeds through the day so I'm hoping it won't be long til they return (or I get a bfp!) I got my static on Valentine's but actually felt ovulation the morning after it is always quite painful for a few hours. We dtd the 3 days before that I hope it was enough
