TWW starts... ovulation day today! Anyone else?

Hi ladies!

Anyone else ovulated today? I'm pretty sure I did after a peak OPK yesterday and now starting the dreaded TWW... my first as we're on cycle 1. I'm CD16 with a generally 30 day cycle.

Would love some company as I inevitably drive myself absolutely loco over the next fortnight 😂

Any early symptoms I can look out for to keep me occupied?!

Hey ladies! May I join you in this agonising wait?! Not TTC per say so have no idea on my ovulation pattern but DTD on 13th after removal of coil last month a history or surprise BFP’s. I think the 27th/28th I should know if AF doesn’t show up by then! But zero patience and have just ordered FR tests from Amazon to start testing in the week! I have had a light headache for the past 3 days, strong cramps on day 5 after DTD and period like cramps now, lots of peeing, could be absolutely nothing 🙈🤣 I feel OBSESSED!

Well I did what I swore to myself I wouldn't and bought a two pack of FRER. BFN as I should have expected at 10DPO but I had a sliver of hope...

I'm determined to keep the second test for next Saturday unless AF arrives on Fri. Might have to take myself off here for a bit as I'm going a bit loopy I think... (said this yesterday though and was straight back on! 😂)

I just did exactly the same and tested 10dpo BFN 😫😫😫😫 I may also need to remove myself from mn for a day or too as going potty 🤦‍♀️

@HaresHoping @Lolajames it’s just too tempting x I’m feeling my crampyness is AF coming, we’ll see, just as my tests arrive 😭 if I’m out in the next day or so I will be checking back in to find out how you are doing 🤞🏼🤞🏼🤞🏼 WOW... this whole thing takes over!!! It’s the weirdest mix of excitement and stress.

I tested early too! I wasn't expecting anything though so early, I just wanted to test my IC's that I'd ordered from Amazon so see how they worked as I've never used a strip test before. AF is due next Saturday so I'm going to wait until then to do another one - if I can cope that is!!

It’s sooo tempting!! I have crampy tummy and feel damp down there (sorry tmi 🙈🤢😂) so keep thinking AF has turned up and no colour to it... yet. And I’m peeing for Britain but I honestly think that could be the anxiety of this TWW business! What about you?

I'm 7 DPO. It's my first month TTC and off the pill so fee like my cycles all over the place atm. According to my FLO app I'm due AF on Tuesday but I only ovulated on Sunday so I hope it's wrong!! I've been POAS constantly in case I ovulated earlier 😂😤🤦🏽‍♀️ I'm going to try hold off testing until Saturday now as my husbands away Thursday/Friday and I wouldn't be able to keep it in I was and don't want to tell him over the phone so forcing myself to wait but I know I'll test Wednesday because I'm just so weak!! I felt like I had loads of symptoms last week which is impossible but nothing reallt atm. Convinced myself I'm out, the only glimmer of hope I have is that I have incredibly bad period pain about a week before I'm due on and I haven't got that yet 🙏🏽

I was at my MIL this weekend for her birthday and I drank because I thought nah no way. I know it won't do any harm to any potential baby but worrying myself about ruining my chances now!

I'm worse. I was like if I don't have a drink cos I think I'm pregnant well then I'll definitely jinx myself! So had the most joyless vino ever last night.

A strange one for the symptom watchers, I have extremely painful bloating but only at the very top of my stomach, at the end of my sternum. Nothing is shifting it and it's even hard to sleep the last couple of days. Weird.

What's even weirder is that I had surgery for my endometriosis when I was all of about 5 DPO on DD (urine test on day of surgery came back negative, found out I was pregnant via post surgery bloods, queue a very scary 1st trimester) had very bad bloating after surgery which is normal due to the gas they use to inflate your stomach but obviously now I don't know if this was actually a symptom for me!

Also caved and did a test yesterday at 8DPO like an eejit, literally peeing away money!

@WonderCity ok so I've moved onto peeing on an IC twice in a day, I just felt I needed to after this mornings glimmer...

Ive got this now... very slightly darker...

Still not taking this as anything certain as I need to wait a few more days

@HaresHoping and @Lolajames it can change so much in a matter of 24hours or even 12 hours in my case today. BFN one day and hope the next!

@GCB1234 I've been the same, the wetness drives me mad because I expect something to be there when I go to the loo 🙄 I had cramping for a few days this week too actually, like lower pelvic region and then up towards my belly button but they've stopped now. I had spotting last weekend but I think that was from ovulation and nothing else since.

Guys! This is intense. It’s all consuming. Constantly thinking maybe... but nah probably not... but maybe... then I poas and sulk about it for a little while but then it’s back to maybe... Urgh! I’m due AF on Friday so I’m going to try my very best not to test again until Tuesday. I’m being realistic. I’ll never make it to Friday.

@xRRx although I also did an afternoon poas and it came up very negative. Absolutely nothing. Even though I held it in the light at all kinds of angles and squinted. Yours looks very very promising. It’s hard to believe it could actually be a bfp I know but I’m starting believe yours looks that way! Keep us up to date. Are you saving the tests and lining them up? I know they dry out but I’d do it anyway.

@Bee44 I’m having no symptoms that I can think. Maybe sore boobs but only on the sides and sorta like in my armpits. Weird lol. Probably just my glands up or something. I’ve got a tiny sore throat and have been sneezing a bit for a couple of days. Bit of a cold it seems.

Unless sitting in peace on the sofa eating this counts as a symptom?

my boobs are also hurting just on the sides too.
I've also had some yellow tinged CM last few days and a bit crampy.

Definitely keeping the tests and will do a line up! I've ordered a CB digital too as when I had a BFP last year (ended in MMC) my husband needed it spelt out. He doesn't understand this line business like we do.

@xRRx I’m sorry to hear about your mmc, but great that you’re here trying again and hopefully about to get a digital result your husband will clearly understand. I’m glad these guys aren’t as obsessed as us. That would be a dangerous mix. Another symptom. Feeling nauseous - certain it’s due to now having finished the last of the fudge brownie. I’m eating my feelings!

Insomnia! This was one of the hardest symptoms last time for me. I've been awake since 3:30am.

As I needed to pee I had to use my FMU on a test... IC first- as faint as yesterday, probably slightly fainter?

Time for a more sensitive test so dipped one of the FRERs I'd been saving...

I'm only 11dpo and I'm shocked. This is like my 14DPO line in my first pregnancy.

@Jaymar Thank you 🥰. I woke him up and he believed the line even though half asleep. We're not getting ahead of ourselves but stayed up talking for ages. Cautiously excited.

When will you be testing?

@xRRx massive congratulations that's a really strong line!! I need to go to the chemist in a bit and I know I'll pic up some tests. I want to wait until Saturday but I think I'll be testing Wednesday which will be 10 DPO. I haven't got any crippling period pains yet which is strange but my boobs have been tender and I've been so so emotional. Could be either!?

Of course I tested today too. I thought I’d try a FRER but nothing came up. Totally blank. 10dpo so there’s still hope.

What a great start to the day! Hopefully this is the start of other BFP’s to come on this thread. I think I’ll try to hold off until Thursday to test, when AF is due, but if I get a desperate urge to test before then I’ll go for it.
