Aww amazing, do you feel better now you're at 12 weeks? I'm feeling very anxious and just want to get to 12 weeks. Have you started to tell friends and family now? @CookieMonster3001

@sunflowersaremyfav93 symptom wise i feel a lot better. Still tired, still gag everytime i brush my teeth, gassy and get a lot of stretching pains, but the sickness has almost subsided. I still get queezy when im starving. Anxiety wise im still the same, i feel so scared that I will get to the scan on friday and they cant find a heartbeat.

Not told anyone yet, planning to tell parents and close family after weve had the scan providing all goes well. Fingers crossed!

@CookieMonster3001 let us know how the scan goes, I'm sure it'll be fine but I know what you mean I feel the exact same about my scan. Ours is next Tuesday I'll be 6+5 so still very early but they'll be able to just see what's going on with my uterus and make sure baby is ok. Hopefully your symptoms ease soon as well, mine are all starting now. I've spent all day on the sofa and got no work done. I just feel exhausted.

Hi everyone just been reading through to catch up 🙂 hope everyone is doing ok!
@mackjm20 I'm sorry about the BFN 😞 it's so disheartening when it happens. My advice would be take a break, or at least take a break from tracking and worrying, make sex fun again, have lots of it and just enjoy each other as a couple. It sounds like such a cliché but I honestly believe it works. With my 1st we got pregnant after only 4 months, we'd only just got married 3 months previously so it was still all new and romantic 😂, with my 2nd it took 18 months and I was getting so frustrated and upset that I said I'm not tracking anymore, I changed my focus from babies to weightloss, and had lots of fun sex 😉 and within 4 weeks I was pregnant 🤩 this time round although I was tracking a bit I still concentrated on just having fun sex lol. Stress has a lot to answer for! I really hope your time is coming soon 🙏

I am now 12+4 and I had my 12 week scan yesterday 🥰 I was so anxious leading up to it as I'd convinced myself there was nothing in there and I'd read the tests wrong! Luckily baby was there with heart beating away 😍 I've also started feeling baby move! I thought I was feeling them very early on around 9 weeks on and off, with it being my 3rd. Google said it's possible but no one else agreed so I was unsure but yesterday at the scan I could definitely feel it, not sure it liked the sonographer pressing so hard on its home 😂 We're telling my Mum and our boys on Friday and then DH family on Sunday and then announcing to everyone else after that. So I will finally be able to breathe out 🙈 I'm so big already, it's getting hard to hide, especially with the sunny weather lately! Feeling ok except I'm not sleeping well so permanently exhausted 😴 Here's a pic of baby for those that want to see ☺️

I'm not too bad. I just seem to ache so much I can barely get myself up off the sofa & just generally tired. Other than that.. no sickness yet.. 7 weeks tomorrow 🤞🏻 I think I'll be booking an early scan around 9 weeks if I can wait another 2 weeks that is 😬 x

Hey all - I've just been scrolling through seeing all the updates. So many congratulations to be had!!! Hope you're all enjoying your pregnancies so far.

I'm 19+5 today - found out we're having a little boy a few weeks ago, can't remember if I posted to let you all know?!? So that'll be two little boys (and no more plans for any more babies!). Got my 20 weeks scan coming up on Monday and so far have had lots and lots of nausea that has finally stopped as of last week.

Other than that not much to report (thankfully), hoping the rest of the pregnancy is just as uneventful.

Just thought id pop on to give a quick update. Had my scan today and baby is perfectly healthy. Measuring 13w today so growing quickly! Was a little camera shy and took a couple of walks and a few half wees to get baby in the right position for all the measurements. But we got to see it suck its thumb and give a big smile!

Hi all. Just been reading updates. Glad everyone ok and hope everyone gets their BFP soon who are still waiting.

Update from me:

Had 12 week scan and was 12.5 weeks dated, currently now 14w, 1day. All looking good so far and was so lush to see the baba moving away. Looking forward to 20w and feeling baby move. Still feeling a bit tired but nausea eased. Due 3rd Nov x

Just checking in again. Things are progressing well here so far. 22 weeks today ☺️.

We finished the baby's room this week and have just been into the loft to get down all the newborn - 3 months stuff. It doesn't feel 2 seconds since I packed that all away 🙉🙈

This is a picture of the baby's room. I'm really proud of it cause we worked really hard and did all the painting ourselves.

@Curiosity101 wow- 22 weeks! I know you shouldn’t wish it away but i’m looking forward to getting there.

The room looks brilliant- love it. When did you start buying baby things? I’m 14.3 weeks and still not sure whether to start (but I am saving!). I’m still too nervous to have sex again! Probably being silly but after early bleeding in first trimester, I’m so wary of stuff. X

@NewbieB I know how you feel wishing time away. My first baby arrived 33+2 after lots and lots of bleeding that started around 23-24 weeks. I'm really looking forward to being 24-25 weeks as I know I'm going to be worried about the same stuff happening again. I'm just hoping once I'm past that date I might relax a bit.

In terms of buying stuff I think we started at 20 weeks this time cause after last time we wanted all the big bits sorted in plenty of time. This baby is also a little boy so we're able to use all the clothes etc from our DS. We just got all the newborn bits down from the loft today so I need to sort through those and then we'll have everything ready for the baby arriving. I'll also be packing a basic overnight bag for hospital in the next few days and making sure my maternity notes are with it, just incase.

So chuffed for some of us having expecting news

Just had 20wks scan today. All looks good from what can be seen, the little bugger was hiding and refusing to let us get any good pictures.

How are you doing @mackjm20? Have you still been trying? We had a little break as it’s been over a year now. But I’ve been tracking my last cycle and finally got a static smiley on my opk on CD19! We DTD lots and I’m now in my 2WW again... I’m trying so hard not to get my hopes up but I’m so chuffed that I’ve even ovulated this month (or at least I hope so!) xx

Sorry I had taken a huge step back from mumsnet until yesterday as been really struggling but funnily enough started a thread to ask a question yesterday so was lovely to here from you all :)

I am now on cycle 10 11dpo BFN. I have had a 21 day progesterone test which came back low and an ultrasound which has confirmed pcos last week and just waiting for an appointment with the gp on the 23rd to confirm next steps. Although I have been really upset about it I feel relieved to know that something is going on and there may be a way to resolve it :)

Just got to wait and see what hormone options etc are available now and hoping that will give us a better chance of a positive :)

@Hope91 Lovely to hear from you. I'd imagine that news really was bittersweet but as you said it's good news to be able to make changes that should drastically improve your chances going forwards 😊

I'm fine thanks. Not exactly enjoying the heat 🌡️but other than that I can't complain. 😄

Oo I also had my first Covid jab 2 1/2 weeks ago 💪☺️. Was really happy to have that out of the way! Definitely helping me relax a little going into the 3rd trimester.

@Curiosity101 yes that’s exactly it I was crushed initially and then I thought right come on rationalise atleast on the 23rd I will know what I need to do to give myself the best possible chance.

Omgosh it’s boiling isn’t it I feel for you in this heat!

How is everyone doing in general?

Well I had my 20 week scan yesterday (I'm 20+4 today) and all is well thankfully 😅 baby was wriggling around and putting it's hands above it's head and kicking it's long legs 😍 the images aren't very clear though thanks to my high BMI 🙄 we didn't find out what we're having as we like a surprise. I did have a good look though but wasn't sure what I was looking at so who knows 🤣
As for me, I'm exhausted 😩 I hate the heat and I'm in agony with issues with my feet, legs and hips but at least I don't feel nauseous anymore! Both my boys are so excited about the baby and keep hugging and kissing my bump, it's so cute 🥰
But as you can see from the picture (taken at 19 weeks) I'm huge already lol.
I'll be having a planned section due to previous pre-eclampsia and 2 emergency sections and will need extra growth scans towards the end due to my high BMI so lots to look forward too!

Hope everyone is ok and that those that are still waiting for that positive get it very soon! Wishing you lots of luck 🍀

Wow so lovely to hear from you guys! Life has just got in the way recently so I havnt been on here in a while to see how you are all doing!

I have my 20 week scan tomorrow (will be 21 weeks on Friday) which I am excited and nervous about. Baby doesnt stop wriggling around these days and is constantly doing summersaults or jabbing me! Defo a strong one I hope. Still undecided as to whether we will find out tomorrow or not. The entire pregnancy me and OH have been refering to it as a 'he' so will be interesting to see if we are right!
Im feeling great at the moment, but struggling with bad leg cramps at night so my sleep is suffering too (maybe its preparing me!)

@Curiosity101 the nursery is gorgeous! We are gonna start ours in a few weeks and I really want a safari themed room! I had my covid jab 2 weeks ago too, got my 2nd one in August!

@Hope91 I am so sorry to hear the struggle you are facing but also glad that its getting somewhere and closer to getting pregnant. I am keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you!
