@Kayeyeem thank you :) all good I had a wobble for 2 days but I’m okay now glad to have an appointment booked in :) positives I have another month to lose the weight - DH may have a job soon and I can have a drink this weekend lol! Every cloud :) how are you getting on :)? Xx

@mackjm20 it's crap when AF arrives isn't it. Well done on booking the docs appointment to hear more on PCOS. I read somewhere that on average it takes a woman 7 years to get diagnosed so keep pushing for tests and what not, you know your body more than anyone.

I'm ok, was trying to keep away from the boards because after the first cycle I was just a bit deflated. But I spoke to my mum about it and she said it took a year to fall with me so I think I've realised this isn't going to be a quick thing, I was trying to keep calm and relaxed and was doing well but I'm 7dpo today and feel like I'm bot relaxed if that makes sense?
I don't have any symptoms at all, my nipples felt quite sensitive around 3/4dpo and I have lots of creamy discharge but anything pre 7dpo is likely to be change in hormones so I'm not getting excited.

Everyone says it'll happen when you're not thinking about it, how does one not think about it?

@sunflowersaremyfav93 so nice to hear from you and totally get the break from the boards. It is so hard to not think about it but I think its more trying to be as relaxed as possible and having the mindset of knowing it might take a while takes the expectation of success every month away and less likely to over think every single thing? I dunno i was never any good at that tbh!!

10 weeks on saturday still another 3 weeks before our scan but slowly getting there. The nausea is really taking its toll now cant wait for the 2nd trimester so I can start feeling better!!

During my FW this cycle I was soooo chill didn't do OPKs everyday just went by EWCM and got a peak by chance and happened to DTD at the same time but since yesterday which was 7dpo I am back to symptoms spotting and overthinking. I just ordered some FRER on Amazon to be delivered this evening so I will try and not do a test until Sunday morning or try and stick it out until Monday morning.

@sunflowersaremyfav93 honestly i am keeping everything crossed for you!!! See if you can hold out until at least 12DPO before you take a test!
Most likely we will find out the gender but will probably keep it a secret from everyone until it pops out!! Itll be nice to keep it to ourselves :) I am jus looking forward to the 2nd trimester when I can start eating healthier again. I have never eaten so much junk in my life. Im constipated as hell from all the carbs lol

@CookieMonster3001 I feel like my nipples are really sensitive so I tested this morn 9dpo.. not FMU and in fact it was a tiny bit of wee like an hour after FMU so now I've been obsessed with playing around with the image and I think my eyes are just imagining a line. Can you tell me there's nothing there and I'm being silly please?

Here's the original.. def looks like nothing but I thought I could see something in one of the edited ones? Wishing thinking maybe?

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I did the exact same thing but It did turn out to be positive a day later. I’m the same as you- think I can see a very faint line but it could also be me imagining too

Ahh I hope so @NewbieB what day did you get a BFP? I'm thinking it wouldn't have been very strong urine at all so that also gives me hope.
Monday is the anniversary of FIL passing so I'm going to hold out till then and pray he gives us a little gift. 😭 god I'm so emotional and my boobs ache a bit today... exact same symptoms as AF which is always the way isn't it.

@sunflowersaremyfav93 I got negatives on day 9 where I thought i could see a ridiculously faint line then convinced myself it was nothing, later that day I had spotting so thought I’d come on. Woke up the next morning (10 DPO) without AF and felt slightly sick and did a test and faint line, went out and got early detections and saw clear lines.

It’s so hard isn’t it- trying not to get too excited but still really hoping it happens. Have everything crossed for you

Omg I just can't believe it! I went straight into my OH and said there's a line!!!! And he was very much like that's brilliant but let's just not get excited until you take another test in a few more days. I'm already worried I'll lose it which I know is stupid.

Any tips of what I should do the next few days/ weeks to give it the best chance of sticking?

@sunflowersaremyfav93 oh bless you! I can only imagine from what everyone says on here it goes from tww worry to 12 week worry etc but as much as you can try and enjoy the moment and the excitement as this is such amazing news :)

Last night was 11dpo... so 12dpo today I believe :)

We literally dtd the day of ovulation; that was it this month so I wasn't hoping too hard.. hopefully this one sticks 🤞🏻
It's the OH birthday 11th April so I'll hold out until then to tell him 😬 or try to x
