Thank you @mackjm20 😊 We’ve been trying for 11 months now, my cycles just seem to be all over the place! Just had AF but the month before I had 2 periods back to back so I have no idea what was going on there!? How are you getting on with your cycles and tracking etc?

We are lucky as we already have a 2 year old, but I just see the age gap getting bigger and bigger. And constant comments from ‘well-meaning’ people about how surely we’ll be having a second baby soon really doesn’t help. I think the stress and pressure is really getting to me now xx

@MashaPotato Ah I’m sorry - it feels worse each one that passes doesn’t it! This is cycle 8 for us and it’s just getting so tedious even though I know for some it’s much longer. I’m the exact same the last 4 months my cycles have gone all over the place! I’m tracking using opks and bbt. Opks suggested peak today so will see whether bbt shows ovulation as I’ve had 2 months with no ovulation at all - goodness knows what’s happening! How are you finding the tracking?

Aw bless you! It’s a lot of stress and pressure isn’t it! This is our first we are trying for but I know what you mean! Every time people say when will it be i lose my mind a little bit on the inside! X

@mackjm20 It’s so disheartening having months without ovulating at all isn’t it! Literally giving us no chance! I’d been using opk’s for some cycles but for so many I was just getting flashing smileys and no static. I think only a few times I’ve had the static smiley, and it was coming really late, at around CD20? Some of my cycles have been really long, around 34 days so lots of waiting. When we got statics we’d DTD so many times I really thought we were in with a chance, but I was so disappointed when AF came along. We actually had a short break from it all as it was getting too much. I’ve been so stressed from it all I was forgetting to enjoy and appreciate DD! Xx

@MashaPotato I literally lost the plot the first time it happened I thought ffs are you joking me! I’ve done all this tracking and dtd and not even ovulated.

Bless you it is really stressful I’ve tried to “stay calm and not think about it” but I don’t know how people do it lol!

No that makes total sense! Ah I hope we both get bfps soon! I’m just holding onto if it hits a year getting tests done etc and defo getting tested for pcos ASAP in the hope that if I do have that they can try and do something about it. I’m not sure that this dr google diagnosis rabbit hole I’ve found myself down is very helpful though lol!

@MashaPotato it is indeed. I’m currently 4dpo and I’m not going to lie I always just wish away the tww even if it’s a bfn would way rather the result to be quicker lol! How’re you doing? X

I’ve given up on tracking ovulation as my cycles are just impossible at the moment. We’re going for the ‘DTD lots and hope for the best’ approach lol. I’m currently on CD16 and been getting stomach cramps so hopefully that means something and I’m actually ovulating this month. I feel so disheartened by it all and it’s really been getting me down, I’m not expecting anything anymore so I can’t be disappointed xx

@MashaPotato it is indeed. Ah so annoying as I’ve been tracking bbt and it put me back to 4dpo today when yesterday was predicting 4dpo aswell so an extra day of hell lol!

Fingers crossed the cramping is ovulation for you! I know that’s where I am at like even though I’m always disappointed I’m not shocked if that makes sense- where as the first 3 months I was actually shocked when it didn’t happen now I would be stunned if it did xx

I'm all good, counting down the days until I have a scan. I should be contacted by the early pregnancy unit for a scan in a few weeks, just want to get to the 12 week mark so I can breathe a bit more.

@mackjm20 so my early scan has been booked in for April 27th, I'll be 7 weeks then, feels like I want it all to speed up so I can relax a bit.
My boobs were soooo sore, like it hurt to even touch slightly but I've woken up today and they don't hurt as much which worries me.. I kind of want them to hurt so I know I'm pregnant. Sounds silly really.

Thank you lovely! @mackjm20 I didn't realise it either, I caved and told my mum because I just worry so much and she said it's worry forever, you never stop worrying about your kids... so that's fun lol!

Hey ladies!! Sorry been so quite, have a final exam for the module I am working on for my masters and its due in tomorrow. Seriously have not had the energy to study but I have to get it done!!

I am starting to feel a lot better. Still get queezy if I get really hungry but thats about it. Ive had a lot of stretching pains this week and last night when i was lying down I am pretty sure I could feel a bump develop!! My 12 week scan is next Friday and I am sooooo nervous!! Even tho I still feel pregnant, you cant help but think the worst can you! Officially start my 2nd trimester on Saturday too so thats exciting! Cant wait to tell my family! Its been a long 9 weeks!!

@mackjm20 defo agree, i used to think I just want the tww to be over, little did I know that at each stage the anxiety and worry just gets worse!! Keeping my fingers crossed for u hun!!

Morning guys how’s everyone doing?

Another BFN for me this cycle ... on to cycle 9. Feeling pretty shit today I always try not to get my hopes up but just can’t help it.

Only plus is that I am having blood tests and an ultrasound for pcos so finally will be able to either know that that could be having an impact or rule it out I’ve fully convinced myself I have it.

I am tempted to take a pause this cycle as the end of may I am due my second vaccine so I feel like for the sake of a month atlesst I will be protected- wasn’t willing to park 3 months after my first one in March but feel like it’s so close maybe I’ll just wait and have it- feels like a wasted chance though so 50/50 at the moment

@CookieMonster3001 how did the final exam go? How are you doing? Is it the scan this Friday :)?

So sorry to hear that @mackjm20 I really feel gutted for you 😔 It’s the most disappointing feeling isn’t it. Sending a big hug to you.

I hope the testing goes well for pcos, fingers crossed it will eliminate it. I think a pause might do you good.. we had a month break from TTC when I was getting really disheartened and I felt so much better for it. I thought I’d feel like I was wasting time but now we’re back to trying again I feel much better for having a break. You can try and enjoy the month and really treat yourself!

I’m very sure AF is on her way to me soon as I’m getting all my usual symptoms ☹️ Xx

@mackjm20 I think it takes away all the feelings of anxiety/waiting when you know you haven’t even tried! But completely agree, it’s impossible not to think about it. I feel like everything I see at the moment are babies/pregnant women!!

To be honest I have no idea 🤦🏼‍♀️ My dates are so irregular and I haven’t been testing at all this month for ovulation. I think I’m due on in a week, and I always get horrific cramps the week before which I’ve had yesterday/today so really not getting my hopes up. I feel like deep down I’ve accepted it’s not going to happen, but I’m trying so hard to stay positive. Some days I can’t stop crying but other days I’m like ‘pull yourself together!’ 😆 xxx

@mackjm20 have you actually had AF yet or just a BFN? Xx

Sending you a hug @mackjm20, it's such a rollercoaster. I agree with @MashaPotato maybe a month break will help. It's becomes all consuming doesn't it, it's so hard.

I'm doing well, super tired and feeling sick. I'm just so glad to be wfh because I'm getting nothing done other than sleeping on my lunch break. Had a bit of very light brown discharge yesterday which seems normal according to Google but it gave me a bit of a panic so just looking forward to the scan now.

@CookieMonster3001 congrats on getting the last module done!! How are you feeling? Remind me how many weeks you are now?

@sunflowersaremyfav93 im doing well thank you! Yes i got my final exam in thank god. Next module starts in 2 weeks and then im taking a year out before doing my dissertation. I turned 12 weeks on Saturday so officially in my 2nd trimester now, and feeling so much better sickness wise.

I have my scan Friday which I am so excited for and equally nervous for. Just hope lil bubba is growing nicely.
