@NewbieB i never used my FMU as I wake about 4/5 for a wee then tested at 6.30 and then in the afternoon sometimes and I always got a flashing never a peak so I think you are fine!

@Potterurotter that's exciting about your viewings and that you've found a house! We've just brought our first house and I remember the feeling of finding the perfect house then having to do all the waiting and putting in offers etc it's so emotional!

@Arrierttyclock ah that’s good to know. It is my predicted day of ovulation today and DYD yesterday and today after the peak result. So the wait now begins.... 🤞🏼

So I have been using clear Blue digital ovulation sticks since last week and no sign of a smiley face! No idea what is going on. Have my last one in the packet today so will see what happens but I'm wondering am I ovulating at all.

@Arrierttyclock ahh it’s doing my head in we’ve already missed out on a couple I can’t take the emotional rollercoaster and the disappointment everything is flying off the market where we are at the moment

Ahhh I got my static smiley!!!!! It's day 11 so I wasn't going to test, then I saw a few people had got it on the 11th/12th day so did it after not holding in my wee and after lots of drinks so wasn't expecting it!!! Does the TWW start from today or tomorrow? We DTD yesterday and my husband actually said he felt pressure and I said I'm deff not ovulating I've missed my window and here we are! Going to DTD today and hopefully tomorrow! wasn't expecting it so I'm just so happy!

The silly thing is that I've felt reallt sick so I had kinda convinced myself that I was already pregnant anyway 😂🤦🏽‍♀️🤦🏽‍♀️

@Potterurotter ah I know Excatly how you feel. We put in an offer for a place- a flat right in the city and we lost out to a cash buyer. We were gutted! We're now in a house abit further out so completely did a U turn. Itl all work out for you just so frustrating!

@wowthisisreal ooh glad to hear I’ll have TWW friends... I’m already wondering what I should do to keep myself occupied during it! Mine says 25th but I’m going to start OPKS from tomorrow as today is the last day of AF. I use cheapy OPKs from Amazon they’re the ones you take a photo of and upload to the pre mom app?

@kayeyeem the fact that you’re trying for your third tells me the pain is all worth it. I can’t wait for the moment my baby is placed on me, I bet it’s amazing. I hope you get your Chinese today!! My fav takeaway!!
Oh god I’ll be the exact same as you!! I feel ya and it’s totally normally, @cookiemonster3001 made such a good point during my last TWW (which was unofficial) that anything I was feeling was likely to be a rise or drop (I think drop) in hormone... I won’t try spell them. So I’m sticking with that I hope for the next TWW it’s bloody easier said than done isn’t it. Apparently implantation etc happens from 6dpo - 10dpo so hold right the next 4/5 days. Will you be testing early or waiting for AF to hopefully not arrive?

@mackjm20 that must’ve been the episode I watched the other day, I know what you mean some of the episodes really worry me. One lady had a still birth at 25 weeks I think it was. My uterus issue means that I could miscarry at quite a late stage or have a preterm birth so it did trigger some emotions but I’m staying positive that I will have a happy and healthy little baby.
I literally can’t wait for my fertile week now, one week today, I just want to get on with it now. It’s crazy how impatient I am! Good that your mind is occupied by weight loss atm I feel like I go in cycles of my mind being occupied by things and atm my mind is consumed by TTC. Happy galentines day!!!! Here’s to all having our babies or being pregnant by next V day!!

Update from me: last day of AF today, 1 week until fertile window so going to DTD a few times this week and then I’ve told OH it’s everyday in fertile window so he needs to buckle up.
I was speaking to my SIL this morning, she literally sneezed and fell pregnant. She had a chemical and then the following month fell pregnant with my niece so she seems to be super fertile. Anyway she was saying how they’ll start trying towards end of the year. It’s so silly because we’ve not even had our first proper go at it but I’m already thinking she’s going to get her BFP before me and I’ll be gutted. I’m being so silly because ofc I’d be over the moon for them it just feels like everyone is pregnant atm and I know I’ll be gutted if it takes ages. I know I’m being so silly and it’s all stupid what isn’t thinking, just wanted to vent. My OH doesn’t understand why I feel this way because he rightly so tells me it’s not a competition. Sorry that was so much waffle!!

@Arrierttyclock yey!! Exciting! I am on the 2WW countdown from today now so we’ll be in it together 👍🏼👍🏼. First one for me and know i’ll be a right inpatient one about it all.

@sunflowersaremyfav93 it's so hard to not compare though isnt it! And it's so emotional it's only natural!

@Potterurotter Ooh exciting about your viewings and finding your dream house 😍 I'm jealous I've never been in the situation as my DH already owned this house when I met him. I do love that we've extended and made it how we like it but would love to have found me dream house 🏡 Although I understand it can be very stressful! Hope the whole process goes well for you.

@Arrierttyclock Good you got a smiley. To me I'd go from yesterday when you DTD for the 2ww but then I don't know much when it comes to all this 🤣 I say just get busy and enjoy the process 😉

@sunflowersaremyfav93 That is a very good point about hormones dropping etc. I need to remember that I'll never know for sure if I'm pregnant until I see that pregnancy test result so should stop 2nd guessing every thing...easier said than done 😂 you'd think I'd know better with this being my 3rd time trying 🤦🏽‍♀️😂
Aw I totally get it, it's ok to feel the way you do and it's natural to feel worried and potentially feel jealous, it's human nature. Some people do just have all the luck in certain areas. Remember even if they do beat you to conceiving that doesn't take anything away from you and your journey. Your time will come and it will beyond everything you've imagined 😊

@sunflowersaremyfav93 some of them are really emotional aren’t they?! Oh yea 100 percent best to stay positive :) honestly I love the idea of manifesting :) I think it’s so positive and I always think I’m not linking to a specific baby just to us having a little on one day to wear it :) I know exactly what you mean about others getting bfp like you will be happy for them but sad for you! Really hope you get yours quickly lovely :)

Morning happy Monday :)

Cd27 for me and 60% high LH today. This happened a couple of days before af last cycle so really hope that means she is on her way! No ovulation confirmed this cycle so I guess there is a small chance that’s what this is but thinking giving my average cycle is 30 days this would be very unlikely. Praying af comes and the cycle will be over :) hoping everyone had a lovely weekend :) xx

Thank you for the understanding yesterday ladies, I was quite anxious all day. I know I shouldn't pin my hopes on this cycle being the one (that is just setting myself up for disappointment). I opened up to OH about it and he said... wait for it... but you don't just have one week out of the month to get pregnant..... I was like LOL! So started to explain how the egg is released once blah blah blah... he clearly didn't understand how it worked before that haha!

@mackjm20 I know the feeling of just wanting AF here so she can go and you can get on with it. I hope she arrives soon. As for ovulation, I think where you've had a change in diet etc maybe your body just needed to get used to it?

@kayeyeem I remember when my parents had their extension, my nose was constantly full of dust!!Ahh I know the feeling! I keep saying I am not going to symptom spot but its so hard not to!

@mackjm20 I remember you telling us about the harry potter babygrow! so cute!! I think I might have a look around and consider getting one! The book I read said that if you really want something you should act as if you have it already to bring positive vibrations your way! ahh I hope this weekend you have had a chance to chill and not think about your cycle! Wouldnt normally want you ladies to have a AF but hope yours comes soon so you can crack on with your next cycle!

@sunflowersaremyfav93 Ahhh I know the feeling, thats exactly how I felt about my sister and it does suck sometimes not gonna lie, but everyone journey is different and its easier said than done but try not to compare your TTC journey to others, it will just take the fun out of it right from the beginning. Its good to vent though, good to get the emotion out! Another reason I am so glad we have this thread and you ladies!

@newbieb ahh glad you got your peak and got some BDing in!! Welcome to the TWW!!!I wouldnt worry about the reading having been false as it was clearly high enough in the PM to get a peak. This month I also got my peak in the PM :)

Update from me today:
So 7DPO today and here is a few things that have been going on. Totally symptom spotting but hey ho!

• I am normally quite crampy in my TWW but this month nothing. Today however I have a bit of a dull ache in my pelvic area.
• Lots of CM this TWW, mainly watery but also creamy most days
• Since ovulation, when I go for my walk, I have been feeling well and truly winded half way through
• no majot boob pain but I have been getting a few twangs here and there, like someone is poking them
• Massive dip in temp 5 and 6DPO (assuming this is the corpus lutuem dip) but I also had this the month I fell pregnant last time
• Wierd metallic taste in my mouth this morning, checked my teeth and my gums were fine no bleeding, but tasted like I had blood in my mouth. Didnt last long and is gone now.
• mouth feels a bit dry
• super super super super mild nausea this morning for literally 10 mins, had to have a mint.

I really feel like this month might be our month. Fingers crossed!

Ooh @CookieMonster3001 this all sounds really positive!!! When are you going to test? I have fingers crossed for you!! It def sounds good!

@CookieMonster3001 thanks!! Did a bit of BDing day of getting peak and morning after so fingers are crossed (and also realistically trying not to get excited). Got very sore nipples so hoping that means i did ovulate.

P.S do you ladies limit caffeine and avoid alcohol during TWW?? X

Hi ladies, can I join you too?

It's been more than a year of trying with one chemical pregnancy in May. So I become very impatient now. AF is due this Thursday-Friday and as always I am imagining symptom (sore boob, nausea, spotting, light cramping and so on). trying to not test till Saturday at least (if AF doesn't come). Need your supports to stay sane.

@NewbieB @sunflowersaremyfav93 thanks!! Hoping to hold out till the end of the week before I test..

I only really have one caffeine (coffee) drink a week, usually on Saturday, but I have switched to decaf since TTC started. I still drink alcohol until I get a positive, but I don't drink much anyway, a drink or two on the weekend and that's about it.

@CookieMonster3001 oh well done- must be so hard to wait, I know I will be a nightmare soon!
I’m used to 3-4 cups of tea a day so going to cut down to one a day for now as will struggle. Have just bought a load of de-caf tea for rest of day. I never thought of having to cut stuff out whilst trying but it makes total sense in case it does happen
