@Furbsies congratulations!!!

I know how you feel, it's horrible that the joy is take. Away from us and we are just in a weird limbo of feeling petrified when we get a positive!

I know it's really hard and not great advice but someone said to me when I was going through the limbo of my second loss, that what will be will be, you cannot do anything to change that, hopefully this time is the one that sticks for you and you'll be able to start letting go of the worry and start feeling positive!

No amount of worry or stress will change anything! It's such a scary time when you've suffered a loss in the past but that doesn't mean things will end badly this time! Focus on yourself and your little bean growing for now! 💕

PumpkinEverything · 16/02/2021 18:13

Congrats @Furbsies 😊 when you feel up to it; feel free to join us on this thread that @Pancakes7 set up. A few of us have found out we’re pregnant recently and have all had miscarriages and can share our anxieties together!

NatJ24 · 16/02/2021 18:23

@ELMcg aw it does seem so long away but will hopefully go quickly! Every day that AF doesn't show is a day closer.
AF is due the 24th, I'd like to hold out until then if I can but whether I do or not is a different story haha! I think weekdays I'm fine but once it gets to the weekend with all that free time it's harder. So we will see 🙈

Furbsies · 16/02/2021 19:24

@Mamat90 thank you for those reassuring words. I assume all of us go through the same feelings. It's hard but I'm trying to focus on all the positives.

@PumpkinEverything I will join right away. Any bit of support and reassurance will be helpful now

ELMcg · 16/02/2021 20:13

@NatJ24 I know it's so much easier said than done isn't it not to test!

I'm just trying not to buy any so will stop me getting the urge. I'm also trying not to read in to symptoms as I know so many are similar to AF arriving but hard not to! I've had all sorts of twinges this week and a bit of back pain but could mean nothing so keep reminding myself of that!

vitaminb33 · 16/02/2021 22:44

Thank you @Mamat90 I'll look into that!

I remember when I was TTC my first (a few years ago) I was part of a clearblue trial of one of their monitors but it was pretty confusing and doesn't look anything like the ones currently on offer. I ordered some basics strips so might experiment next cycle and then try a monitor the cycle after that

Mamat90 · 17/02/2021 08:08

@vitaminb33 it's deffo worth a look into! They have a video that explains it really well!

Also I have some cheapies that I've been using whilst I wait for my cycle to get back to normal la after MMC, and there's an app called Premom that you can photograph the ovulation strips and it analyses them and tells you if your low high peak! Not sure how accurate it is yet as I haven't ovulated but if it works it could be super handy for analysing the cheapies!

PumpkinEverything · 17/02/2021 08:56

I used the Premom app @Mamat90 and I think it’s pretty good. I scanned the strips in every time and it detected the peak for me, I just made sure they were dry properly and the lighting was okay. I’ve then had signs of ovulation around the time of my peak test, and got pregnant twice using it, so think it works!

ELMcg · 17/02/2021 09:22

Morning everyone! So at the risk of sounding totally nuts and symptom spotting (which I said I wouldn't do, oops!) I have been having completely insane dreams for a few nights now. So so vivid that I woke up last night and thought there was a tarantula above my bed 😂.

So I had this with my first pregnancy and was one of my first symptoms along with needing a wee all the time but no other real symptoms yet this time as way way too early. Think I am maybe reading in to things?

bez91 · 17/02/2021 09:48

@ELMcg 😂 it's possible I had vivid dreams during my TWW with the last 2 BFPs but I also had one last month when I got a BFN, everyone seems to have a telltale symptom though so could be yours .
Mine is nosebleeds in the TWW for a BFP 🤷‍♀️🙈

ELMcg · 17/02/2021 09:52

@bez91 haha that's so random! It's honestly out of control! I feel like it's either AF on its away or a sign something is going on. It's just so early whereas last time these things started around week 5. Hence why I'm a bit confused!

NatJ24 · 17/02/2021 11:50

@ELMcg I swear this is me! Last time I was having such vivid dreams and the same thing has been happening again for the last couple of nights!! You wouldn't think it wouldn't be a real thing but so many people say it. Its bizarre!
I am doing the same as you and trying to not look in to it all too much but its hard 🙈

Garman · 17/02/2021 15:03

Tested just now at 8dpo with frer and got this Shock Af not due until next week so I realise it's still very far away. I wanted to test anyway because if I catch a chemical pregnancy at least I know it can happen again, otherwise I think I'm giving up because the stress of ttc since mmc is just disgusting.

It was my last test too 😂 Damn!

Garman · 17/02/2021 15:03

Would help if I added the photo!

vitaminb33 · 17/02/2021 15:39

Wow congrats @Garman! Looks like a really good line for so early!

Garman · 17/02/2021 15:50

Thanks @vitaminb33, yeah I was literally doing the test just to confirm for myself I was being ridiculous to test so early so I absolutely couldn't believe it. So now I've swapped one long wait to know what's happening for another!

chloedancer897 · 17/02/2021 16:56

@RichmondLady1981 privately funding. Still on the waiting list for NHS treatment. Had my review today so hoping to start treatment in May. He said it's about 40% success rate but I'm willing to try anything now. Keep me updated lovely xx

chloedancer897 · 17/02/2021 17:18

@RichmondLady1981 also which IVF support group are you on? I'd love to join x

@chloedancer897

Also have a read through the December/JAN/Feb threads. Some unreal stories. One lovely lady only had one follicle growing, one egg retrieved and is now 8 weeks pregnant. Unreal!

ELMcg · 17/02/2021 17:37

@NatJ24 can't believe we have identical symptoms 😂. Hope it means good news is coming for us!

I keep telling myself to calm down because sometimes I get a feeling AF is on its way!

ELMcg · 17/02/2021 17:39

@NatJ24 our symptoms and timelines are so identical it's scary 😂

I am also super bloated though which makes me think AF is on its way!

NatJ24 · 17/02/2021 20:26

@Garman wow thats such a good line for 8dpo! Amazing 🥰

NatJ24 · 17/02/2021 20:28

@ELMcg I know!!! We have had such a similar experience up to now!!! Its crazy! I hope we both get good news soon!
I keep swapping between optimistic and thinking this must be a good sign to definitely not and preparing for AF this month! We will soon see!

ELMcg · 18/02/2021 08:40

@NatJ24 the week of awful sleep continues 😂 finally nodded off last night after being BOILING in bed for hours, then my puppy decided he wasn't well and barked to get out at 2am 😂. Glad we don't have to DTD this week, I'm exhausted!

Sleeeeeepy · 18/02/2021 11:20

Just marking my place. I ended up having a second round of medical management for the MMC ten days ago and seems to have worked this time. Now the wait for my cycle to come back..,
