Hi ladies, happy Valentine's Day 😉 anyone testing this week?

Been getting high fertility readings on clearblue digital the last few days, I only test once a day but today decided to test this afternoon too for some reason and got my peak. I've been having 31 day cycles since my last MMC so my luteal phase will be 18 days again which is a bit longer than average. Anyone else having long luteal phases post MC? And anyone cycle buddies about to go into TWW?

Ah exciting that you got your peak! I got my peak in a second test of the day too so I definitely think its worth the second test isn't it. Im not sure about the length of my luteal phase since MC because this is my first cycle after my first period since the MC, if that makes sense.
I'm currently 4dpo so not much in front but going to try and hold off on testing for as long as I can!

Hi everyone! Happy Valentine’s Day ❤️. I’m just wondering what you all think about the amount of DTD? We’ve been doing every day during my ovulation period and by the end my husband is a bit worn out. I’m wondering if we’re starting too early then by the time I get my peak we don’t have the best quality sperm. I’m thinking of just dtd every other day this month?? What has worked for you guys? Thanks

It varies for us @Florence15 but I know what you mean about getting a bit worn out DTD every day. The month I got pregnant we DTD every day 3 days before ovulation and then on day of so 4 times in total. This month we've been a bit more relaxed about it and have DTD every 2days including day I got my peak. Good luck!

@Florence15 someone once told me that they just DTD loads on the day before and ovulation day! I'm not sure how many times lol but they do have 4 children so did something right! Maybe its worth a try?!

@Florence15 I dtd every other day while I'm getting High results. Then when I get peak I make sure we dtd on both days. I got my BFP this week. So worth a try.

@Loll35 thanks for the reply. I’m going to try and hold off dtd every day until just before ovulation this month. Think we start the every day thing way too early 😂. I think they say sperm is most potent when he’s left it 3/4 days since ejaculation 🤷‍♀️

@NatJ24 ahh yes I think I remember you saying now about afternoon testing, first time I've done it and doesn't really change anything this cycle with when we've DTD but still nice to know 😊 it's strange because nothing really changed after my first MC, cycles were still madly irregular but after this latest MC in Nov/Dec it almost seems to have found me some kind of pattern 🙈 hoping you're not going mad yet at 4dpo and you too @Loll35 🤞🏼

@Florence15 like @Pancakes7 usually every other day, worked twice before for my 2 MC BFPs or just ensuring it's like 3 times in FW. I got my peak today and we DTD today but will probably again tomorrow anyway. I think there's been a few studies that don't see any better results from every day to every other day so I wouldn't worry 😊

@Florence15 I think every other day before ovulation is a good idea as sperm can live for up to 6 days. Good to have a lot in before ovulation, ready lol. I tend to stop dtd as much after ovulation. Fingers crossed for you

I am ttc #1. I was pregnant and found out at my 12 week scan that i had MMC. I haven't yet had my period but have just continued ‘not trying’ and ‘not not trying’ so we will see! Would be delighted if i got a BFP before the first cycle but not holding out hope, i think i’m around 9dpo but not entirely sure.

@chloedancer897 hi! Surreal to have started the process. Once you get your head around the stims, it’s all ok. I have my first scan on Tuesday to see how I’m responding to the stims. That’s quite a big one to see if it’s working. Fingers crossed. I’ll definitely keep you posted. Where are thinking of getting treatment? Private or NHS funded? X

Morning ladies hope everyone is feeling positive this week! I'm in the TWW and as I didn't catch ovulation (although I am pretty sure it happened) I am somewhere between 5 and 13 DPO. Just waiting for AF or a late AF to tell to be honest!

Woke up today with a banging headache! The hormonal headaches since MC are honestly killing me. Don't think anyone prepares you for the bizarre symptoms hanging around 2 months on.

@HappyVibes @RichmondLady1981 I'm thrilled you are both doing well! Can't believe you are past 9 weeks Happy - I've been thinking of you often. And so glad you are being proactive with the ivf and just going for it, Richmond Lady 😊😊 You never know, you may not need it in the end, but what a relaxing and reassuring thing to have it in progress!

I'm fine, been dealing with the ups and downs of online studying, and have spent this cycle not doing a single ttc thing other than take supplements and dtd a lot. I honestly couldn't be bothered with tracking and feeling like I was doing something wrong when it didn't 'work'. AF is due this week so fingers crossed of course, but I'm not even really counting days. It's been a welcome respite.

God i'm getting so frustrated, my cycle is all over the bloody place.
So this is my first test on CD4 and it looks like a peak!!!
So thats 2 months in a row i'm going to have missed it!!

I am 33 and TTC Baby no.1 since 2019. Got pregnant on first month TTC but had a MMC at 9 weeks August 2019 (had seen a heart beat but then baby stopped growing at 6 weeks and 2 days). I tried medical management but it didnt work so had a MVA.

I didn't start TTC again until January 2020 (wish I didn't wait so long) but took us 11 months to catch. Then again this January (3 weeks ago) had a MMC at 10 weeks after having seen the heart beat at 8 weeks and 2 days. Had medical management which actually worked and I have been cleared on the ultrasound. Have not had any bleeding for a week now. However I am still getting very faint lines but they are fading.

I am TTC starting away (not waiting for a period), although terrifying. I don't think I've ovulated as I normally get severe ovulation pain which I haven't had yet. I have been holding off dtd with other half until I get a negative pregnancy test but yesterday we dtd I hope it doesn't cause any problems.

Has anyone else dtd before getting a negative pregnancy test after miscarriage and it caused any problems?

Welcome @Dogmom92 and @SY16 sorry you find yourselves here but you're in good company 😊 @SY16 I think the only problem is dating the pregnancy if you were to get pregnant and for some knowing if everything had been successful in the intervention but if you've had a clear ultrasound since I don't see there being any problems, we were advised to use condoms for a while until I got a negative test after MMC for infection reasons but so many ladies on here have been told otherwise so just go with your gut I'd say!

Hey @ELMcg when is AF due for you? I think I'd kind of like to not know exactly how many days DPO I was. I'm going to give it a couple more cycles and probably stop tracking if no BFP. I get the headaches 😫 found this to be more consistent with stopping the pill a year ago though rather than post MC, they're horrendous I know. Hope you feel better soon!

@elsimo sorry I can't help, I use Clearblue just for the ease of it. Did you seem to get your peak at CD4 last time? That would be strange

@bez91 I know they are such a nightmare aren't they? I never experienced them before until after MC so it's making me think my hormones are still settling down so fully expecting AF this month.

I stopped the pill in May 2020 and had no side effects, AF settled in to a routine a few months later.

Due on Friday so going to wait until a week Friday to test if AF doesn't show up. No idea what my cycle is so can't really call myself late if it doesn't arrive this weekend. It would just be late compared to my pre MC cycle.

How are you getting on this week?

Nope got my peak at day 10 the last 2 cycles but I just had a really light period so no idea whats going on

@elsimo have to taken a hgc test? If you had a light period and are now getting a positive on your Lh early it could have been an implantation bleed rather than period as Lh has been known to show up if you're pregnant! 🤞🏻

Yeah I did that this morning, BFP!
It's so annoying, I have been feeling really moody/down/emotional but little wonder my hormones are all over the place.
I'm not 100% convinced it is ovulation as I have no ovulation pain xx
