@elsimo you got a bfp on the hcg as well as the Lh? That means you're pregnant not ovulating!

bez91 · 15/02/2021 13:35

@ELMcg definitely! I never really appreciated the affect hormones have on you until coming off the pill and my MCs. It's crazy! That's a good idea if you don't really know where you're at, fingers crossed for you!
Getting on good this week thanks, ov day is about today and managed to have an exceptionally rare few days just me and DH last week (well I was WFH but actually had the house to ourselves) and nice just us two. Lots to keep busy with in the TWW so will try not to go mad 😊

@Marvellouslymadmum haha definate Typo it was a BFN

Marvellouslymadmum · 15/02/2021 14:30

@elsimo ahh I did wonder haha in that case I'm clueless have you tried another Lhoncase that one was a bit off?

pixienewbie · 15/02/2021 15:31

@ELMcg and @NatJ24 thanks so much for taking the time to respond to me. I did a test on Saturday and it was positive. Still not sure I can believe it. And my husband can’t understand why I’m not jumping for joy - I’m so pleased but just don’t quite believe it and full of anxiety.

So I’m not that really annoying person who posts once and then ends up pregnant but I hope it gives some hope to everyone. xx

NatJ24 · 15/02/2021 15:48

@pixienewbie ah congratulations! I love annoying people who post once then end up pregnant! Its what we all want and definitely gives us hope! Good luck with everything 🤗

pixienewbie · 15/02/2021 15:52

Thank you @NatJ24

ELMcg · 15/02/2021 15:57

@pixienewbie aww that's lovely news! So nice to hear positive stories on this page.

Hope this is the one for you! 🤞

RichmondLady1981 · 15/02/2021 16:11

@bez91 thank you so much. X

@susiebluebell lovely to hear from you. I know EXACTLY what you mean. I used to obsess with dates, peeing on sticks etc to the point where I felt like it was taking over and my life was passing me by. I think it’s good to try and escape at times. Everything crossed AF doesn’t show.

@HappyVibes super excited for you- keep us posted on your journey pls. X x

minthumbugs · 15/02/2021 16:23

Hi everyone, hope it's ok if I join for support!

I wish you all the best of luck Flowers

I've had one successful pregnancy and two losses, the most recent one this year and my first period has arrived today. DP was a bit unsure about trying again but hopefully all going well we will start TTC this month.

Staying positive and hoping for a miracle xx

Leesha94 · 16/02/2021 08:44

Morning everyone!

Hope you don’t mind me joining. We got our first BFP back in October, but it sadly ended in a mmc and I miscarried naturally in December.

I’ve been tracking my ovulation this cycle and had positives from Saturday morning to Sunday night. (Test Line was still just as dark as the control line yesterday, but over the weekend the test line was much darker than the control line. So I’ve decided to call ovulation yesterday (CD18!)).

With being so busy at work we only managed to DTD CD13, 16 and 18. So hopes aren’t hugely high this month, but we’re in with a shot 🤞!

Fingers crossed and baby dust to anyone due to start testing this week x

Florence15 · 16/02/2021 09:09

@Leesha94 morning, I’m sorry to hear that I hope you’re ok. I was the same as you. BFP in October but sadly miscarried naturally in December at 11 weeks. This is my 3rd cycle since and I’m on CD6 at the minute and really going to try and track this month. I’ve not always been successful getting positive opks since. How have you felt since? Have your cycles been regular? Fingers crossed you did catch this month 🤞

SLCxxx · 16/02/2021 09:11

Morning ladies
Congratulations on the BNPs! Welcome @minthumbugs @Leesha94 and all new to thread, sorry for your losses.

Dreaded AF turned up yesterday 😡 so am now on CD2.. it’s so strange to go from 14DPO ‘could I be pregnant’ to CD2 🤦🏼‍♀️

Any cycle buddies?

ELMcg · 16/02/2021 09:34

@Leesha94 Welcome to the group and sorry you find yourself here.

I am in a very similar position to you having found out I was pregnant in October and then had surgical management for an MMC in December. My period arrive 5 weeks later in mid Jan so I am really on my first cycle of trying, I did track ovulation but missed it so I am somewhere between 6-14 DPO! Just waiting to see if I am late before I test at all. Fingers crossed you have a successful month this month!

Myself and @NatJ24 are at an identical stage and think we would both agree it's comfort being in the same boat!

NatJ24 · 16/02/2021 10:29

Welcome @minthumbugs and @Leesha94 sorry for your losses 💖

Yes, as @ELMcg has said, we are very similar. Found out I was pregnant in October, MMC in December and medical management. Currently 6dpo on first proper cycle since. Just waiting now to see 🙏
I hope its good news for us all!
Are you waiting until atleast another week to test ELMcg

Leesha94 · 16/02/2021 11:14

@Florence15 @ELMcg @NatJ24 Thanks ladies!

Florence, this is my first cycle since my miscarriage. I bled for just over 3 weeks leading into the start of January, then got AF on the 29th of January.

We got extremely lucky last time and caught on our first try! Hoping for the same this time, but fully expecting it to take a while!

Lollipop25 · 16/02/2021 12:03

Best of luck @minthumbugs😃 only natural to be a bit nervous 🤞🤞for you.

ELMcg · 16/02/2021 12:40

@NatJ24 yes so AF is due the end of this week 20th to be exact! If AF doesn't arrive I plan not to test until the 26th. A couple of reasons, I voulf easily have a longer cycle so waiting 35 days instead of 28 to avoid disappointment and also we are both off work that day.

Last time I tested positive my husband couldn't concentrate at work so he has said no testing on a work day😂 I'm aware I'm waiting a really long time though and have no tests in the house to avoid temptation!

When are you thinking to test?

Marvellouslymadmum · 16/02/2021 13:11

Welcome @Leesha94 @minthumbugs I'm sorry for your losses.

@SLCxxx I was spotting yesterday and af arrived fully this morning so I can't quite decide if this is cd1 or 2 🤦🏼‍♀️

vitaminb33 · 16/02/2021 13:14

Hi to all the new people - so sorry for your losses.

bez91 · 16/02/2021 13:28

@Leesha94 welcome! We're ovulation buddies 🙈 yesterday for me also at CD14. Also quite similar to me, pregnant October and MMC at 11 weeks and had surgical management start of December. Had a MC also last year at 6/7 weeks. - didn't realise we were also so similar in timings @ELMcg and @NatJ24

My period returned bizarrely normally after my MMC at start of January but BFN last month, now at 1dpo today again 🤦🏼‍♀️

Furbsies · 16/02/2021 14:58

Hey guys. Hope you are all well. Not sure if you remember me from a few threads ago. I took a backseat since I got too anxious from all the testing.

A couple days back I started spotting and thought here's AF and then after light spotting it's stopped, my boobs felt heavier and I felt like I had reflux. So I tested with a cheapie thinking it's gna be negative. It was a faint positive, I quickly opened my frer and got a very clear line. So so scared and have no idea how far along or anything, my last period was 7th Jan but I know I didn't ovulate till much later in the cycle.

I've just had a long morning crying randomly because I'm happy and scared

I wanted to share with someone but I don't want to with family so I've come here. Is feeling like this normal and ever change? I'm so scared this is not going to last very long like the last time

Furbsies · 16/02/2021 15:00

I should have mentioned I miscarried last year in May, at 7 weeks

Furbsies · 16/02/2021 15:47

Just caught up @HappyVibes and @RichmondLady1981 so so happy for you both. Massive congratulations!! And so excited you've crossed 9 weeks

Mamat90 · 16/02/2021 16:00

@vitaminb33

Hi lovely! Ovulation strips have always baffled me along with temping I just feel like I could never clearly make out what they meant!

We've been trying for 3 years with one ectopic after 1.5 years and a MMC another 1.5 years later

The second time we fell pregnant we'd just brought a clear blue fertility monitor, they are a bit pricey although the monitor it self lots of people sell on eBay and it really doesn't need to be new, then you have to buy a pack of fertility sticks that work with it which cost about £30 every two months, again pricey but I highly recommend! We fell pregnant on the second cycle using it! Obviously that ended in MMC for us but I can tell you it just made things much more stress free for me, it beeps when you need to do a test and the. It tells you your low, high ovulation and peak ovulation days and just makes it so much more simpler!
