I'm 5dpo and I hate my partner lol.

I have 21 day bloods on Wed but i'm pretty sure I have ovulated this month but not the past couple. Not really sure when my period will come as its been all over the place since my MC.

Congrats to the BFP's

Xx

chloedancer897 · 18/04/2021 23:04

@HappyVibes it's amazing to hear from you. I think of you often and was wondering how you were. I'm so glad to hear everything is going well. And another girl! Amazing!

@RichmondLady1981 thank you so much. And thanks for all of your support. Keep in touch x

MammaJ21 · 19/04/2021 07:18

@gizmo167 Thanks for the response. Keeping everything crossed for you!!!

Congrats to those who have had a bfp...wishing you all a healthy pregnancy. and for those of you waiting, hope this cycle is kind to you all ♥️

bubblybrit · 19/04/2021 07:25

@Marvellouslymadmum. TTC is such a rollercoaster. I feel that I’m up and down daily at times. Hope you are feeling a little more positive today x

bubblybrit · 19/04/2021 07:27

@bez91. Yes an egg would be nice. I usually get peak fertility so although I’m hoping for the best (just missed the LH surge) I’m also trying to prepare for the worst (that I haven’t ovulated). Guess only time will tell 🤞 x

bubblybrit · 19/04/2021 07:28

Congratulations to all the BFPs. It’s lovely to hear such positive news 😀 xx

susiebluebell · 19/04/2021 08:10

Yes, congratulations to the BFPs, we all love good news here 😊💕

@HappyVibes I am over the moon to hear that your pregnancy is going smoothly, and you've got a little girl on the way! Like others have said, you're often on my mind and I hope it all continues beautifully. I am doing well, come off all supplements because they were messing up my cycle, and just focusing on tracking really closely! Feeling healthy and positive xx

SamBass · 19/04/2021 09:49

Hello all I'm wondering if you can help me i had a MMC detected on 9th March with surgery on the 15th of March. On 5th April i got a negative pregnancy test (supermarket branded). Im pretty sure I ovulated 5/6 ays later.
I am yet to start my AF and today is 5 weeks since surgery and so I took a test this morning which i think shows an extremely faint line! The thing is this morning test was a First Response which i know detect lower levels of HCG. Is it a possibility that it's detected hormones from the MMC given my negative before was with a supermarket branded test? Although I'm pretty certain I ovulated shortly after the first test.
Any advise would be really appreciated my MMC was my first pregnancy and its all very confusing.....

justwant2beamum · 19/04/2021 11:25

@SamBass if ovulation was 5/6 days after 5th April youd only be about 8/9dpo at the moment - sorry it's not much help but I'd say could be either at the moment. At 8/9dpo then a vvfl is all you would expect but equally could be that your hcg is just not quite at 0. I think the only way to know is keep testing see if you get a darker line. 8/9dpo is early even for a faint line so if it's new pregnancy then by like 11/12dpo you should get a good line?
Sorry I know that's not very helpful when you probably just want an answer! 🤞🏻 it's a new BFP xxx

SamBass · 19/04/2021 12:11

@justwant2beamum thank you for reply 😌 it is as I expected really could be either. I think i will test again at the end of the week and see if its fainter or darker and go from there. As you can see it is a very faint line from this morning

gizmo167 · 19/04/2021 12:46

@SamBass I can def see a line, same advice here, test in a few days and you should see the line getting darker, keeping all crossed for you x

I'm going to do a CB on Wednesday and then I'll be officially late, AF I would have expected tomorrow. I have a touch of a headache today and still getting cramps but nothing else, boobs arent one bit sore this time around, which of course worries me that maybe I've tested too early, I cant win!!! Really dont think I could cope with a third loss in a year!

SamBass · 19/04/2021 12:53

@gizmo167 all finger crossed for you too, its so difficult and stressful isn't it!? I have head ache today and needing to wee a-lot but very difficult from last time when my sense and sore boobs was the first sign...

you will have to let me know how you get on x

bez91 · 19/04/2021 16:14

@SamBass it's really hard to say so no other advice apart from to test again in a few days like other ladies have said and try and use the same test type so you can compare.

@gizmo167 try not to worry and compare to other pregnancies, it might be totally normal this time round that there's no achy boobs, fingers crossed for you for Wednesday

Hi all, im new to mumsnet :) Im not technically ttc yet, i only had confirmation of my mc yesterday (1st pg) but i knew it was happening so was mentally preparing myself for the news... anyway i am eager to start trying again soon and am wondering how long you waited before trying? and was there any particular reason you waited/didnt wait ?

MammaJ21 · 19/04/2021 19:20

@Canadadarling sorry to hear this.
It's so tough isn't it

so I had a MC a few months ago...all managed at gone etc no intervention. I had one af after that, then a bfp but unfortunately had an early MC again. Haven't been told to wait or any advice really. They suggest waiting a month for dating purposes. I think if you have surgical.management etc they say wait a couple

I think it depends on you and how you feel about it all too as to whether you wait or start trying again

Loulou237 · 19/04/2021 19:21

Hi @Canadadarling so sorry you’re going through this. I think it’s safe to try as soon as you’re ready...they used to say to leave it a few months but now when drs say to wait one cycle that’s just because it’s easier to date the pregnancy if that’s the case. Lots of women on this thread have conceived again within a couple of weeks and not even had a period in between! So it’s entirely up to you. Hope you’re feeling ok xx

Canadadarling · 19/04/2021 19:29

@MammaJ21 @Loulou237 it is hard, i knew the risks are high but for some reason never thought it would actually happen to me. I 'completed' it naturally so i think im going to test in a week or so and wait for the negative before trying. Thank you for the advice, it gives me hope knowing its possible to get pg again soon!

Loll35 · 19/04/2021 19:33

Hi ladies, I haven't posted on in here in a good month or so as needed to take a break from ttc (I had a mmc in December) but iv been reading and keeping track of all your stories. Congrats to those with bfps. Its so lovely to hear positive stories.

An update from me - I had some breast and abdomen tenderness on Saturday so I used a cheap test I had left and astonishingly there were two lines. Did a CB later that day and it said pregnant 1-2 weeks. I'm trying to take each day as it comes. My af isn't even due until Wednesday. Came over queasy this evening so going to have an early night and rest. Praying this one works out 🙏

Canadadarling · 19/04/2021 20:04

@Loll35 congrats on your positive! praying that everything goes well for you

justwant2beamum · 19/04/2021 20:24

@Loll35 aw congratulations 🤞🏻 all goes well for you xxx

Loll35 · 19/04/2021 20:25

Thank you @Canadadarling
See how you feel over the next few weeks, get lots of rest and be kind on yourself. Personally the mc took a few months for me to process emotionally but everyone is different x

Loll35 · 19/04/2021 20:26

@justwant2beamum thank you fingers crossed xx

bez91 · 19/04/2021 21:58

Big congratulations @Loll35 😊 fantastic news

I'm loosing track whose still on this thread, think we have @justwant2beamum @bubblybrit testing this week, anyone else?
You @elsimo or you next week? 😊

Had my 21 day bloods today so hopefully another step forward to finding out the crack

SamBass · 19/04/2021 22:03

@bez91 thank you I'm going to test again in morning or maybe I should wait until the end of the week...

bubblybrit · 19/04/2021 22:25

@bez91. Yep I’m trying to hold off until Saturday as AF would usually be due any time between now and Thursday. Must admit that I feel a bit.....strange. I keep getting twinges and cramps so expecting to see AF when I go to the bathroom. No sign yet but twinges/cramps keep coming and going. Usually I get pretty constant cramps when AF is around the corner. Think I’m probably being overly optimistic though and keep reminding myself that I didn’t get a peak so it’s a possibility that I didn’t ovulate. You got any symptoms at the moment?
