Hi and welcome @Loulou237 Smile Lovely to read about your little one, and sorry that you had a MMC. People react differently ... I initially bounced back really quickly and felt fine once I'd had my day of crying and being looked after, and then a few weeks down the line I had processed it more and started to feel really sad. And it is still affecting me, although not as frequently. There's no right way to experience it.

Totally with you on wanting to get pregnant asap again though, and you'll do yourself good not to test too early. We all know the stress that brings Wink x

justwant2beamum · 17/04/2021 21:58

Welcome @Loulou237 fingers crossed for you 🤞🏻✨

HappyVibes · 17/04/2021 22:35

@Loulou237 thank you lovely that is so very sweet of you. Good luck with your journey lovely, sending you all the calm and positive vibes 💫

@RichmondLady1981 your update has made me smile and feel so warm inside. What a magical journey. Wishing you a lovely and calm pregnancy now my lovely 💖

@susiebluebell how are you doing babe & how is your journey? So sorry I have just been in my own little bubble so apologies I have only just checked in on here. So nice to know you’re thinking of us.

Our pregnancy has progressed amazingly so far thankfully, thank you for asking. Currently 19 weeks, with baby GIRL due in September 💖I don’t like to share too much on here about my pregnancy as I know it can be difficult for some to read. However ladies, please see this as hope and faith to carry on! 4 losses and we have made it!!!! Progesterone & Aspirin until 16weeks did the trick thankfully for us this time around. I have strep B and opposite blood to baby but aside from this, so far so good with baby girl all safe and nestled away 🤞🏽💫

Xxxxxx

bez91 · 18/04/2021 07:00

Welcome @Loulou237 sorry to hear of your recent MMC. I'd echo @susiebluebell comments there's no right or wrong way to feel. I'm 5 months on from my most recent MMC and the sadness still creeps up on my sometimes.

That's fantastic @HappyVibes really pleased to hear that things are going well 😊

Thank you @susiebluebell yes I feel the same but okay overall. You’re right I guess there’s no right or wrong way to experience it. How is your journey going?

gizmo167 · 18/04/2021 18:39

Its me again, if you remember me! Been absent for over a month following mc in February, needed some time to process everything, as some of you may remember I turned 43 last month so its really last chance saloon for me!

I'm cd28 & on cd26 i had a slight bleed, had same thing on my last bfp cycle same day & everything, haven't had any since & me being curious i tested, can you see anything?

bubblybrit · 18/04/2021 18:55

@gizmo167. That certainly looks like a BFP to me. Congratulations x

bubblybrit · 18/04/2021 18:57

Hope you are ok @Marvellouslymadmum x

bez91 · 18/04/2021 19:18

@Marvellouslymadmum sorry to hear about your wobble, it's hard to stay positive sometimes 💕

@gizmo167 deffo a BFP - congratulations

Is anyone testing this week? According to my OPKs I'm 9dpo but 99.9% sure I haven't ovulated so was just going to wait until AF shows although got transvag ultrasound next weekend so will probably test Friday just to make sure before 🙄 21 day bloods tomorrow

OP posts:
bubblybrit · 18/04/2021 19:56

@bez91. I’m holding off until Saturday if I can. I’m not convinced I ovulated this month as never got peak fertility on opks so don’t want to waste a test. AF due mid week so if not arrived by Saturday then I’ll test. Wishing you luck for Friday 😀

justwant2beamum · 18/04/2021 19:56

@gizmo167 amazing!! Congrats! That's a strong line on an IC!

@bez91 I'll probably test Thursday/Friday, currently 6dpo but I feel like I'm out no rocketing rhr like I had last BFP so tonight I said screw it had a few drinks and went in our new hot tub!

Acebobase · 18/04/2021 20:00

@gizmo167 that's a BFP for sure, big congrats

Congrats too to the other recent bfp and thoughts to the new joiners

I'm generally watching along and I've also just got a bfp this w/e on a cheapie and a clear blue one (1-2 weeks so 4 weeks)

Am so anxious after two mc in a row. I'm trying to be rational but it's so hard.

Calling the gp in the morning as they said I'd be scanned early this time, so let's see

Almost don't want to put this out there in case I'm tempting fate but we have to try and get excited and put the precious mc aside, right?

gizmo167 · 18/04/2021 20:18

@Acebobase me too lovely, I've had 2 mc in a row, took a year between my first & last but just a month in between last one which was in Feb

Loulou237 · 18/04/2021 20:30

Congratulations @gizmo167 and @Acebobase. It’s understandable to be anxious about it but yes you’re also right that you should let yourself get excited. I’m going to try to be. It’s more likely that you will have a happy healthy pregnancy!

MammaJ21 · 18/04/2021 20:33

@gizmo167 congrats. Sending lots of positive vibes. I've had to MC in a row too, so this is reassuring and giving hope to me and many others I'm sure! @Acebobase you too. sending you both so much positivity.
if you don't mind me asking did you have the MCs two consecutive months or afs in between? I had one , then and and then another. Not feeling hopeful for this month (MC only a couple of weeks ago)
d

gizmo167 · 18/04/2021 20:37

@MammaJ21 I had my first in Jan 2020, took a year to get my next bfp which ended in a my on 14th Feb so I had one af between the recent one

MammaJ21 · 18/04/2021 20:51

@gizmo167
Thanks for the response. I hope you can let yourself enjoy this time, but totally get the worry. Maybe book an early scan if it would help.

Did you track ovulation this time after MC? I have been using opks..but they're confussing me. had a peak then I carried on using them...just out of curiosity and assumed they'd turn negative. had negatives. then last couple of days had positive. Last night's was way darker too. So confussing im not sure of that means im ov or if I'm not going to. How long after MC did your Af take? After my first mc I had about 28 days, then af.

Sorry for all the qs! obviously you don't need to answer, I know they're personal!

Marvellouslymadmum · 18/04/2021 21:01

@gizmo167 of course I remember you! I turned 42 last month and that is a great line! Congratulations so pleased for you!

@bez91 @bubblybrit I'm ok now thank you, just find it so hard month after month of bfn and af and every few months it kind of gets to me.

@Acebobase congratulations to you too! So nice to see all the bfp on here recently, definitely gives me hope

gizmo167 · 18/04/2021 21:04

@MammaJ21 my first af this time around after 2nd my was 36 days, I usually have a 29-31 day cycle. I don't use opks as I never had any success with them & found they stressed me out more! I was diagnosed with pcos few years before I had my dd who is nearly 8 & it took 3 years to conceive her but since having her my cycles really regulated. Seems I don't have a problem getting pregnant now, just staying that way but I guess my age is definitely against me!

gizmo167 · 18/04/2021 21:05

@Marvellouslymadmum thank you hun, absolutely petrified if I'm honest!

bez91 · 18/04/2021 21:11

Thanks @bubblybrit you too although we could probably both have done with an egg for BFPs if we don't think we've ovulated 😆

justwant2beamum yesss 🙌🏼 don't blame you. I had a drink last night with DH - practically been teetotal a year since TTC and felt like an immense release 😊

OP posts:
Marvellouslymadmum · 18/04/2021 21:34

@gizmo167 I completely get that, it's so hard to relax and enjoy but hopefully you'll feel better once you've had a scan and everything
