@Lollipop25. I’m on day 8 of the dreaded flashing smiley. I’m so sick of dtd that I’m praying to see the static tomorrow so that an end is in sight. My 2 year old has a bad cold at the moment and isn’t sleeping well overnight so just feel exhausted! When I was TTC#1 I had 2 cycles where I never got a static smiley....no idea if that meant the OPK just missed it or whether I didn’t ovulate? I’m hoping that this cycle hasn’t been a complete waste of time 😬 fingers crossed you receive your smiley soon....it’s so frustrating x

Sounds exhausting for you @bubblybrit, I think if I don't see a static this month, I might not use opks next cycle. I'm getting a little obsessed, and disappointed each time it's not any kind of smiley. I'm 38 next month so kinda feel times not on my side. Got bfp on first cycle with DD and Ds but im 9 years older now🙈 had a bfp on 4th cycle but ended in mc at 6 ish weeks. So still possible I guess.

I’m almost 37 so understand how you feel about time not being on your side @Lollipop25. It took 6 cycles with DD and then I fell first time with second pregnancy but ended in MMC in Dec. We took a break from TTC but I was still tracking cycles and using opks that showed peak. Bit annoyed now that I’m actively trying that static seems to elude me! I hate TTC as find it soooo stressful. I get obsessed and can’t concentrate on anything else. I hope you find your peak soon x

Guys I have been ttc for 2 years and the month I got no static and gave up after loads of smileys was actually the month I conceived so keep the faith and keep trying xx

I got my static smiley yesterday (CD14).. literally had no flashing smiley, just zeros then static 🤦🏼‍♀️ I usually ov around CD21 so we thought we had lots of time.. but literally had 1 day to ttc! Argh. Anyone else ever had that??

@Florence15 they're definitely positives and the lines will get darker, 13dpo is still early. Congratulations!

@SLCxxx I haven't had no flashers but only got one this month before my static - it was a panic lol

@justwant2beamum thanks hun. I mc on the 16th Dec so guess this was my 3rd cycle. It was my first time using pre seed (not sure if you’ve heard of it) I didn’t seem to have much cm and I’d heard great reviews so thought I’d try it. Plus started using cb opks alongside the easy at home ones👍 X

Thanks @elsimo. I really needed to hear some positivity. I got another flashing smiley this morning. My DH doesn’t want to dtd tonight so I’m feeling a bit frustrated thinking that we could miss our chance this month. I can’t really be bothered dtd either but would do so for the sole purpose of TTC whereas DH doesn’t want to force it. I hate the TTC journey 😢 hope you are doing well.

@SLCxxx. I had this last month. Was quite taken aback but dtd that day as well as the day after. Didn’t feel as if I really ‘tried’ that month as I’m used to dtd over a longer fertile window 😂

Haha, oh I know those feelings well but actually we have been trying for so long I am really having to push myself to dtd and its my OH encouraging me lol.

hi. I've been quiet on here but trying to catch up when I can.
So after a bfp I've unfortunately miscarried...second consecutive one. Had one in Jan and just had (having?) another one which seems to be tapering off now. It was about 5 weeks so cusp of being a chemical/miscarriage. But nonetheless, really sad. I had one af before this bfp and was really hopeful it would be different. Meh.

I hope you're all doing ok and sending lots of positivity to you all for this month.

Can I ask those who have had one/multiple mc,how long you waited TTC? I'm now wondering if I should have waited longer in between....however I honestly didn't expect it to happen so soon after. I don't really want to 'wait' because don't want to miss any potential chances. but equally going to try to keep chilled and just see what happens.How long did everyone wait? anyone not have an af in-between and have any successes?

just wondering if there's any reason not to TTC/see what happens straight away.
I didn't have any scans etc just told to wait it out, so just hoping everything that needs to pass has. I have had a negative test today and bleeding seems to be tapering off. I hope this all makes sense as I've just splurtered out.

@MammaJ21 I'm so sorry for your losses, I didn't wait after my 1st mc and had BFP on the 1st cycle after, had a healthy dd. I was told there was no need to wait if I didn't want to. I'm currently on 1st cycle after mc in feb and hoping for BFP in a few weeks. If you feel ready, try away🥰

I've had 2 MCs. The first at 6 weeks and carried on having unprotected sex as soon as bleeding subsided, I feel pregnant straight away without a period in between but that pregnancy ended in a MMC at 11 weeks.
There is no set time you should wait, I didn't have any intervention with the first but the second I had to have surgical management and they said to wait a month (they always do so they can date any pregnancy easier) but if you feel ready you should try especially if you have a negative test which shows your body is ready. It's just emotionally you have to decide on 😊

@Lollipop25 Thanks. Do you mean before you had an Af or had one af then got pregnant?

I've read this too about no need to wait really , just helps with dating. Just want to make sure my body would be ready and hoping getting pregnant so soon after MC didn't cause it again etc.

@MammaJ21 sorry wrote that oddly😂 no af between, mc Xmas day at 12 weeks and had BFP by end January. I know how you feel, I used to think maybe I lifted something too heavy, worked too hard etc but there's nothing you have done, please don't blame yourself. It just wasn't meant to be. If I hadn't mc my 1st, I wouldn't have my DD, don't lose hope, mcs really are so common,

@MammaJ21 I've had a mc, then healthy DD, followed by Ds and another mc so it just makes no sense really why one pregnancy progresses and another doesn't 🤷🏼‍♀️

@elsimo. Fingers crossed that you get your BFP soon 🤞 I shouldn’t really complain as this is relatively early days after MMC in Dec. I just doing enjoy the TTC journey. My DH and I always squabble which makes dtd even more difficult!

Yes I mean chances are slim that it'd happen right away but just really hope it wouldn't happen a third in a row.

@bez91 thanks. yes, I guess it's 'good' to already have a negative. Does this mean everything has passed that needs to? or just that the levels are low/down to 0.

Even though you know it's happened ,there's always that small glimmer of hope from googling the situation and finding success stories. But at least I know going forward it's a negative right now.

I do have a 15 month DS, so he's definitely keeping me super busy right now ♥️
